East Fusion Buffet

Went to the Coral Springs location and the note on the door said that they moved to Federal Highway, Deerfield.
I could never understand how the owner could sustain the cost for the huge square feet but was never quite at capacity.
I’m glad they relocated, it is an outstanding buffet.

I have a confession to make, I have eaten here twice, and I did not check in either time because I was on a diet and didn’t want my boyfriend to see me check in and question my will power… cheat days are allowed.
The main reason I give four stars is that this buffet has everything. They have your classic Americanized Chinese fare, they have sushi, and they have dim sum. They also offer oysters, peel and eat shrimp, and crab legs. I very much enjoyed the shrimp (as I always do) and the crab legs were larger than I expected for snow crab at a buffet. They also offer pizza… I kept telling my brother to try it, but he said it’s probably just for kids lol.
I absolutely loved the dim sum. To be fair I’ve probably never had good authentic Chinese dim sum, just a dumpling here and there, but I love anything in a bun or a dumpling. They probably have about 10 different dim sum choices here, and I don’t think there were any I disliked, so I should really expand my horizons and go to a full on dim sum restaurant, but for now I’m glad the buffet introduced me to more than just pork and shrimp dumplings. I loved the tofu skin and the sticky rice ball. My second visit here I ate almost exclusively dim sum.
As the sushi goes, it’s not world class by any means, but it is better than Publix and there are a few basic choices. I took a few pieces here and there to break up the meal and was happy with what I ate.
For the Chinese food selection the food is about what you would expect for a chinese buffet, but everything is hot and fresh and the staff kept everything very clean. I really enjoyed the crab rangoon… perfectly fried.
While I admit, this is a buffet, there isn’t anything amazing going on here culinarily, but the prices are great for the variety (less than Shinju, and they still have the sushi, though the selection is not quite as vast). The staff was friendly and the ambiance here is kind of nice, there is a fountain at the entrance.

After reading the reviews on here I wasn’t sure what to expect but I figured I’d give it a try anyways. In all honesty, it was just okay. The food is really hit-​or-​miss. Some things were good, some were terrible. Some things were in the middle, and some tasted like they *would be* good… if they weren’t luke-​warm or cold from being left out too long. I probably wouldn’t go back honestly, there are just much better restaurants in the area.

Halfway thru meal we had a visitor run across the table. Rather than make a big scene we call waitress n she killed the cockroach. Then we went to drink the hot tea we ordered n it had a strong bleach odor n taste so we left n the owner gave us a 10% discount after we told him we would never be back. He didn’t care bout the roach.

Went here with 7 other family members for a fun little dinner. We have eaten at a few buffets of this style and this is one of the weakest we’ve been to. This was one of the only times that my 8 and 12 year old nephews have actually said they didn’t want to eat the food they took from the buffet. The meats are not meaty (many of the spare ribs were barely more than bones) and you can tell that the quality of the meat is very low. Usually I don’t mind if this happens if it still has great flavor but everything was bland. Sushi was tiny and again the shrimp looked like baby shrimp. They had dim sum as well which was surprising but even the dim sum was weak. The shrimp again were tiny and two of the shrimp dim sum fell apart before reaching my plate. Some of the soups were decent except for the more exotic ones like sweet and sour, etc which never really had the right flavors. Even the dessert selection was sub par with dry cakes that even an 8 year old passed on. On a positive note my family loved the music.

Without fail, every time we go there, the food is old and dried up! After about 5 chances, we’ve decided never again!

The selection is pretty good, better than many buffets I been to. It sticks to Asian fusion rather than throwing in American dishes like the other buffets. The only thing I did not like was how the shrimp paste taste, it was hard. The egg drop soup didn’t taste all that good either. As well as the lo mein. But everything else was delicious. :)

Very good selection of dim sum items and the quality is very good for a buffet place! The chive and shrimp dumplings, the sticky rice, and fried shrimp balls were my faves!
They also have sushi and a hibachi grill making your dishes right in front of you. The egg custard was pretty damn good too. Came out nice and warm and the pastry was very buttery and flakey and the filling was super sweet. Definitely had more sugar instead of egg in the filling! It might be hard to eat a regular egg tart now. The sugar was pretty addictive.
I believe the weekend lunch was $ 11 which is awesome for the selection you get at an all you can eat buffet. They also have Chinese dishes, American dishes, a cold seafood section, and plenty of desserts. Check them out! Go ahead and binge eat until you ache and can’t look at yourself in the mirror! It’s the only way to eat at buffets!

A lower quality buffet. Food can be off at times. I remember the sushi being a little funky. Do i want to go back? No not really, especially since Shinju’s is purtty amazing!
I would give it props for being SO big with a lot of choices. Just i came for the sushi and i was unsatisfied.

