Alfano-Queens Plumbing Parts

I had high hopes for this place since they are supposed to have everything plumbing related. BUT that was not the case. I had an unidentified manufacturer sink part that I brought to them to ask for a replacement. I was so thrilled when the clerk said this is the one you need. I asked what kind it was and how he knew and he told me it’s made by the Home Depot brand. I was impressed and happy.
When I had my contractor install the part, it turned out to be DIFFERENT than the one I had brought in. So I called Alfano’s to ask if it can be returned since they gave me the wrong part. He rudely told me «No returns» and he CLAIMED they are sure they told me that the part may not be exactly the same. That is simply NOT TRUE. I told him they didn’t say that to me for sure. He didn’t care, just told me no returns.
He said it says no returns on the receipt. I said it says «All sales final OR Subject 25% Restocking Fee». I asked him what about the restocking? He said everything except these parts. Again, they NEVER told me this when I was in the store. He was rude. I would not be going there ever again and would not recommend it to anyone else.
There is another plumbing supply parts store on Northern Blvd. near White Castles and they gladly returned a similar part when they incorrectly recommended the wrong part. Their mistake, no big deal.
There’s a right way to do business and a wrong way to do business. There are honest customers out there that prefer to do business with honest businesses. I will take my business ELSEWHERE and recommended you do as well.

I checked their website for a part, very easy to look up. Called the next day. They said they would call back when the part came in. The part came in the next day, the part arrived the following day. It came with tools and instructions and had it installed in five minutes. Nice people great service.
