They have decent food. Good service. They have good specials and coupons in the corona trader… bogos. I eat once a month at least serve breakfast allday.

Not the best, there are better choices near by that prepare food without leaving you with that greasy heavy running for the bathroom feel. My food tasted mainly like it was cooked with a microwave, and was more expensive than my usual place. Overall, if you like Dennys style breakfast than you would probably be OK with hunnies.

Hunnys is a place for everyone, families, friends, meetings you’ll enjoy this place, the service is amazing the waitresses and managers really care about the costumers, the vibe is very retro but it’s a charming diner :-) veggie avocado burger with a lettuce wrap is an amazing vegetarian option, it’s like a vegetarian protein burger from in and out !!! I absolutely love it

The décor is that of the past. When I first walked in this place reminded me of a senior citizen home Or a place where breakfast came to die. Funny story, my food looked like tidied on my plate as well. No seasoning on anything, tasted dreadful, and over all was just a complete fail. Thankfully there is a donut shop next store; as I’m leaving hungry. Two stars for the staff only. They were pretty attentive but that’s the only saving grace. Avoid if possible

The location was convenient. The food was good. But, the service was exceptional! Our server was star and she was wonderful. She brought refills without asking and even brought a to go cup for the leftover soda. It was very thoughtful and she was spot on and one of the best servers I have ever met. The building was older but comfortable and clean. It is definitely a local coffee shop and has the local coffee shop feel. Good times!

Truly enjoyed the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I’ve lived in Corona for over 10 years and just discovered this place. The banana pancakes were amazing! Not just bananas on top. My friends enjoyed their food as well. I think they have an outdoor patio. If so, I’m definitely coming back after a hike with Fido. Either way, I’ll be back. No pun intended.

Decent food, but it shouldn’t cost $ 17 for 3 pancakes scrambled eggs, and hash browns. I was very surprised to get a bill for $ 60 at a diner for only 3 people. Good diner food at ridiculous fine dining prices.

Been to every Hunnys(other corona location and elsinore) and have to say this is the best one of the 3. Great service, all the waitresses were nice and prompt. The place is clean and has a welcoming feel to it. The food even tasted better for some reason. Good job over there!

I love this place… All the girls are really nice and friendly, very home kind of fill!!! The servers there are all beautiful which could be intimidating to all these other women who all gave one star!!! If you don’t believe me try it for yourself!!!

I feel bad writing this since the server was so nice. We have been eating breakfast there for a long time now, and always loved it. Decided to have lunch here and sorry we did. I asked what kink of lettuce was in the salad, she said Romaine, but what I got was soggy iceberg. She still insisted it was romaine and that she would pick the white parts out for me. I told her no, and when I got my sandwich,(club) it was the saddest club sandwich I had ever seen. We’ll stick with breakfast.

This was my first time visiting Hunny’s and I have to say I was really impressed! The building itself is 100% outdated, but I digress. The food was GREAT. Seriously I was expecting mediocre diner-esque food and It was much better quality. I believe I had the chicken sandwich? Maybe the crispy chicken sandwich? Whatever it was, it was delish! Our waitress was great, we got fast service, and the prices were so cheap. No complaints here! Will definitely return.

Best fried chicken around. That’s all I get there. And never disappointed. Love the mashed potatoes and gravy. Was disappointed the Hunny’s off the 15 freeway doesn’t have the same gravy.

Yum. Breakfast. Chicken and waffles. And they do chicken right here! It’s on the menu everyday of the week, but on the weekend, the chicken and waffle combo drops $ 2 to $ 11.99. Need I say… tempting? It should be. You get a half of a chicken(freshly fried so you must anticipate a goodly wait), an entire 4-part waffle, and two eggs. I don’t know about you, but that means sharsies at our table. And I still had leftovers. Not greasy, big pieces, the white meat nicely done, and the skin is soooooo crisp. Hey, stay away from my skin(slaps encroaching hand). They also are promoting a $ 5.99 chicken lunch right now. And just so you know, the Corona Farmer’s Market is located in the same parking lot on Saturdays. So come for breakfast, leave with a ton of good stuff from our local small businesses. Makes for a fun Saturday morning.

