This place is amazing! I just got a conditioning treatment and blowout done by Kristy, it looks/​feels amazing. Everybody here is incredibly nice and talented! Will definitely be coming back again :)

Erton is awesome .does the best hair cut. I would recommend him to all my friends. He also does great styles.

Basically I am an extremely difficult person when it comes to getting my hair blown out… I have platinum curly hair that is damaged and falling out. Deanna is an amazing hair dresser and blows out my hair perfectly every time. She is a MIRACLE worker with the blow drier and brush. I am SO looking forward to visiting her at new her home base «Social Dry Lounge» as much as I possibly can! If you have hair on your head you should try this place out!!! Cheers!

Love this place!!! Both locations are great. The Irvine location was completely booked, and the girl at the front desk worked with me to get me in at the corona del mar location! Savannah got me in early and finished my hair in a timely manner (needed it done for a trip out of town) super sweet and LOVED my hair! Highly recommend this place! Great price, too. :)

I was afraid to try this place because of some of the bad reviews but I read through the lines and realized they sounded petty and gave it a go. First of all it has such a cool ambience as you walk in and are greeted with a beautiful indoor/​outdoor room with a fireplace and widescreen tv. It was so funky and cool… was I still in CDM???
The employees were all very friendly and I could not believe that they could style my stick straight hair with a brush and a blowdryer. It was so great, I cannot wait to come back again with a friend already dressed and ready to go out and enjoy a glass of wine before our adventure.

I was just in the Social Dry Lounge in CdM for a 4 pm appointment. I got in at 3:40 pm & asked the stylist since I came early, could I use wifi if they had it, to put together an offer real quick. She rolled her eyes at me & said «uh, we do, but our wifi doesn’t really work well. It’s spotty.» The front desk lady, who was very sweet & accommodating, said «you need to get hooked up to wifi? No problem. Here’s the info.» The stylist looked annoyed. I sat down on the couch & proceeded to open up my laptop, when the stylist said «so you want to do that now?» I said «yes. I got here early, so I can do this now. I’ll be ready at 4.» She hesitated & then said «ok» and walked away. Right at 4 pm sharp as I was wrapping up, she came out & started lecturing me on how she had a 5 pm appointment. I told her I needed 1 more minute, I was just wrapping up. She rolled her eyes again. I closed my laptop, walked over to her & said its 4 pm sharp. I specifically got here early to work on this. When I told her I didn’t appreciate her attitude, that she’s been rude to me since I’ve been here, she refuted it & continued to say I was in the wrong & that she was sorry she «hurt my feelings». She was indignant & clearly wasn’t sorry. In the end, she refused to do my hair, no one else could do it (which is funny because she took someone else’s client & therefore there was one person available), so I left without getting seen. I’m appalled at the level of service I received, minus the front desk staff. I’m in the business of customer service selling real estate, and I would never treat my clients the way I was treated this afternoon.

I have been going to social dry lounge for a long time. I have been to irvine location as well and pretty much had my hair blow dried by every stylist and must say they all good .I always leave very happy I like the new location very much and always like to hangout with my friends on the beautiful patio having glass of champagne. I asked if they do any small parties for 5 or 6 girls to come and do their hair and use the out side patio for a while so we can exchange gifts and I found out they have party packages that you can rent the whole salon. I am so happy and not only throwing a party for my best friend baby shower I also renting the salon for my daughter’s sweet sixteen. I love this place.

I come here to get my hair blow dried all the time! I love it here, the décor is adorable and the location is great! They also do full service here I recently found out and I get my hair done by Savannah now, she is great with cut and color!!! I highly recommend coming here!!!

So I just got off a very weird phone call. I called to get a price for up-do’s. This is my local dry bar and I was going to bring 8 bridesmaids to get an up-​do for a wedding. I ask the receptionist the price & she says $ 65. I say ok and it’s the same even if I bring 8 girls? She asks me to hold & tells me the owners right there and she’ll confirm. She gets back on the phone and tells me actually it’s $ 75 per up-​do. I reply why would the price increase $ 10?! I thought we would get a discount if anything! She says because it’s for a special occasion and we have to pin it real tight. Umm… what else do you get an up-​do for besides a SPECIAL OCCASION?! That is some bad business. I go never mind then, I’ll tell them to make their own appointments. They just lost our business. That was a very silly mistake on the owners part and very disappointing.
