Great food as always, fresh daily soup specials were on point. We had the corn soup which was not cream based and was amazing. Falafel sheer are the best in the area of not Broward. The great food is complimented well with exceptional service. If we could give this place 6 stars we would.

Definitely a place to bring a tourist, friends, family, girlfriend, boyfriend, or just grab some food to go or hang out. This should be on the top 20 places to eat at in the Tri County are. 1. Happy hour every day from 4pm-7pm– everything half off, included bottles of wine 2. Thursday night is ladies night– Ladies drink free house wine all night(it does get crazy packed and there aren’t reservations so keep that in mind) 3. Tuesday is Burger day — cooked how you want 4. Saturday and Sunday– bottomless mimosas with a $ 15 entrée 5. Cauliflower is to die for. Sweet and a little bit of spice with an Asian feel to it 6. Turkey meatballs(comes 4 meatballs) are fantastic! 7. Mussels and scallops(when available) are the best I’ve ever had 8. They change the soups(I want to say daily but not sure) often or every other day or so 9. The food is vegan friendly, gluten free, and simply delicious 10. The portions are just right, you should be satisfied and depending what you order, you can be extremely full — this isn’t abuela’s kitchen where they give you a pound of rice and a pound of chicken — if you want more food, order more food. If you leave hungry– that’s your 11. It’s a small space so the owner makes the restaurant dark so that it gives a secluded and sensual environment 12. The desserts are amazing! I always struggle to decide what I want because I want it all. Everything is delicious and guilty free. Most people order 1 lb of hummus to go and once you try it, you will understand why Side note: please read the menu. I’ve been at the restaurant and saw a guy complaining that the Israeli salad only had cucumber, tomatoes, and onions. I was shocked he was complaining since it clearly says on the menu what it contains(which is cucumber, tomatoes, and onions). If you want something else, add it

A great find. Fabulous Mediterranean food with great taste and value for the money. The Sharwarma is great and the hummus wonderful. The owners Lauren and Ilan make it such a nice family atmosphere. Great service and value keeps me coming back over and over.

Just left Falafel Bistro and since I don’t Unilocal often, I wanted to make sure I didn’t forget. A New York vegan in Florida is hard pressed to find quality vegan food, let alone authentic and delicious Israeli food and lovely staff. We ordered a ton of food, drank some drinks, chatted with the gracious owner and had an all around wonderful experience. The vegan kebabs were unique and amazing. The hummus and falafel were fresh, properly spiced and clearly Israeli. The vegan date and cashew crêpe was mind blowing. It was such a great experience and a beacon for vegans in this area. As a side note — I was with my parents who are not vegan and they loved it too.

Beautiful restaurant, more like a lounge. I was lusting after falafel, hummus, tabouli, babaganoush, and lentil soup. Lucky for us there was lentil soup. It was very good. We got a falafel platter and a pine nut falafel platter, Israeli salad(no tabouli) and babaganoush. We also ordered a portabello hummus which was yummy. It was good food(not great, but quite good), a lovely place to be, a nice vibe, and good service. All in all, a very nice experience. We probably have a pretty high standard for middle eastern food as I grew up with it and it’s my favourite food to make(and EAT). Al Salam in Sunrise has remarkably flavourful salads and I’ve never had any better — like fattoush(mmmm sumac), tabouli, etc. and lovely ful madames and fantastic house-made sundried tomato hot sauce. But, I would say this place’s falafel is better than theirs and not as good as Hollywood’s pita pockets — which is #1 in my book(for falafel). If I could merge those three… lol

Average place to stop for a quick bite. A simple mom and pop spot with food flavors and presentation like you would get at home. The best thing about this place is the large selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options clearly marked on the menu. I would take friends who are vegan here just because of the variety!

This is for sure one of the best restaurants in the immediate area! The food is sooooo good. The ambiance is quaint, but sophisticated. The service is friendly and prompt. My advice is to go with people that like to share because there are so many great options. And if you are going with someone that doesn’t like to share, you may want to reconsider why you are spending time with someone so selfish(jk, kinda). Tip 1: get the Sauteed Cauliflower. It’s got a bit of spice, but the sauce is delicious(almost has an Asian flare to it). Tip 2: get the brussel sprouts. If you haven’t caught on to this trendy food yet, you’re missing out. Tip 3: stop on the way home and get some Febreeze if you listened to tips 1 and 2 ;) Tip 4: happy hour is between 4−7pm and EVERYTHING boozy is half off. Even bottles of wine. Cheers to that! Tip 5: Tuesday is $ 10 burger night and the only night you can get the portabella burger, which is my new favorite thing FB offers. Pair that with the happy hour and you got yourself a perfect weeknight dinner. Tip 6: BREADPUDDINGDESSERT. Trust me. I’ve tasted about 80% of the menu and can tell you I’ve loved it all and the only thing I have seen anyone dislike is the angus beef — it just wasn’t what was expected. Also, if you like wine, go on Thursday night and be ready to drink. Complimentary glasses of red and/or white with purchase of food. Ideal girls night out idea :) No reservations, so if you really hate waiting go Mon-Wed or get there pre 6pm for dinner.

