Fantastic Sams Hair Salons

I wouldn’t go near this salon if you are going for color. I have been going here for about a year for a cut since moving to corona. Rebecca has done a great job with that. I was in a time crunch and couldn’t get into see my other girl for 3 weeks but have maternity photos this week. I figured I let her color my hair and maybe it would be less since it’s fantastic sams not a high end salon. I asked for her to just cut my hair and redo my hombre /​bilayage style I got done at another salon — easy enough right. Cut my hair (redo layers) and add more color, as much as you cut out. Easy? NOPE! I went in, paid $ 170 and came out like my picture shown. She clearly couldn’t do the color job I requested, and should have told me so so I didn’t waste my time or money. I requested a refund since I now have to go back to my original sale I use for color, and they say to let Rebecca try doing it again. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! No way, I made the mistake one time I’m not going to let her mess my hair up again. The manager I spoke with has NO customer service experience and didn’t even seem to care how unhappy I was. Was no help what so ever and simply said their policy is to have the unhappy customer come in for a fix. How can I trust her to do my hair, I don’t want that. I want my money back, plain and simple. I guess lousy customer service is to be expected from a place a such. I’m never going back, they lost a customer. I actually won’t ever step foot in another fantastic SAMs again. I don’t agree with the policy — lesson learned the hard, expensive way.

My mother went in to get a haircut and she had Sue the stylist. First of all she cut too much off and didn’t listen to her instead of cutting off 3 inches like she asked she cut 4 – 5. My mom just wanted leave with wet hair as she didn’t want to get it styled, but the stylist SUE insisted on blowdrying it just to «see how it would look» then charged her for it so instead of it being $ 20 she charged her $ 35-​$ 40. The cut is uneven and horrible she went in with beautiful long hair which took her awhile to grow and left with uneven and not styled hair. Horrible

Just took my niece for an ombré and hair cut. Turned out amazing! Rosalind was the stylist and she was great. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I have been going to the same stylist at this salon my whole life, now that I have a family of my own, I can happily say that my husband, son and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
My husband is in the military, so he has to get a hair cur weekly… let me tell you, he is one picky guy. But Rebecca and Magda are the only ones he will let near him with some clippers!
My son is 3 and does excellent with the suckers they have for him every time he comes in, they are supper cooperative with him and always get the job done, and he’s a tough one when it comes to hair cuts!
For myself, Eneyda, who has probably been with Fantastic Sams the longest, has always been my go-​to stylist! Never have I had a bad hair cut or color, and if i tell her what i want and she thinks it won’t look good, she tells me so! Sometimes I tell her to try it anyways and guess what… she was right! I once pushed her to cut my bangs short, she told me no, it would be to short… i told her to do it anyways… and i had bobby pins holding my bangs back for weeks!
Should have listened to her! She’s the professional, not me!
Expect honesty and professionalism when going here, We love it!

