I would rate them more stars if I could, best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant. If you’re looking for basic Italian food like alfredo this isn’t the place, but I will say that every thing that came to the table was amazing. Alfredo does such a perfect job towards everyone’s needs and so does the staff making us feel right at home. Good job guys!

Take a vacation to Italy without leaving Corona. We came in for lunch and were greeted by the owner, Alfredo. He made us feel as welcomed as if we were entering his own home. I especially appreciate how he went out of his way to make our youngest daughter feel like she was royalty. I ended up with the lobster ravioli in an alfredo sauce. My eyes kept rolling back in my head as I discovered the flavors and textures of the first bite(I almost didn’t share with my wife, it was that good!) One word… Exceptional food and service. We’ll be back again, and again, and again.

Loved this place. The service was outstanding. The wait staff was so attentive to our needs. The food was amazing. Great portions, not too big. I can’t wait to go back and try the tiramisu its made in house but they were out when we went:( Espresso to end the meal was amazing as well. Support our local independent restaurants. This one deserves it!

OMG! Do yourself a favor and come here! It is just so good!!! They have the service of a first-rate restaurant, which itself is worth it!!! They certainly make you feel like you are at a $$$$$ restaurant, while you are at a $$-place. And the food… OMG…their simple pasta is just soooooo soooooo good! The best pasta of my life! All their dishes were well-made, fresh, and healthy Italian, while their pasta impressed me so much! Everything cooked the right way using good ingredients!

I had this restaurant bookmarked on Unilocal due to some friends reviews here. Decided to go over the weekend, for lunch. Its tucked away in the corner of the center near the movie theater. They opened at 11, and we arrive around 11:10… and tried to get in the gate farthest to the left of the patio, and it was locked. Tried to get into the gate on the right, it wouldnt open. I went to see if there was another entrance, and there wasnt. We finally found the gate that opened, and made it to the front door — and that was locked. The waiter opened the door, and welcomed us in… and sadly. I immediately smelled a sewer smell. We were seated, and our waiter was great, very attentive, friendly, and gave good service. I was really hungry so I immediately dipped the bread into the oil that was on the table. The prices were a little higher than I expected, I guess I didnt look at the menu beforehand like I usually do. I ordered the pumpkin stuffed ravioli, and that came with soup or salad. The salad sounded good, but I chose the zucchini soup. I ate mine really fast, I was really super hungry. It had a lot of flavor and was really good. I sopped up the bottom of it with some more of the bread. My friend ordered the lobster filled ravioli which was the other option I was thinking of trying. We traded one ravioli each so we could try each others dishes. The lobster ravioli was really fishy and I was thankful I didnt order that to be honest. The pumpkin filled ravioli was good, but when I was done with my portion I still did not feel full. The portion was on the smaller side, in my opinion. We both got a free canolli with our check in to Unilocal.Im not a huge fan of dessert, but I ate it, and it was ok. It lacked flavor a little bit for me, but Im not the best judge of dessert, unless its cheesecake or something I love. The restaurant was empty until right before we left, and our service, again, was great. Im not sure I would return here — I was craving Italian and sadly this didnt quite scratch my itch.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! It is very rare to find a place like this anywhere nowadays. Right when you walk in you are greeted from the owner Alfredo like you are family. Everything is decorated simple but nice and I loved it. There wasn’t a table quite ready for us so we had a seat at the bar to wait. The Bartender was super nice and helped us pick a wine we would love. We went with the super Sicilian it was amazing. It was a red mixed from 4 different kinds of grapes. Highly recommended! When we got seated everyone was so accommodating. Our waitress was the other owners wife and she was super sweet and explained everything to us. We ended up getting the beef carpaccio appetizer and it was so good. Then I got the mushroom penne pasta and it was to die for. We got the tiramissu for dessert and Alfredo gave us a free espresso dessert which was served over vanilla gelato! Can you say yum??? The overall experience was nothing that can truly be described until you go there. You really do feel like a part of the family and I will most definitely will be going back!