So much more than Falafel! For years, I drove past their sign on the Sawgrass not knowing what to expect and it’s now a weekly favorite. This family owned restaurant brings authentic Israeli/Mediterranean recipes with a very enlightened twist. The best falafel, hummus and soups. They have endless gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options too.

So my daughter brought up that she wanted hummus earlier in the day so decided it was a great time to try this place out. I seriously could walk here it’s so close and not quite sure why we haven’t stopped by sooner. She decided not to come with us so my husband and I could go celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary but was instructed to bring home lots of goodies. It’s tucked all the way in the back of the strip mall and I mean we didn’t get there until around 9pm but the parking lot was quiet. I thought to myself as we walked up, it’s so quiet for a Saturday night but when we opened the doors, it was pretty packed inside. We ended up sitting at a 2-top which wasn’t too smart since we ordered like we were eating for 6. I started with a nice big glass of Sangria. The fruit was nicely infused and it was delicious. We ordered the brussel sprouts, the turkey meatballs, and the lobster ravioli for appetizers(which we packed up half of each to take home to the sassy lady at home). The brussel sprouts was both of our favorite dish from here and the hubby doesn’t typically like brussel sprouts(or any type of veggie). Perfectly roasted and the balsamic glaze gave the dish the extra sweetness/acidity needed to make me drool as I write this review. The turkey meatballs were excellent as well. My husband did not really like the lobster ravioli but I really enjoyed it. Typical Italian boy just can’t deviate from his Italian palate. The pear walnut cream sauce was a bit on the sweet side and not expected so it was surprising at first but not a bad surprise. I ordered the Shakshuka with lamb & angus beef and it was so delicious… and even better the next morning for breakfast. So much flavor packed into this dish. The Shakshuka comes with hummus, pita, and Israeli Salad. The hummus was nice and creamy and flavorful. The Israeli salad on the other hand was bland. The husband ended up getting the scallop special which came with cousous and asparagus. Everything we had was delicious. The only thing we didn’t enjoy were the salads(both house and Israeli). They were just average when you compare to everything else we ate. So food was great but why not 5 stars. With all of the food we ordered and sitting at a small table, it was great that things came out quickly but we did not have any room to put all of the food. The food comes out nicely plated but there is more plate than food and one dish took up the entire table. We literally took a bite of each appetizer and luckily had to pack it up, but if we actually wanted to enjoy the food further, it would have been difficult to do so. There really was no time to enjoy the appetizers before our entrees came out. Also, it was extra hot in the restaurant. I think I enjoyed the food when I got home more than I actually did at the restaurant. I literally was sticking to my seat… not a good feeling! The restaurant was also much darker than I prefer for dining. It was a bit difficult to see what I was eating. Darker venues are much better for drinking and mingling. I will definitely come back and take advantage of their happy hour specials next time.

Our experience at your restaurant kicked off an amazing New Years Eve! My sister and I came here for the first time. The atmosphere was great. The drink and food menus were eclectic, extensive, and diverse. The vegetable hummus entrée was delish and the brussel sprouts were to die for. Also, our waiter was great and the owner/chef was super nice! We’ll definitely be returning. FYI, Great place to go on a date or before a concert at the BB&T! (Also, I think the falafels were lucky or something because shortly after dinner, Billy Joel gave us free front row stage seats at his concert and I caught his pick and shook his hand!)

