City Place Grill

It has an extensive selection of food and the staff are great. However, I can’t help but feel that it could be so much more! For example, there are no breakfast foods or tofu dishes. I went over there for some breakfast on a Sunday morning and could not even get pancakes! It could do so much more business.

Worst tuna-​melt sandwich I’ve ever seen. It was a soppy inedible mess. The tuna was oozing out the sides and tasted like a gallon of mayo was mixed in. Lazily put together.
Ick — nasty! And now I’m left hungry for lunch.

Great dinner food. Philly cheese steak is my favorite. The soup of the day (chicken noodle) was good, like homemade, which was surprising. I expected canned soup, but was happily surprised. Fast delivery is a plus.

I ordered a fish sandwish was given with wonder bread soak with grease. Worst customer service Ever never again!

I’ve ordered from here thru grub hub two or three times before and thought it was okay-​decent but i got the penne a la vodka with chicken this time and i have to say, it was better than i expected. the sauce was a little thick but tasted good and the chicken was not too thick and had a lot of flavor grilled into it.
My boyfriend got the houston burger (comes with egg in the burger) and seemed to like it as well. Only thing that was a negative for me was the fried zucchini was not what i expected, looked like mozzarella sticks and the zucchini was soft and thin… barely any flavor.
Everything else i have ordered in the past was decent.

I usually order because its close and convenient dispite mediocre food. Today was definitely the last time I will ever order. After an hour and change wait for wings I call to inquire about my order and I am told the order was not recieved. However, my card was charged and i recieved confirmation from seamless. When i call a thick accented woman never apologizes just says I will take the order now. When I ask how long the order will now take, she indignantly says «how can I know if I don’t know your order?» Let’s gets this straight… mediocre food, longer than average wait time and now rude phone service. Yea Im definitely cancelling my order and NEVER ORDERING AGAIN. they got 1 star because 0 was not an option. Better places in the area to order from, dont waste your time here.

I’m in New York on business. It can be difficult to find quality food in a hurry without breaking the bank. City place grill delivers a wide selection of food at an affordable price. The food is well above average and the portions are served generously.

This place is solid, everything I have ordered has been great. Ordered again tonight, turkey wrap (always get this) for the fam, and steak sandwich for me (first time).
Portions are generous and quality is above average.
I always order with grubhub, never had an incorrect order, never had a problem with delivery guys. (Not sure how anyone has a problem tbh, but I see a lot of complaining on Unilocal about it, so throwing in my 2 cents.)

Ordered twice from them (chicken wrap and french fries) during my stay at Holiday Inn — they even delivered and the food was amazing and most importantly, healthy.

First experience. First impression:
Used it via grubbub and made a mistake with the phone# info so had to call in the store. The lady that answered was friendly charismatic and had received my order right away.
She was very respectful. The food was awesome. I ordered a gyro deluxe w/​o onions. It was very tasty and the delivery guy was really sweet and respectful.

My husband and I order from City View on a regular basis. One of our favorites is the grilled chicken with melted mozzarella and sautéed spinach with garlic. Their food is fresh, the delivery is faster than a speeding bullet. The owner is very accommodating, if something is wrong with your order, trust me he makes it his business to rectify the situation. We are glad we have a place close by we can order healthy food from. Don’t get me wrong they have some great stay in all weekend and binge eat dishes too! Sweet potato fries, lemon pepper wings and their disco fries, to die for!

I’ve enjoyed there food, each time I’ve ordered… delivery time is decent, I’ve used them more at work so time is big for me and there been very good…

Fast delivery but I can never order Sicilian pizza here again. Definitely not brick oven unless they forgot to blast the temperature. Cheese was half off and every time you bite into the slice more cheese falls off. Need to cook the pizza a little longer. The plain pie was perfect though and the garlic knots.

I have a love hate relationship with City Place Grill. I think the food is good but the ordering can be a hassle almost everytime. Honestly, I have to give myself a pep-​talk before ordering from this place. Ex: repeating order several times, ask for 2 liter of soda get 2 cans of soda, ask that the delivery person brings card reader for cc orders and they dont and the delivery guys asks you to call once they arrive. But like I said, the food is good and almost always arrives in about half an hour.

Ugh, I was really hoping to give City Place a higher rating, but their delivery service was horrendous. We ordered two sandwiches, the sliced steak sandwich and the Texas steak sandwich, a side of onion rings, and the fried calamari appetizer. Food arrived within the delivery window, but THEY FORGOT A SANDWICH!
When calling them to have them fix the order, the woman on the phone had less-​than-​mediocre English skills (though she was incredibly nice) so it was hard for her to understand what the issue was. Once it was resolved, it took another 40 minutes to get the missing sandwich delivered. ANNOYING.
Look, City Place is good for cheap, diner-​style eats. The sandwiches were good (nothing crazy or gourmet, but for what it’s worth they were big and meaty), the fries were lacking salt and pepper, and the calamari and onion rings were decent (most of the time when you order delivery for these things they never taste that great when they arrive because you need to eat them freshly fried).
Would I order again? Maybe, but with all the other diner options in the area I’d probably take into consideration what the reviews say about delivery.

Whenever I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to cook (and that’s a lot, lol) this is my goto place.

I have try pretty much everything in the menu. And let me tell you that everything is delicious just for the pizza it could be a little better. The delivery is always an estimated time but they try to do it within the time given. The order is always correct nothing missing. the gyros in that place are excellent and their burger are really good. thats why is 5 star.

Ordered for a delivery. Amazing Greek salad. Right amount of olive oil and tang from fresh lemon juice. Very fresh and well made. I also ordered it with steak on top — fantastic. Will order again!

Losing a star because I do t know what’s going on with them. They seem to be very unorganized the last 3 orders I’ve placed they keep having to call me back to confirm my address and them ask if I’ve received my order yet. Also, they used to deliver within 20 minutes which was wickedly awesome! Now it’s been 50 minutes and my order still isn’t here. It’s only a gyro, salad n snapple.

Definitely worth every penny spent!
The menu is already very fulfilling with so many FOOD selection, such as a variety of appetizers, different style of sandwiches, wraps, burgers, pasta, special entrees, pizza, salad, all kinds of sides, and desserts. BUT the food is even more fulfilling!
Trust me when I say that the food is DELICIOUS and portions are HUGE. Simply beyond what you’d expect from a fast food place.
