Ralphies Chicken and Gyro

I love the food here! The lamb gyro over rice is my favorite meal and its always on point. The owner is always very friendly and accommodating. This is the place to go if you want good food and you don’t want to wait!

Here’s how much I liked this place — I joined Unilocal just to review it! Amazing fried chicken and the lamb or chicken city style is the best I’ve ever had outside NYC. Owner is great and the staff is friendly, I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Without a doubt best fried chicken I ever had. Highly recommend giving it a try. Gyro is also good too. Nice and clean establishment.

First time was real good then the 3 other times after it went continuously down hill. Chicken wings first time were big and meaty then each time after there were 2 or 3 big wings and the rest were small bar sized wings. The fried chicken the first time was good a juicy and the last time we got it we asked for mostly white meat in the six piece we ordered but got practically all dark meat .They gave us 9 instead of 6 I guess they didn’t have white meat but it was real dry and they never told us they were either out of white meat or giving us practically all dark meat.

This place is a hidden gem on Long Island. The service and management is always friendly, warm and welcoming. The concept is unique in that you are getting restaurant quality food at an incredible price and in a laid back atmosphere. The menu is diverse with a large range of food.
If one were to consider this place ‘fast food’ then it is certainly the pinnacle of any fast food establishment. The food is exceptional. The rice is unquestionably the best rice I’ve had anywhere, spiced and cooked in a league of its own. Another highlight is the special white sauce served with most of the food; another feature that is in a league of its own, you won’t find anything like it anywhere else, put the sauce on anything and it enhances it.
I can’t say enough good things about Ralphie’s Chicken & Gyro. It is my favorite place to eat on the island, where you are treated like family and served like a king.