First let me start off and say that it is Christmas Eve Wednesday 2015, and my buddy and I decided to eat something Greek/Mediterranean and we Unilocaled this place and came here. What an awesome decision!!! The restaurant had a warm modern yet cozy feel .The lights were dim with a soft sound of Buddha bar relaxing type music. Ok starting with the service we were totally impressed beyond belief. Our waitress was Abigail and she was very helpful and patient with us and the other servers that came to our table and checked on us as well were very pleasant and nice. We ordered the cheese course for our appetizer which was great. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with white rice and my buddy ordered the Shawarma platter and both dishes were awesome. The meat was fresh and not dry, major points for that. Abigail recommended a desert which I already forgot what it was and we ordered it to go because we ate so much .lol. The owners came and introduced themselves and they even checked up on us which was nice they explained their Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays and it sounds good, as well as their Burger Tuesday nights and Thursday ladies night I believe with an 80’s twist. We definitely will be back to try the Brunch. Thank you for for your kind service, that is what will keep us coming back for more . My only pet peeve I had is boxing up my own leftovers, I hate doing that with a passion. Lol.

Food just doesn’t get any better anyplace else than it is here. No matter what we order, everything is delicious and perfect. Tonight, we had the stuffed vine leaves for an appetizer and I had the portobello mushroom burger while my husband had the angus burder. He said this burger was the best he’s had is so long he couldn’t remember. My shroom burger was amazing, too. You have to keep hold of them or they fall apart. The piece d’ resistance was the dessert of coconut crème brûlée. Words just fail me on how great this is! Please visit here and do it often!

I don’t live in South Florida anymore but whenever I’m in the area I make it a point to visit Falafel Bistro. The menu keeps evolving, it’s always so hard to choose. I bring my friends and family here, it’s great for everyone. I always order a falafel hummus plate for the table to start. I recommend always asking for soup samples, but my favorites are lentil and white bean. For lunch all the wraps are amazing, comes with a salad: I alway pick the quinoa but Israeli is good too. For dinner I recommend trying the fish special, it’s a lot of food, appetizer hummus & pita, a salad, and a glass of wine. Portion are huge! The owner is the nicest guy. Always creating new and delicious items for his specials.

Oh my goodness, I have been meaning to review this for forever and it does not disappoint. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best places I’ve ever dined at. Customer service was A-OK and I took advantage of the Unilocal check in for some free wine :) YUM. She had to ask her manager to double check so maybe it doesn’t happen often but if you check in and show them the deal, they give it to you. I was absolutely stuffed. The portions are huge and delicious. I believe I had the lamb platter which came with rice, lamb and veggies. I hate veggies, but this is the kind of restaurant where it takes food you don’t think you’ll like and makes it your new favorite. I couldn’t stop eating and legitimately was sad that I couldn’t finish. Of course, I opted for a box but it was still hard knowing I was too full to finish :( It’s just such a knockout because not only does the food TASTE amazing and come out fresh, but it LOOKS amazing too. I was a sucker for the presentation of the food. When it looks just as good as it tastes(and especially not vice versa… I’m looking at you, Burger King commercials! *cough cough*), it satisfies all of the senses. I honestly feel this is one of the best meals I’ve had and I eat a LOT. I’ve never really had mediterranean food but if it all tastes as good as this did, sign me up! This is a MUST.

I came for dinner with my husband and another couple. I really enjoyed eating here. They have a nice size menu with anything from vegetarian dishes to meat. We ordered two appetizers. One was a spicy cauliflower dish and the other was a cheese platter. Both were delicious. For dinner I ordered a falafel platter. I feel like it would have made a better appetizer. My dish was falafel and hummus. They also have gluten free options so my pita was gluten free. Their falafel is great. My husband had a chicken pita and said the chicken was good. I thought the food was quality. They have a lot of selections in the menu. I would love to eat here again.

My boyfriend and I went here for his Birthday Celebration. We are very into mediterranean food so I was happy to so there was a fancier restaurant with good reviews that served Mediterranean food. To start, we ordered the veggie roasted eggplant. It was roasted eggplant in a hummus type sauce served with chopped tomatoes and pita. The eggplant was really good and filling. My boyfriend ordered the Falafel wrap, which was good, BUT they cut the wrap into four pieces that made it pretty much impossible to eat. I had to order an extra order of pita for him to make his own sandwiches. The waiter looked at me like I was insane but its pretty illogical to cut an already messy wrap into small slivers. It was served with a cold quinoa salad. This was good but a little bland. I ordered the Portobello Hummus Platter that came with pita and falafel. It was really delicious and a large portion. I loved their falafel and hummus. The portobello had really interesting spices in it and wasn’t over powering. Everything worked nicely together. Besides my boyfriend having to take apart his food and make his own meal, which was annoying because of the price, we both thought the food was really good. The only problems is the price for what you’re getting and the service. We had a younger waiter that really did not care and left a few tables waiting for food. Although one of the waiters was very attentive. They do not give off a friendly vibe– no welcome, no goodbye, little attention.
