Wow what a great place! I had the Catch of the Day and it was outstanding. The tomato sauce served with the bread is the best I have ever had. Service was friendly and warm. Couldn’t ask for a better place.

Ate here for the second time and will return. Clams Casino for an antipasto and would order it again. Perfect for the two of us. Soup and salad followed; by the time the main course arrived we were full and anxiously awaiting our Veal Parmigiana and chicken Cacciatore. portions are large and flavorful. All this food is followed by dessert Highly recommend this restaurant. The service is excellent and the food delicious. Well worth a try. We will return.

We celebrated Mom’s 100th birthday here with 35 family members… Service was great, Food was fantastic… and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Everyone was pleased with the meal and service. We frequent here often, so it was a no brainer for Mom’s celebration!

The worst food ever! It was like eating a frozen banquet dinner from Walmart! Pasta thrown on a plate with dribbled sauce and breaded veal with melted cheese. Not sure where all the other great reviews came from!

Best penne alla vodka I’ve had! Al dente just how I like it. Large portions, great service and relaxing atmosphere.

Adorable old school Italian restaurant. Lots of retirees. Food was ok but it was fun to watch the little Italian dude running around talking to everyone :)

This is a very nice neighborhood Italian restaurant that has real cloth tablecloths and napkins to make it a bit more upscale. The food is basic but good and reasonably priced. The shrimp and veal parmigiana were basic but good as was the spaghetti and meatballs. The seasonings are very mild and what you’d expect from a restaurant that caters to the older population that lives in this neighborhood. As an example, the Caesar salad that came with our meal had no anchovies and very little garlic, and benefited from a little added salt at the table. The same statement would apply to the entrees as well. The service was good and the staff very polite. A tip of the hat to the maitre d for getting us in without a reservation on a Saturday night. By the time we left there wasn’t an empty table in the house, a testament to how well liked this establishment is by its regular patrons. In summary, good, basic American-style Italian food in a very nice setting at a reasonable price.

I ordered the Grouper Francaise which was fantastic! We also ordered the chicken parmigiana which was ok, and the shrimp scampi-Amazing! The bread they serve with their homemade sauce was addictive. I’d read that the sauce had eggplant which I hate but still wanted to give it a try. Well guess who loved it? Me! It was sooo good. Service was very hospitable and friendly I felt as if we were the only ones there the way the whole staff treated us, no complaints. We ordered a bottle of their bubbly moscato which is now a new favorite for me. Also, couldn’t skimp on dessert. The chocolate cake which looked awesome tasted a little to dry for my taste otherwise no complaints about our meal. I’d definitely go back again as there were a few dishes I’d like to try in the future. It’s in a strip mall on the outer part of the mall facing University drive. Never would’ve thought to look here for a new dinner place, thank goodness for Unilocal

Their early bird dinner special cannot be beat! You get a huge entrée(even before eating the rest of the items, the portion is very large), garlic bread with a fresh tomato-based dipping sauce, Caesar salad, soup, dessert, and coffee. Wow! The garlic bread is the best I’ve ever tasted. The dipping sauce is exceptional and is made with tomatoes, onions, and maybe eggplant or some other veggies. The chicken parmigiana is enough for two or three meals. The minestrone soup is phenomenal and filled with veggies. The lemon cake is really good but the tiramisu did it for me. The décor is very cozy and homely. The place just radiates home-cooked meals. We were by far the youngest people in the restaurant, which was awkward, but I loved this little gem of a restaurant. The people next to us got some seafood dishes and I can’t wait to try that next time!

Very nice atmosphere, small and cozy. Staff are very nice and they checked back with us frequently. House chardonnay was surprisingly nice, smooth and not bitter. Very fresh Salad served family style in an earthy wooden bowl. Bread served with a tomato eggplant infused dip was a great surprise Music was a bit loud, making it a challenge to converse across the table. Chicken Parmesan was good but not great. Was a very thin slice, too thin for my preference. Angel hair primavera was just average as it was bland. Parmesan cheese was out of a shaker and not fresh grated. At these prices would expect fresh.

Stopped in for a quick bite while coming back from airport. Restaurant was super quiet for a Thursday night. Flavor a were good. I had the 3-Cheese Gnocchi that were like pillows of cheesiness and super fresh. They start your meal with a chilled caponata and toasted Italian bread with garlic and olive oil. It was a nice start to the meal and hit the spot after a long day of traveling.

My aunt lives nearby in Tamarac and she chose this restaurant for her birthday celebration. It was a great choice. If you get there before 6:30(as we did since it was her 75th birthday we were celebrating. Ha!) it is happy hour. They add soup, salad and dessert to your entrée. The salads are either house or caeser, both of which are served family style. I didn’t care that much for the caeser dressing, but the house one was good with lots of veggies. The soup was great, as was the garlic bread with dipping sauce that was served as soon as we sat down. The bread portions were very generous. For dinner I ordered the fettuccine sapphire which is chicken, spinach, sun dried tomatoes and garlic. It was delicious, with a very generous amount of all the toppings. Two meals worth, easily, especially with the extras. My daughter wanted lasagna. We couldn’t get a kids size of it, but since I knew she would want all the early bird extras, it wasn’t to bad ordering the $ 17 dinner. The lasagna was fantastic, with a lot of meat and perfectly melted cheese. The dessert selection was huge, and included ice cream, cheesecake, cannoli, apple pie, chocolate velvet cake and lemon crumb cake. The daughter ordered the lemon crumb, which was light and lemony. I got the chocolate velvet, which was a very mellow chocolate taste. It was good, but if you are expecting a rich chocolate taste, this is not it. Service was great, with everyone being attentive and friendly. Wish they were closer to us!