Nice large restaurant with many food choices. Most were good, but some were just OK at best. The Sushi was good and they had a beef self carving station where the beef was very good. It was clean and the service was good. It may not be my first choice, but I will return to eat there.

The quality of the food at this buffet is pretty good. Almost everything I ate was very tasty and well cooked. I like their variety of dimsum and desserts available. One thing that stood out is their rice noodles. Very tasty! When you leave the restaurant, you don’t have a strong msg taste in your mouth.
This place also have very nice servers. Our plates are always cleaned up right away. The floor is very clean. I see the waitress cleaning every single thing off the floor. Her name was Sophia. She has a very nice smile the whole time.
Price was reasonable. I went there on a Saturday afternoon and it was 11 dollars per person. I will go back again!

The thing about East Fusion is it has a massive amount of items. Some were very good, some not as good. It seems impossible to keep that much food fresh, but they do a pretty good job, considering.
Seafood was above expectations. Oysters, shrimp and clams were all fresh. Soups and Sashimi were above average. Seafood is what pushed me from a 3 to a 4. Dim Sum was also a surprise and was decent quality. Good fruit for dessert
What more can you ask for $ 13.99? I’ll be back some weekend for lobster! (16.99)

Standard chinese buffet plus. More variety and good compared to most. Then, add the sushi! They have a nice variety, for a buffet. Each one I tried was good! Usually, buffet sushi is questionable. This one, I would return to again, if in the area. I was not disappointed. And, the price is reasonable. Enjoy.

This was my third trip to East Fusion Buffet for lunch. A few months ago they raised their weekday lunch price from $ 7.95 to $ 8.95 ($ 9.55 with tax). On the plus side its a big beautiful restaurant with hundreds of choices. It’s never crowded so you can usually serve yourself without worrying about pushy people at the buffet. [The fact that it’s never crowded should have actually been a warning.]
As most people do at a Chinese buffet I put a little bit of everything on my plate. The problem was everything was horrible. The Cheese Mussels, Pepper Steak, Boneless Spareribs, Thai Chicken and just about everything I ate was so grizzly, fatty or hard that I had to spit it out into a napkin. They overcook their seafood, they don’t trim their meats well enough, they don’t marinate their food long enough and they must use really low quality food. The only think I could eat was the Shrimp In Lobster Sauce which was still just overcooked shrimp in hot water, but at least I could swallow it. Even the dumplings were rubbery and I ended up cutting them open and just eating the filling.
I believe the owners have other (traditional) Chinese restaurants and use this buffet as a «clearing house» for their lower quality food. You can’t really complain to management because there’s nothing to send back you would just throw out what you don’t like and try other things (which are probably just as bad). So now with the price increase you end up paying (with tip) $ 11 for a bad lunch.
The other two times I was there it was not as bad, so maybe they have a new chef or there cutting back on food costs. I might give it a few months and try again but I doubt it.

Interesting Place.
Went here for a baby shower and it was pretty good. They had so many selections of food that I had a hard time making a decision on what to put on my plate. Besides the regular Chinese Buffet food, they were serving Dim Sum. The Steamed Pork and Shrimp Buns were very tasty. I could go on and on about all the items they have, but they are way to many to list. I can easily say that there are at least 50 items to choose from. Now I’m rating this place as a buffet not as gourmet chinese food or even a great sushi restaurant because it’s not. As a Buffett this joint is the real deal.
If you are looking to eat a lot of food for a decent price I highly recommend this place. Remember to tell the Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

Went to the Sunday lunch buffet. The restaurant was very bright, clean and spacious. There was a large selection of very tasty foods followed by an excellent selection of pastries, fruit and ice-cream.Service was promt and cheerful.
I would have given 5 stars if the bathrooms weren’t so disgusting.

It’s a pretty large buffet and I only go for the salt and pepper crabs. I havent been there in a while but I recently made a trip back. The food is just OK buffet foods but they do carry a lot more than other buffets. You can choose from sushi, hibachi, dim sum, seafood, chinese, and much more. They do have few dishes that i enjoy like the salt and pepper whole shrimp, the sauteed clams, and crabs. Their sodas, lemonades, and juices all taste really funny. Stick to the hot tea.
I was a little annoyed with the people who worked there because after asking me how old my child was for children’s pricing, they came up to ask again! Then, we had an oyster which was on the buffet and was scolded by the lady clearing away the used plates saying that the oysters were for dinner only. We were still eating almost at the end of the lunch. I didnt know that we couldn’t eat the oysters.

The buffet offerings here are large but the quality is low.
This restaurant is quite large and always is crowded, but I was not too impressed with the quality. Sure there was tons of selections, tons of variety, etc. but it was more like a high school cafeteria than a cruise ship buffet.
However, the price was reasonable and if you are able super hungry, this may be what you are looking for.
