The soup with shrimp was very wholesome and delicious. It was akin to a thai inspired peruvian soup. My friend got a fried fish with salad that she was not a big fan of. Overall good food. They were not prepapred for a big crowd on a weekday for lunch so the service was slow. They did communicate the delay to us honestly.

This restaurant is a Gem for Corona residents and a MUST have for those that love Peruvian food. Aside of the tasty and traditional dishes, this place has a great staff that displays their gratitude through their excellent service. They truly place customer service as their top priority and they serve the food as if you were one to their own family members. Alex, the owner is a person dedicated to providing you with the best service available and always with a smile. Ladies and gentleman, you can’t go wrong with this place, delicious food at crazy reasonable prices, HIGHLY recommended… the seafood soups are so dam tasty… ENJOY!!! E

I was working on a docu/reality shoot in the area and I had lunch with crew here. I have to give it them for making accommodations in spite of last minute changes for a crew of about 20 people. The food was really good and everyone really enjoyed it. I had the chicken & seafood mixed chaufa. Also, the guy that works there, I think his name is Marco, is really cool.

Such a let down. I was feeling really sick today and wanted to have some vegetable soup, not knowing what restaurants are good around here I decided to order from this place and give it a shot. Besides the fact that the delivery was pretty fast(I live about 5 blocks away from it) there was nothing else that I liked from my experience. I ordered a large minestrone soup which is supposed to have vegetables and rice. Nowhere in the menu does it say that the soup has beef in it, and to my surprise when I opened my soup I got a lot of green water, noodles, some peas, some carrots, two chunks of potatoes and BEEF ! Given, I didn’t try the soup since I am vegetarian and had to be satisfied with the small white rice. I also ordered arroz chaufa which is a main thing for Peruvians and although I didn’t taste it I was disappointed by the amount that was given. Didn’t even fill up the container that it came in and I’m paying $ 9.25 for this?! Never again!

The restaurant is very cozy and the staff was very welcoming. The food is savory and delivers that satisfaction to ones hunger. I decided to order the bistec enceballado and was bot disappointed. Minimal wait time and this restaurant is an ideal spot for a one on one date or for a get together with friends

Had dinner with my kids here & we were very delighted & satisfied with the food & service. We had the Ceviche mixto, Papa a la Huancaina, Tallarin verde con bistek & of course Inca Cola to wash it all down with! The mixto needed a little more picante but otherwise was amazing. The Papa a la Huancaina was creamy but also could’ve used a kick. The Tallarin Verde con bistek was incredible! My 1 critique is that my son wanted some canchita & were charged $ 2.50 for a tiny bowl, should’ve been free! Definitely plan on making this a frequent spot to go to!

Started off sharing Jalea… the appetizer of fried assorted seafood… enough for 4 people. It was soooooo good! It came with spicy and mild green dipping sauces. We shared fruity sangria which was good because it didn’t seem to have too much alcohol in it(I could drive after!) My dish was Al Ajilo… broiled tilapia in garlic sauce with rice and fried cassava. I cleaned the plate. I shared seafood soup… very good and ceviche… very good. Looking forward to my next visit. Friendly management.

I’ve been at the Restaurant many times before, the restaurant itself from the outside looks like a whole in the wall, but its ok inside nothing fancy, but they have a nice patio, the furniture needs a little upgrading though lol. I always order their 2 most popular dishes the Parijuela(sea food) soup is one of their most popular dishes which is really good, Large portions with plenty of seafood. I also always try the Jalea which is the Bomb Good, Fried calamari, Shrimp, Fish and Yuca topped with Red onions and Corn nuts… To die for! These are there 2 main popular dishes and they do it good, but in all honest everything else on the menu in my opinion is not worth ordering, i have tried a few other things and they don’t do not do it as well as their 2 main dishes, this is the reason why they get 3 stars, if all of there other food menu option tasted as good as their parijuela and Jalea this Place would get 5 stars.

This place hits the spot when the hubby and I are in the mood for fried food from the sea, AKA Jalea… the ceviche is pretty good too. However, if you’re the OCD type I just found out when picking up food that they were rated a «B»

Since I’ve had authentic homemade Peruvian food, I wasn’t impressed at all by Pico Rico. The only thing that was good was the service, when we went in to order take out. The food wasn’t horrible, but was deffinitly nothing to write home about. The maduros were probably the best dish I had there. No need to go back, Pio Pio is up the street.

My boyfriend and I weren’t sure whether we wanted to eat in or do take out, but once we stepped into this place it was pretty clear… TAKEOUT!!! It smelled like mildew and the chairs and table cloth’s looked pretty dingy. The waittress was very pleasant and the menu had a lot of options. I ordered the conch cerviche which had way too many onions, the Papas a la Huancaina was decent(creamy, but not spicy enough) the steak and pork dish with rice and beans was ok, I had to throw out the pork(it was way too hard) My boyfriend had the breaded chicken which was good. Other than the large portions, I was not impressed by this place. Probably wont go back.

I love Peruvian food. This is one of the best places I have gone to. The food is fresh and tasty. Its a small place and in the weekends it gets busy. My favorite dishes are the halea which is a bunch of fried seafood with this tomato and onion topping absolutely delicious. In the mood for meat. The lomo saltiado is awesome! I would recommend this place to everyone.