Very nice Italian restaurant in Coral Springs. Recommended by an old friend. Nice welcome. Familiar, simple, menu with nice specials offered(though no Prices were mentioned; I believe this turns folks off from ordering a special). Fresh, crispy, well-dressed Caesar salad. Entrees greatly enjoyed included three veal dishes, an eggplant, and pasta. Very tasty, nice-size, served hot and aromatic. Room is a bit noisy. This NYC guy felt at home.

When visiting Ft Lauderdale recently, we were in the mood for really authentic Italian food and Marola’s was recommended to us. It was close by to where we were staying and given that it was a Tuesday night, we walked right in without a reservation. Our biggest mistake was not calling ahead and requesting the veal chop which many Unilocalers here were raving about. By the time we arrived at 7 pm, there were no more veal chops to be had and that was greatly disappointing. While the service was not rave worthy the food was remarkably good. I started out with a cup of delicious pasta fagiole and my husband had the minestrone — both tasted homemade and were really excellent. We then were served an excellent garlicky Caesar salad(but they forgot the croutons, according to the photos I saw on Unilocal) and equally as delicious garlic bread. My husband had the Veal Pizzaiolla, which he proclaimed to be quite good, despite being disappointed by not getting the aforementioned veal chop! I had a pasta dish with fresh clams and red sauce called,(I think) Clams Posillipo. Also very very good and too large to finish. I did manage to squeeze in a luscious dessert of a little heart shaped chocolate mousse pie with chocolate cookie crust and enrobed in thick chocolate ganache. This dessert was truly heavenly. I’m leaving four stars for the yummy food but holding one back because the service was not great, our waitress knew not what the various dishes were, the croutons were left out of the Caesar salad, and we waited a LONG time before anyone came over to take drink and food orders, although the restaurant was not at all crowded. Nonetheless, if I’m back I FL again, I will return to Marola’s because the food is good and fairly reasonable. But I will call ahead and reserve the veal chop!

Absolutely delicious meal! All of our Meals were fresh and hot, so flavorful! The Caesar salad perfect and crisp! The eggplant tapenade paired perfectly with their garlic bread slices! Dessert was amazing – chocolate fudge cake with a layer of mousse wrapped in a heart shaped ganache!

As good as everyone says. Ask the waiter if you don’t see what you want. The Veal Marsala was very good and the mussels were even better. We split the cannoli, and it was a treat. And you can’t fault the house wines. Best house pour I’ve had in a long time.

Convinced my friends out here in Coral Springs to try this restaurant when we couldn’t get into their fave French Restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise for all of us to discover this neighborhood gem. Everything is superb including the service. This place is definitely a MUST to be added in the regular restaurant«go to» list.

What an amazing hidden gem this place is! Trolling around on Unilocal,I was desperately craving some traditional Italian cuisine and I was definitely making that right choice by coming here. It’s a cute little restaurant located in a strip mall(shocker, I know). The staff works in tandem with each other. We had our main waiter who was knowledgable about the food and gave amazing recommendations and then multiple people checked in on us and brought us refills. Each pasta dish comes with garlic bread and Caesar salad. I would come here for the salad alone. Very fresh lettuce and the dressing wasn’t too heavy. And of course they brought the Parmesan cheese to dowse it with. The garlic bread was amazing too. I could have ate the loaf myself. I ordered the lasagna which probably was the best tasting lasagna I have ever tried. The meat, the cheeses, the noodles and the sauce were all out of this world! It comes in the large baking dish and the cheese is just bubbling over– ah, it’s kind of epic when you take that first bite. I highly– highly recommend this place if you’re craving a great Italian experience. My meal(including drink) was $ 20. I thought it was a great buy considering the food, service and quantity. Go there now!

Been here 3 times, on different days. LOVE this place. Definite hidden gem in coral Springs. Small very cozy Italian restaurant. They start off by telling you the special of the day, then provide garlic bread with tomato sauce on the side, then Caesar salad with amazing seasoned croutons. They are all complimentary. I ordered penne a la vodka with chicken when I ate here for the first time and liked it so much that’s the only thing I order everytime I come here! My family had veal, stuffed porkchop, some fish, and bone marrow. I have never ate at a restaurant or Italian restaurant where the taste was so incredibly rich in flavor. From the exact words from my dad«I’ve never appreciated Italian food like this much». It was amazing. The manager there named Guy recognizes me and my family and remembered our previous order even though we have only been here 3 times. He is very nice and knowledgeable, has a Italian accent as well! We tried the chocolate cake and cannoli for dessert. It was creamy and delicious cannoli. Though I can be stingy and picky, I am very happy to say that even though this place is $ 12+ price, this place is worth the money absolutely! It’s actually my best Italian restaurant in my opinion when it comes to taste! True authenticity. Do yourself a favor and check this out. Will continue to bring people here!