My family had been waiting for a good Italian restaurant to come to the area, so we were excited when we read in the paper that Con Amore was going to be opening. We had dinner last night– party of 5 and were seated promptly. Upon being seated, we were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and personable. Our order was taken right away by what seemed to be quite knowledgeable waitstaff. We got 2 orders of the penne, 1 order of duck, 1 order of veal ravioli, and 1 order of the squid ink pasta along with a bottle of wine. Bread and oil/vinegar was soon brought out and replenished very quickly. The food arrived shortly thereafter and was very impressive from several standpoints. First of all, you could definitely tell the pasta was homemade. Everything was artfully prepared, cooked well and tasted delicious. Although it is a little pricey, you get what you pay for. You can tell they pay great attention to not only the food, but the service as well. We felt like they really attended to us well and will definitely be back!!!

My bridesmaids and I stumbled upon this hidden gem on our way back from my bachelorette party. Exhausted from a long day in the sun we walked into a small but beautiful restaurant. We were greeted immediately by the owner who has a splendid and beautiful vibe about him. He accommodated us and routinely checked up on us. I even had a serenade from him and his nephew! Now food… Food was delicious! I had the risotto plate. Very authentic and flavorful. For dessert I had tiramisu(my favorite) and coffee. The tiramisu was so light and airy. If I hadn’t been so full already I would’ve ordered a second serving! This will definitely be a place to stop by whenever we are in the area. I’ve actually made plans with some of the girls to go back in the next couple of weeks. Keep up the great hospitality and unique sense of doing business in such a friendly manner.

Had planned to give this place a try for several weeks, finally dropped by on impulse tonight. We had a series of minor issues that might have derailed the evening(mostly no fault of the venue — my wife has *very* particular tastes, while I enjoyed everything), but I’m giving the full five stars because both of the owners, as well as the rest of the staff, were *so* delightfully charming(and dessert was fabulous). We’re looking forward to going back for their no-menu dinner evenings(can’t remember the Italian phrase — our server called it «Cha-Cha-Cha» but Alfredo said it translated as «What there is, there is.») at the end of the month. Thank you for a lovely night out Alfredo, Donna, and Whitney(«Angelica»?).

I’m just not a fan. Long wait time– not enough seating. Inside is packed and tables are too close together you can barely walk through the restaurant without bumping into someone or hitting someone with your purse. I’m not sure what the capacity if in this place but it seems to be quite small. The host and staff are overly friendly in a weird super-fake way. I mean really? Hug and kiss your guests on the way out!!! Ummm have you heard of BOUNDARIES people? I get that might be customs they have in their county, but you are not in your county. Please be cognizant of our social norms and what is acceptable behavior/touching towards a stranger. I’m not comfortable with a stranger hugging me or kissing me on the cheek. No thank you. Super weird man. On to the food… The food is excellent. I couldn’t say anything bad about quality of food. It truly is exquisite in every way. You can tell that the chef takes great pride in his work and makes sure that each dish is prepared to perfection. I admire that commitment. What I am not in admiration of is the very small portion sizes. Again these tiny portions may be what is considered normal in another country but here in the U.S. We like to eat, we are all about huge portions for a small price. I’m just not a fan of dainty meals that leave me starving still afterwards. And the price… Come on now– the prices are outrageous for the amount of food you are being served. My dish had 4 ravioli and it was around $ 13 for the plate. This(high price) in combination with the small portion sizes, followed by the inappropriate affection/customs, are the reasons why I would not come back. The food itself however, is amazingly good.

Had the most wonderful first time experience at a restaurant that I’ve ever had! The ambiance was gorgeous, the staff made us feel like family & the food was delicious! We had the Calimari and a salad with pears in it to start. I had a seafood linguini, husband had the Seabass and kids had spinach ravioli. Everything was perfection! Molto bene! This was REAL Italian. No franchise fettuccine Alfredo here. It was my daughter’s bday and she was serenaded beautifully. The owner shared with us the philosophy here is that the restaurant is a place to gather with friends and family & the food is to compliment that experience. They don’t accept reservations b/c they’re not there to rush you out the door as soon as you finish your meal.

