Today June 62016 I went to use the services of the washer and dryer. To start the air conditioner does not work on this location and is 86 degrees outside do the laundry mat is a living hell. Floors are dirty and machines are dirty too. Several dryers are out of order and it seems like the air conditioner owner is not interested in fixing them. Worst part that made me decided not to comeback and let everybody now about this terrible place, is the customer service. I had my clothes in the dryer for 40 minutes and still all clothes are damp wet. Dryers need to be fix . One of the machines were broken and by mistake I put my Money there. I spoke to a young employer that was collecting the quarters from the machines; first he pretended he did not speak Spanish — I had hear him talking in Spanish to Other employees. When I explained to him in English my problem. He just shrug his shoulders and told me that I need to read the signs and lost my money. Is not the one dollar is to be honest with you business. After I told him was not fair him just taking my money, he gave me the refund with a rude and disgusting attitude . I feel is my duty to spread these bad experiences in this laundry mat. Terrible service, dirty location. Please go to somewhere else and you are doing yourself a favor.

I used to come here when I lived in the gables bc I worked late and would come if I needed to wash late, unfortunately, that’s he only upside to this place, besides it is moderately clean. I now live on SoBe but needed to do some late night laundry and his place came to mind, but now I remember why I stopped coming. No machine is less than $ 2.75 and its $.25 for 10 mins for the dryer and on the high heat setting, I have paid $ 2 with clothes still not hot or all the way dry. It really isn’t worth it. I will be sure to make time during the day to go to La Lavanderia on coral way. Also, don’t sit on the folding tables because you will be reprimanded!

I live in Coral Gables, my apartment doesn’t have a washer/dryer in the unit so I come here. I clean my clothes here on a weekly basis without any issues, one time a washer left my clothes completely soaked however; the kind lady on staff that day gave me my money back to wash once again. Today the majority of the dryers are broken, I put my two loads to dry, one finished and one never dried, I pressed the bottom twice for it to work and it’s finally working without shutting off. I asked for my 4 quarters back to use another dryer as I don’t have all day to be here at 40 minutes per dryer, the lady on staff today refused to refund me $ 1 stating she didn’t have the authorization… funny the last washer incident the women had zero issues giving me nearly $ 4 for another wash. Pisses me off. I am a regular, I want my 4 quarters refunded to use a dryer that’s operating properly. Places to go and people to see. This place usually would get 4 – 5 stars today 1.

I live in a humble abode with a small washer/dryer unit housed in a closet in the kitchen. While it gets the job done when it comes to clothes, it unfortunately can’t fit my big fluffy comforter. After one failed attempt to stuff it all in there anyway, I quickly realized that I would need to head elsewhere. This is the first and only laundromat I’ve been to(unless you count the one housed on the bottom floor of our college dorms). I can’t imagine them being all that different. Come prepped with quarters or bills to exchange in their machine as every machine only accepts the shiny stuff. They have a few different sizes of washers that go up in price ranging from $ 3-$ 5 per cycle, while the dryers cost $.25 for 10 minutes. I don’t know how all laundromats fare in the clean factor but I feel like the insides of these machines are good, but I wish the owner would pay more attention to the surroundings. Let’s just say if I was washing loads of clothes here and a sock accidentally dropped on the floor after, I’d feel like I’d need to wash it again. You can drop off clothes to get washed and folded by the staff, and they also have things like detergent and dryer sheets for purchase if you are without. While you wait for your cycle to complete, there is a 7 – 11 you can walk to next door(exciting, I know) or you can sit down on one of the two benches and read! I’m happy I only have to come here every now and then when my comforter is in need of some love. For regular laundromat needs, I would probably scope out a place a little cleaner.