My wife, myself, and her friend came slightly after lunch. My wife and I just had lunch at another restaurant so she ordered an ice tea and I ordered a cannoli. I also had a Corona beer for $ 4.99 — talk about marking up the prices. Cannoli was just okay as it did not taste fresh. I was going to let the waitress know about the stale cannoli but I was thinking that her reply might be, «I’ve got your cannoli right here»! =) My wife’s friend ordered pastrami sandwich sans bread topped with cheese. When her meal came, there was no cheese. Waitress handled it okay but never checked back after that, perhaps it was the end of her shift. Golf on the flat screen televisions, young inexperienced waitresses clad in tight t-shirts, old Caucasian guys talking their wives into eating at the restaurant, and senior dudes badmouthing Tiger Woods when he appeared. The only experience I’ve had at golf was spending lots of time in front of the windmill! Not the ambience I am comfortable with or used to except for the waitresses. Paying the bill at the counter, the young lady at the register converses with her two colleagues about 10 yards away from her. At least look your customer in the eye while you are making change and maybe ask how the meal was — sheesh. I felt like I was at a Vietnamese hairdresser with chatty workers being totally ignored and being made fun of. Short changes me a dollar of which she returns a dollar and apologizes with indifference. I do notice that workers are lightly cleaning the horizontal bars I think are made of brass. That’s a good thing since vertical bars might indicate why old guys would want to hang out here after hours. =) We leave and there is no «goodbye» or «thank you». Perhaps it was an off day for Hunnys’ Café, the planets were not aligned properly, too many massive sunspots, and that my wife and I had just experienced superior service and food at a previous restaurant. Perhaps, but I am not coming back too soon unless someone else picks up the tab. In conclusion, go there for the food and ignore the ambience and subpar service. If you are a white male and look like you play golf or brought one with you, you might get service with a smile and polite conversation. As Forrest Gump says, «that’s all I’ve got to say about that!». What sayeth thou, Hunnys Café? Hah, I knew it! They can’t respond because they are not able to read or write. Ouch…

Decided to stop in here with the family and grab some food. I really liked the food and the atmosphere. The service was great and if you like to play scratchers they have a booth to buy them up front

Have you ever been to a small diner filled with old men talking politics, clicks of older ladies gossiping and young waitresses who are ready for prom? No? Well this is the hottest local spot for senior citizens and locals who love a decent priced dish. Personally, I feel like this spot is A-OK. I always get the ham & eggs breakfast with home fries. It’s always cooked perfectly and the cut of ham is usually big enough to satisfy a young adult like myself. The jam is juicy, tender and easy to cut. I’ve never had the issue with the ham. The breakfast fries are delicious, they’re lightly fried with cut onion and bell pepper and have a generous amount of pepper on them which I’m a fan of, try this out instead of your shredded hash browns. I’ve only been to lunch here twice and the selection was okay, nothing really stood out. I ordered the tri-tip basket and it was horrible. The meat was extremely over cooked and dry, I jokingly said to my parents that I could be clubbed over the head with the tru-tip because it was so hard it wasn’t even edible. I honestly could not cut through it at all. I left 2⁄3 slices of tri-tip that comes with the basket and just had the mushy coleslaw and fries. I did not want to complain because I was in a hurry but Jesus Christ was the food hard. I honestly felt like the meat had major freezer burn and that’s what might have caused it to be rock hard. Another lunch item I’ve had is the BLTA. The food was great, I mean it’s pretty hard to mess up a BLTA. What’s best about ordering this durning lunch hours is that you get 2 choices of sides, I got fries and a small side salad and it only cost me about $ 9. Even though I think hunnies is OK, I feel like it’s apart of my family tradition to come here for breakfast. I hope this place improves in certain areas. Side note: Also, I just wanted to point out the fact that the mid-aged Caucasian male host/waiter who wears open-toe shoe should really reevaluate his choice of footwear to work. It’s revolting having to look down and notice a big dirty foot with toenails with major jam and fungus basting in filth around food. It grossed me out to the point of where I wanted to leave. I found this extremely inappropriate for the workplace.

We have been here three or four times. The fried chicken is the best thing we’ve tried. The service all depends on the waitress. 3 out 4 could definitely use some improvement on their customer service skills.

SOOOOOOOGOOD! I’ll keep this short — Honeys has great food, great service and is centrally located. Do NOT think twice about going, just go. Keep an eye out for coupons in the local mail, they offer a buy one get one free meal often.

So here it is, sad to say this because the food was pretty good and the tip I left is going to the person who tried to rob me, yes rob me. I’ll explain… We get our cheque and I look it over like I always do and something didn’t look right. There was a charge for $ 8.99 next to a line with no description! All food items we ordered were on the bill plus this $ 8.99 mystery. I brought it to the attention on the cashier and without hesitation took it off the bill, this was obviously no «mistake» nor did the waitress it cashier offer an explanation and an apology that was so condescending that it was like I was the jerk for saying something about it. I regret not taking this up with the manager, I think I’ll return to let him/her know, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was what they are directed to do. I returned and spoke to the«manager«which was supposedly the same person that is the cashier, I didn’t necessarily believe her but I was told there was no one else there to talk to, still felt this was not true… How many others have they done this to and gotten away with it? In closing, large parties or parties with big cheque amounts, thoroughly check you bills! I’m disgusted with this and will NEVER return!!!
