Nails Profession & Spa

This used to be a small shop in the Publix strip center. They recently took over the space next to them to expand so now it’s very large nail salon. I was impressed with the new modern look, but that’s about it.
Employees speak limited English, some do not speak English at all. It took three employees to finially understand that I was simply asking where the ladies room was located. Additionally, I had to explain how I wanted my nails done to one tech and then she had to translate this information to the tech doing my nails. Very frustrating, especially since my nail tech was unable to comprehend anything I said. I was getting so aggravated, I considered leaving. I stuck it out, but I left knowing that I would never return.
I had a simple manicure with acrylic applied to one nail. My nails are my own, but as they break, I have acrylic applied until my nail grows out. At Venetian, I am in and out in thirty minutes. Here, it took well over an hour. I always stick with Venetian and stopping in here the other night was random. I was in the plaza, saw the salon and just walked in. Never again.
I thought the salon was clean and everything is new. Unfortunately, it would be very hard for me to believe the man who did my nails was licensed. He did such a bad job, I went to Venetian the following day to have my nails redone. His loud open mouth gum chewing and popping clearly annoyed the you know what out of me. Truly classless and highly unprofessional.
Based upon my one visit, I can not and will not recommend this place to anyone. As for me, I will not deviate from Venetian again.

Contrary to the other reviews, I’ve never had a bad experience here. The workers always greet me and are always very friendly upon arrival.
They have soo many colors to choose from which I love because I hate having to bring my own colors in. They always do my nails how I ask and charge me accordingly.

Use to be my very fav nail place until my toes started looking yellow and my cuticles started looking crazy as well. notice they never change there gear after each person that sits down. That’s a very serious health risk HIV is live and well and a bit of blood from the last Infected person will scar you for life, please ask for them to use new utensils. When u sit in there seat. I can’t lie some of them do have attitudes.

CALL THEM OUT IF THEY PROVIDE HORRIBLE SERVICE WITH NIGHTMARISH OWNERS: I visited this nail «spa» a week ago and walk away with an «infected finger nail.» While getting a basic manicure the nail tech was rushing (not sure why the place was empty) and and SHE CUT ME. I was bleeding all over, instead of apologizing she got an attitude because she felt it was not that serous. I had to ASK HER to out some alcohol on my wound. She then proceeded as though my nail was not still bleeding, I asked for a manager and that’s when things got even worse. The owners refused to speak with me and pretended to NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. I had been there before and knew who they were and had spoken English with them. I WAS ASTONISHED at the behavior of the owners. I basically was threatened by the associate and had to call the police for my protection — this would be comical if it wasn’t serious. This business only cares about the money — just the money. I will never give them not one more dime of my money and I hope you don’t either for your safety.
