My girlfriend and I were on our way to visit her dad and we stumbled upon this place. I had a major sweet tooth and we both thought it would be nice to get something for her dad, so we went in. The establishment is clean and the employees were quick to greet us with a smile. I got a turtle cheesecake for myself, the girlfriend some cookies, and banana pudding for her dad. The cheesecake was very rich and delicious, and they give a very healthy portion. He dad also enjoyed his pudding very much. The kicker is that they were at Soup Sunday the next day as a vendor and remembered us! They asked how we enjoyed what we got and were very friendly at the event as well. Although I’ll admit there’s a couple other bakeries in town I prefer over here, I’ll be back to give them my business again!

Love the cupcakes! Great taste, and the price makes them better than Gigi’s. The sweet potato cupcake was my favorite with the Elvis a close second! Going to pick-up my son’s birthday cake from there soon.

I tried Pat-A-Cake on Saturday and am a fan. It was $ 10 and change for six cupcakes which wins my vote any day. And the sweets were worth double the price. Every last cake was baked to moist perfection. And most of the frostings were the perfect compliment. The traditional chocolate cake with white frosting was perfect. A great taste and probably my favorite. I’m generally not a fan of strawberry but the Strawberry cupcake with hints of blueberry was excellent and I’ll definitely get it again. Grasshopper was very well done — I’m not a big fan of mint but thought my taste was good. The wedding cake was quite good but I think slightly heavy with almond. My cupcake of the day was the Rainbow Sherbet. It looked nice and was rather surprising. Not perfect but I think they can get there. The frosting was very sweet(too sweet by itself) but did taste like sherbet. I really liked the cake but think it was overly flavored. It tasted like a jello cake but was a little heavy with strawberry flavoring. The best part of this one was the aftertaste. On first bite, I was kind of turned off but the aftertaste was good. The flavors really came alive on the second bite. Do try this place. Family-run and very friendly. I’m rooting for them to be a Cordova fixture for years to come.

My husband and I drove by, saw the sign and stopped. Oh my gosh! Banana pudding cheese cake was heavenly. The cupcakes… perfection. Monique, the owner is very friendly and was explaining how she wanted to expand with breads, coffee, and more. also has or is putting in WIFI! Am going back tomorrow to see what new cupcakes await me!

Upgrade because they now offer all new kinds of new goodies(sweet potato cupcakes, anyone?) Everyone I’ve told Pat-A-Cake’s about is now a friend. The woman that owns this business is sooooo smart in other areas of life -…but baking cupcakes is her passion. And it shows. Go. You will love it. **Also, now that I have been to Gigi’s(1 cupcake = $ 3.55OUCH!) I can say these are a far better value at only $ 2/cupcake.