went recently with my daughter who’s 13, checked in with a stylist @ the counter and asked for lupe because of the ratings i saw on here… so after 25 min of waiting and many people coming and going, other customers even asking us“aren’t you next?” my response «well we should have been?» meanwhile my daughter gets up to check the clip board for how far we are on the list?, then a minute later their phone rings and i hear «fantastic sams, how can i help you?,.oh, yes let me get her for you „lupe, you have a call“!!! i think.“wth» that’s her?, we have been sitting here watching her take customer after customer? so i then think well maybe they asked for her?, but no can’t be i didn’t hear them say her name? hmmmm so as i get up to ask why?, she quickly walks away back to her client. standing there for a minute another stylist turns and asks can i help you? yes, can you tell me where we are on your list? she say’s what’s your name? i say hannah, we’ve been here a half an hour already? hmmm she say’s, i don’t see your name?. i say well that girl over there (pointing to girl doing a hair color two seats over-​next to lupe i might ad!!) took my name down and even asked if i was here for someone and i said yes, lupe! so the girl helping me now says ok, let me tell lupe your here for her. then a couple minutes later mean while seeing lupe tell the next client (which had two young boys) i need to do this lady then comes over and says hannah??? i say yes, that’s us! she say’s sorry. so what are we doing today? we tell her how we want my daughters hair cut (she has hair about 4in past the middle of her back) which is a trim with long layers on the ends, she says ok then starts to put the drape on and i’m headed to the front door to get fresh air when i hear.“mom” and it’s lupe saying «ughh mom!!, i just want to tell you that i’m going to charge you $ 5.00 extra for your daughters long hair» so you know… i say oh, ok? when in fact i should of said «ughhh hell no!!» then were leaving!!! and to be honest i should have, but we had already wasted sooooo much time there and i didn’t want to embarrass my daughter!!! so anyway… i just can’t believe lupe had the nerve to ask me for $ 5.00 after sitting there for such a long time and i really can’t believe i paid it!!! boy was that dumb!!! lupe didn’t even say anything to the other stylist that screwed up our name on the list!!! funny how i paid extra for my daughter to get hair cut that was getting cut anyway!!! what a joke!!! we will never go back or tell anyone anything good about that place! horrible, horrible!!!

Always happy and satisfied with my haircut. Jackie is the best and always nice to talk to. I used to spend 30 $ for my comb over haircut, but now I get it done for cheaper and just as good by Jackie.

I’ve never had good luck with fantastic sams but I took the chance as it has been well over 10 years since I’ve been there.
So I took my daughter to get our hair straighten and styled simple yet nice for family pictures and they charged me $ 34.95 per person. Keep in mind the way we had our hair styled was my daughters hair was straighten and one side was half-​way braided and pinned back with a bow I bought. My hair was straightened then pulled back half way using a rubber band. I would have thought that they would have only charged me $ 20 per person as they really didn’t have to do much and only spent about 20 mins on each of us but boy was I wrong.
I won’t be going back there for something that simple again let alone anything else for that matter.

Pretty good came in here for my two boys 13 and 8 to get two completely different cuts. They took them right back quickly we’re nice and tried to get a good understanding of what I want instead of just assuming like some places do. The reason for no 5 stars… they need pest control to come spray cuz ants are all over the windows and now I feel like bugs are crawling on me. I get it it’s getting hot and it’s about ant time but spray cuz the seating is right against the windows.

Finally! I’ve been searching for someone who could cut my hair (it’s fine but I have a lot of it!)… and after MANY mangled jobs, I’ve found Lupe. She listened, looked at my pictures, and gave me the pixie cut I wanted! I will follow her anywhere!

I finally found a stylist that knows what she’s doing! Jackie was very easy to talk to and she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. I had kinda short bob/​pixie and I wanted a undercut asymmetrical shaved cut and she did a great job! I love it!
Update* so Jackie asked me to be one of her models for a photo shoot and of course I wanted to help her out since she’s been such a great stylist. I took time off from work and went in on a Sunday for this photo shoot. She said she’d email me the pictures. Never did. I asked her a few times for them and still she hasn’t sent me them. I feel kinda bummed and like it was unprofessional of her. I guess I won’t be going back to this salon since I feel uncomfortable. Luckily I found a new salon called hair waves in corona :)

The stylist was so good at cutting my hair and was patient too! Vivian (I believe that was her name), did the whole she-​bang on my hair, including shampoo, cut, style, and hair dry! My fiancé really loved the look! I would definitely come back to this place!

This place is very clean and the stuff is very professional. Rebecca is a great stylist and a very nice girl. Rebecca does all of my family hair.

The service hear was really great! I got my hair cut by Rebecca and she was very nice. She did everything that I told her to do.

This is a good quality hair cut for a nice low price.
I think that they won my heart when I who always had very very straight limp hair started to get some curl. I was pregnant. They helped me find a look that was functional and pretty.
