This place is terrible!!! Don’t listen to the reviews!!! Bad customer service!!! I’d rather go to Mantra!!! Do not go here I would give one star if I could!!! Customer service is rude and would not exchange my food. Mantra is 100 times better than this place and has better customer service!!! Only a few miles away.

I love this place so much I wouldnt know what to do without it. Their nan is much softer than other places I’ve tried around Southern California. Rogan Josh is my favorite!

This little place is amazing! Run by a very nice family whom always greets you with you a smile. My boyfriend and I eat her often and get the dinner special #8 with a choice of 2 different types of chicken. Chicken Vindalu is so good along with the Makhani chicken. Melts in your mouth with excellent flavors. The rice pudding is a nice desert and if you wanna try something different try the Gulab Jamun… it tastes like little pancake balls in syrup. so good!

Wish i could give it ten stars! This is a small family run business, typical of Punjabi Dhaba’s…and is every bit as authentic, generous, tasty, and highly recommended! Great customer service; only superceded by fabulous tasting food! On Jan 29th night, was driving on 91(to 15S) to Temecula, from San Jose; and at after about 9:45PM was asked by family(over the phone) to ensure that i brought enough indian foor dinner for 15 people when i get to Temecula. Found these guys via Unilocal; and proceeded to call them to order. I was about 30 min away, and they were going to close in ten minutes. When i told them of my dilemma, and that i really needed their help… they went out of their way to accomodate me by taking my very large order over the phone, charging my CC over the phone, and committing to stayng extra 35 min to accomodate my distance. Not only did they take and create a large order at very short notice, stay open late to accomodate me for pickup, they also added for me a large order of extra daal(about 5X normal).when they knew that this was an impromptu family request for food for so many people… and would not accept any monies for the extra daal. They are a gem of a people. The outstanding part was that when i got home, the family just LOVED their food. It was awesome, flavorful, and as authentic as it gets. The Tandooring Chicken was moist and delectable; the matar paneer creamy(a bit more creamy than we are used to in India) but perfect for our ABCD kids here :-), and the daal was authenticity personified(mild, creamy, full of flavor, wow!). The Naan and the Roti’s were soft, and tasty. Run, don’t walk to Punjabi Tandoor! :-)

This place is excellent! Tried the #8 lunch which is a bit of everything to taste. I’m not versed on Indian food, but the spice was perfect for me. Vegetables were perfect. Don’t let the paper and Styrofoam service concern you. Naan was amazing!!!

These guys rule. I love this kind of food but there’s is really good but what I liked most is I went in to get food to go for the first time and while I was waiting, one of the chefs in the back was trying new recipes and asked if I would taste test some and I did. Free samples of deliciousness. I thought this was unique but the next time I went they came out with some samples for me to try while I was waiting again. Super, super nice people!

Lunch is really good and they’ll let you sample before you buy. For dinner, their tikka masala chicken is good but vegetable korma is too spicy for me and not a fan of their vegetables. Good prices too. Samosas are too spicy too but my husband likes it

He remembered her since a few months ago! Nice guy! GreatFood! Will definitely be back

If you’re looking for authentic, quality, fresh, and quick food than please, come here. Lunch specials here are awesome! You get two curries + rice + vegetable samosa + naan all for under $ 10. Seriously a very generous serving too. You can get a beverage but personally, I recommend water since the food is so decadent you wouldn’t want to waste any calories or taste bud on a beverage. The chicken tikka masala is so so SOSO good. I want to bathe in it and let the warmth of the sauce caress me, ahhh. I cannot even describe how tender and rich this beautiful masterpiece is. The amount of chicken in this is so generous, it’s like the chicken dances it’s way into it, and I don’t blame them! Oh man, let me get started on the saag paneer /palak paneer. Jesus Christ, I don’t even like spinach like that but man if you serve me this I for sure will eat it and ask for seconds. It’s so light yet flavorful and offered great aromas and the cheese that is being blanketed in there, oh man how do I love my cheese. Let’s get to it, what everyone has been waiting for. …THENAAN! Man, have you ever seen naan be made right before your very eyes? See the chef roughing up a ball of dough then splattering it into some drum and seeing it bubble up right before your very eyes and then being served a bubble bread that had a nice slight crunch but super soft and stretchy in the inside. Oh man, can he make me some every day??? Please?! Seriously so good. I love the naan, the curries and the service but most of all the price. 10⁄10 leave here satisfied. ****Side note**** I think the only area that really needs improvement is the choice of plates, they use styrofoam which honestly isn’t a big deal, especially for take out(duh). But for customers who are dining in, I think it would be appropriate to use ceramic and metal utensils. It just seems a bit wasteful to continuously throw away plates.

