If some girl won’t let you visit this store for whatever reason, you have my permission to Kutter. No not really. Although I have no idea why they awarded the 2022 World Cup to Kutter. OK, it was all about $$$. Or more like, $$$$$$$$$$$$$. I’m a huge fan of this cheese shop close to my house, which makes Yancy’s Fancy cheese which you may have seen in stores in this region. Their Buffalo Wing Cheese is extremely fiery and insanely delicious. The only reason they score 4 rather than 5 is that they’re just too expensive for me! So I rarely shop here at the factory store even though it’s just down the road from my house. But I recommend that everyone swing by, or just pick up some Yancy’s Fancy Buffalo Wing Cheese Curds. Unbelievably hot and so inconceivably delicious! The cheese is pretty too. I can’t think of much«Cuter Cheese.»

This place is awesome. Its on my «must stop» list. Off 90 take exit 48 or 48A. The exit to go to the TA and Flying J. You should probably go bobtail but they have a side lot where they load and unload trucks. Im betting if you plunk down as much moolah as I did to fill your cooler they wont complain much. Awesome cheese and other gift type items for the folks back home.

This is a must stop every time I pass through the area. Yancy’s Fancy is one of the best cheese brands out there and this is their OUTLET! Great prices on the same cheeses you find in the grocery stores. Check out the clearance bin for the best prices. Nothing is expired and honestly I cant figure out why they are nice enough to sell things so cheap here! If there is something you want to try ask at the counter as samples are available as well as packaged or deli sliced cheese. If you are a cheese lover its soooo worth it. Not too far off NYS Thruway. Faves: — Buffalo Wing cheese curds — Steakhouse onion — Maple Bacon — Wasabi Horseradish

Let’s face it — cheese is the best stuff on Earth. Next to butter, that is. Either one served with crisp toast and a hot cup of brisk tea is the perfect pick me up. On today’s visit, I picked up several wedges of cheese to keep on hand for snacking: smoked gouda, habanero and jalapeño, Applewood smoked, steakhouse onion, smoked with bacon, and a triple-X sharp that I hope will be strong enough to corrode my insides. I also picked up a small packet of maple sugar for my husband. I was greeted warmly and with a smile. The shop offers lots of cool food related items such as local honey and jams, fresh eggs, breads, pickles. They also offer local wines and I believe they do wine tastings, as well. If you need a gift for a fellow foodie, you would do well to stop by here and quickly gather a few items for a basket.

This place was so much smaller than we had expected. The staff wasn’t too friendly. They never said hello. We came here to get some Yancy’s Fancy cheese and we probably should have just stopped at a grocery store instead of going out of our way for this.

This place stinks. Seriously. It’s pungently evident you are in cheese factory country when you pull up to Kutter’s Cheese Factory Distributor on route 5 in Pembroke. Inside are the finest cheeses you can buy, cut to order of you like. There are plenty of their pre-packaged cheeses available as well, including the gourmet Yancy’s Fancy line they create that is also available at retail stores like Wegmans. There are a few kitschy things for sale, a small refrigerated section with a few produce items like apples, and another case features maple syrup, honey, the newspaper — that sort of thing, nothing fancy at all. I think a bit of a makeover could greatly improve this fine shop, an improvement that would better reflect the high quality product Kutter’s carries. And hopefully include a vestibule. Customer service is hit or miss, certainly nothing memorable, rather no nonsense. Do stop in, try some samples and go home with a great hunk of cheese.

Disappointing at best. Question/request about my order and shipping time(almost 3 weeks) was replied to by «owner» who simply said: «All orders where do in on the 15th all orders before that have to go out this week. It is posted on every page of the website stating this. Heather Bailey President, Owner Kutter’s Cheese Factory Store» No options, alternatives or even a thank you. And I would have paid a premium to get it sooner. It’s apparent their business is doing so well it doesn’t need to care about how customers feel. In the end — it’s not rocket science — it’s cheese. I’ll take my business elsewhere. UPDATE: After further communication — Heather Baily corrected the situation. I am pleased with her follow-up and appreciate her attention.

Kutter’s is a great artisanal cheese producer in NY. They carry the line of Yancy’s cheeses that I have recently discovered over the years, with the Buffalo Wing, Habanero being one of my faves. If you love aged cheddar, they’re definitely worth checking out.
