In business since 1915, Ehler’s is the kind of place that draws me in when I travel. You can find lots of stuff here; groceries, beer and wine, organic produce and other items, hardware, a deli, tshirts, and a full complement of Melissa and Doug items for the younger members of your traveling party. Prices were reasonable; I enjoyed my visit to Ehler’s!

Classy old general store, in the same family for almost 100 years. A little of this, a little of that. Apparently it becomes much better stocked as the tourist season (summer) gets into full swing. Despite being there «preseason», we found the basic groceries and hardware items we needed. Worth a visit.