I wish there were ten stars! This Indian restaurant is casual, and extremely friendly service. Have been here several times with friends for their lunch combos and for their dinner. The food is EXCELLENT. Being a vegetarian, they offer a huge array of vegetarian options that all taste amazing. Everything is freshly made and from scratch(home-made recipes) so you can taste the quality. Wish they were closer to home, but I definitely go out of my way to eat here whenever possible!

I’m not even a huge fan of this type of food and I’ve come to look forward to eating here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in helping unfamiliar customers to navigate the menu. I strongly recommend the Chicken Masala. Seriously, wow. Everything is fresh, the prices are reasonable, the store is clean, and the atmosphere is relaxing.

I really can’t say enough about this place! It’s so delicious, and the customers service is excellent. I used to get the chicken tikka masala because it’s wonderful, but then I discovered the rich, buttery chicken makhani! I cannot put into words the nirvana your tastebuds will be in with the makhani. I’m generally not a rice fan, but the basmati rice is fluffy and delightful. The naan!!! Oh em geeee! It’s made fresh with every order. It’s bubbly and soft, and I love the little crispy bits on the outside. I love the garbanzo beans. They’re a little spicy, but I love spicy, so if you aren’t used to spicy foods, it might be too much for you.

Why did I not know there was a Corona location earlier? I was first introduced to this restaurant by my in laws in San Diego. Ever since then, I always insist on eating there every time I visit. I finally checked out their website and discovered they had a Corona and Anaheim location as well! They even offer online ordering which is super easy and quick. You’re able to choose the time you want to pick up. I ordered my favorites. nan with chicken mahkani. saag paneer. chicken tikka masala. and paneer tikka masala. Each entrée is under $ 6 and they give very generous portions. Each dish is loaded with spices, meat, sauce… so damn good. The nan is perfectly crisp on the outside while still nice and chewy inside. definitely get 1 or 2 orders for each entrée. This place offers up affordable authentic Indian cuisine. There are several other Indian restaurants closer to me, but I would rather drive the extra distance for this place. Each dish is seasoned nicely and the family that runs it are all super friendly. The quality is so much better than going to a buffet. If you’ve never tried Indian food before, this is definitely the place to go. The spices aren’t overpowering and they’re able to adjust the spice level if needed. Honestly, nothing was too spicy just as is. Be sure to pick up the Mango Lassi to wash down all that food. It’s sweet, creamy, and a perfect way to end the meal. Hands down, best indian food in the IE.

A couple of days ago I popped into Tandoor for lunch with a couple of work colleagues. It is definitely not the first time I have eaten here, but after our lunch I was compelled to write a rave review. Perhaps because it is one of the only Indian places around that I actually enjoy. Call me a purist, but I compare everywhere to my grandma’s cooking. But Tandoor comes pretty dang close to bringing me back to my childhood spent in my nana’s kitchen. I ordered the curry chicken which is the perfect spicy(of course I’m used to spicy), and my friends ordered the chicken tikka masalam(mild) and veggies. All of their meals come with rice and a made to order, soft and chewy naan of your choice. Plain is great, garlic even better! I also ordered a pea and potato samosa. I’m a harsh samosa critic, so for me to rave about them is really saying something! However one of the best parts about coming to Tandoor is the friendly service. They are very generous with their portions and the food is fresh and piping hot each time I visit. If you are a vegetarian, there are many many options for you as well. Will definitely be returning soon!

If Indian people eat this good of food all the time I can see why many of their movies have singing and dancing in them. After having my lunch at this place, I was ready to sing and dance myself! I came in for the lunch special and was given a selection of hot fresh food being cooked right then for reasonable price. I ordered the chicken curry, The mixed vegetables, rice and garlic naan. This food was amazing! It was so fresh and so flavorful but even when I was full I kept eating. I scooped up every last bite with the garlic naan. Not a single bite was wasted or saved. The great thing about this place is that you see the people in the back cooking the food. It is prepared right in front of you in this tiny kitchen by a woman who clearly takes pride in her job. I will definitely be visiting this place again.