Description: Con Amore is an exciting addition to the Crossing’s Shopping Center in Corona. Opened in January of 2016, it is a new and inspired restaurant offering authentic Italian fare. The owner’s Donna and Alfredo immerse themselves into making your dining experience very special. I definitely felt like breaking into singing Amore after each taste. Location: The restaurant is tucked into a corner of the Crossing’s Shopping Center and sits right next door to the Movie Theatres. After parking(park near the Panera Bread) walk toward the large courtyard fountain and you will see the outdoor patio seating area on the right hand side. Décor: An Italian Tuscany upscale feel. Tables and chairs are placed in the main dining area. Please pay attention to the special art along the wall as you go to the restrooms. It is beautifully decorated with original art mosaics done by the chef and owner Donna. Very special touch! Menu: The menu is Italian with innovative twists designed by Donna and Alfredo. The menu is in Italian with American descriptions underneath each offering. It is well designed and offers an array of choices including several pasta dishes. My sister-in-law and I ordered the Arugula salad, Lobster ravioli with a flavorful sauce, and the Meat penne pasta. All amazing dishes that I would wholeheartedly recommend. Each were plated attractively and had a tiny flower embellishment, which added to the appeal. Wine/Beer/Cocktails/Champagnes I ordered a glass of Prosecco which was brought chilled to perfection. My sister-in-law ordered the Chianti(suggested by Manuel) and she enjoyed her glass. There is a good variety of wines offered to compliment the menu. Also, a large bar area adorns the right hand side of the restaurant which has large plush covered bar chairs. A great area to come in for a glass of wine.
Service: Our waiter was the owner’s nephew Manuel who was an absolute delight. This is a family business and they go out of their way to make the customers feel like family and friends. A fabulous and special family! Atmosphere: There was Celine Dion music playing in the background and the atmosphere exudes warmth. The noise level is great for friendly conversations to be heard and appreciated. Restrooms: There is one restroom that was clean and well maintained, located pass the bar toward the back. Final Thoughts: This is a restaurant that you simply must try. I know that once you do, you will be thinking about coming again and again. It is wonderful to see the passion of this family and their desire to create good food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. I am looking forward to coming again and trying something different each time I do. Salud Con Amore!

This was my first time here. Definitely worth the trip. This is good for just wonderful Italian dining or a romantic evening, definitely! The owners are from Italy and they have some family working here that have the most adorableaccidents. The owner was so personable and friendly. But the most important part was the food was gorgeous and tasty. I had the penne à la fungi! This is the type of restaurant you want to see succeed! The veal ravioli WOW!!!

If you want to eat at a restaurant that feels like home from the moment you walk in… head over to Con Amore Ristorante. Alfredo, the owner, is a master at greeting each customer like they are family, and he does it in such a friendly and welcoming way that you want to sit down, and stay awhile. Alfredo is a true master at customer service! It was impressive to watch him do his thing each time someone came in the door. I wish I could give more stars for his impressive efforts! We were greeted by our server promptly, and our drink orders were delivered right away. It sounds like a small thing, but I really like the water carafes they leave on the table. They were filled with ice cold water, and you could refill your glass yourself. I really appreciate this because the glasses are on the small side. Not only is this appreciated, but very prudent on the part of the restaurant, so they aren’t constantly worrying about refilling the water glasses. We ordered the Caprese, and this was unlike any I have had before. The mozzarella was flavorful and it was topped with a roasted tomato garnish with a concentrated tomato flavor. Yum! We order the Penne ai Funghi(pasta w/mushroom and black truffle sauce), Petto di Pollo alla Parmigiana(Chicken Parmesan), and Lasagna alla Bolognese(lasagna w/meat sauce), and our orders came out fairly quickly. Everything is made fresh, and I am always willing to wait a little to get hot, fresh food! All the pasta was fresh and absolute perfection. We all had nothing but good things to say about our meals, and the chicken dish was yummy as well. Everything came out hot from the kitchen, and this made me happy. Hot food should be hot… and all of that. Alfredo came to check on us several times, and he suggested we end the meal with something sweet. He brought us a vanilla gelato w/coffee, and my husband’s friend said it was amazing. I don’t like coffee, so Alfredo brought me pistachio gelato which I thoroughly enjoyed! What an amazing experience. From start to finish everything was superb. The way we were greeted, the food and the service. We will definitely return to Con Amore! Bravo Alfredo, and family, bravo!

My family and I ate here on Saturday night. We were warmly greeted by the staff, and impressed with the charming atmosphere. Having just come home from a trip to Rome, I was very impressed by how much it felt like being in Italy. The service was great, our waitress was very attentive to us and our glasses were never empty. We had a bowl of spaghetti bolognese just to try it, and it was incredible. For our main dish my husband and I both ordered chicken dishes, and our son ravioli. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back there again soon.
