Looks like this place closed. Wings were a little too loaded with sauce, pretty blah experience. As we thought, it would and did not last.

Curiosity led me to this place. I stopped by for lunch with a friend and shared 6 mild wings and a chicken quesadilla. The wings were not spicy at all which sucked but they were crispy and tasty. However the quesadilla was pretty delicious! it had plenty of shredded chicken, rice, and lots of cheese with a side of lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, re fried bean and sour cream. When we arrived the place was empty but soon got packed. The service was ok, nothing spectacular and the décor is simple with walls full of movie memorabilia. They have lunch specials and a pretty sucky happy hour. They deliver which is a plus in the Gables. Parking is available on the street or down the block… good luck with that.

They just opened Monday, so perhaps they need some time to get rolling, but service issues aside, the food was«meh» at best. The wings were undercooked and fatty, and resembled the Tyson chicken wings you can buy from Publix and microwave. Seriously. That said, the sauce was ok, as I had the Jalapenas, which was rated a 4star out of 5, for spicyness. The chicken fajitas were as bland as could be, with the exception of the black beans on the side. The black beans were excellent, but that certainly wasnt the focus of the dish! Bottom line… you cant call your business«Mister Wings» and serve wings like this… Also, they need to hire someone to help with the atmosphere. It had classic rock posters like The Beatles and Rolling stones, with 80’s hits from VH1 on the TV and over the speakers, Tex-Mex themed menu, and german beer coasters! If this place is going to succeed among the highly competitive restaurant scene in Coral Gables, it really needs to get its act together!
