After looking for a new stylist, I stopped by Camelot after reading the reviews. The hair wash was a little rough and challenging, because the woman did not speak any English, but I loved my cut and blow dry so much, that I thought I had still found my new stylist. Sadly, that was 4 visits ago. Since then, my stylist has never been available to work on the weekends, and I’ve grown tired of the pains of having someone new cut my hair each time. The search continues.

I was gifted a massage here but the masseuse did not speak any English. I asked repeatedly to not use lotion but since they neither read the sheet or could speak English it didn’t work. I also couldn’t communicate what area’s to focus on so all in all it was a sub-par experience. Also, zero privacy and a makeshift room for the massage. You get dressed in a shower, no cover ups and she did not leave the room. The shower/changing room was full of other people’s things too.

Worst massage of my life. I feel that she never certified. She had no sense of understanding the body and when I tried to ask for deeper, she wouldn’t. Never again!

Many years ago I used to work in the Coral Gables area and I used to do my eyebrows there I don’t remember the name of the person but I remember walking in there and feeling at peace the environment was amazing and the bra lady was great I do not remember her name but I’m planning to go back and I love that place

My friend got me a spafinder gift card for my birthday so I decided to use it here since it was close by and had reasonable prices. I booked a waxing and manicure appointment that were scheduled back to back. I arrived about 10 min early and the first impression was unprofessional — the girls were on their cell phones and they did not have my appointment time correct. I stressed that I had called to confirm it. They tried to fix this, found the waxer but she was getting her hair done. WTF. She came over to to apologize with her hair in foils and took me to the room to wax me which she did a great job with good quality wax. When I came out, I was to wait a bit for my manicure appt… was then informed that the manicurist was taking too long with one client and it would be another 30min. Ok. I waited for almost an hour and then they came back to inform me that the manicurist was backed up and couldn’t see me today. WTF. I was so annoyed, I paid for my waxing(which they surprisingly gave me a discount for the dilema, thank goodness) and booked my manicure for the next day which went much more smoothly… and decided sporatically while getting my nails done to get an eyebrows waxed immediatly afterwards by the same waxer, who did a phenomenal job! :-)

Professional. Clean ambiance. Highly recommend Lyndon. Started going here approx. 8 months ago, haven’t risked going anywhere else since.

I’ve been going to Camelot for years because the staff is fun, friendly, and always have good stories to tell. Luis does wonderful hair blow out’s and styling and Lyndon does too. Yami the manicurist is amazing too. I just think that their prices for manicures are starting to get too high for no reason. I understand you have a high monthly bill to pay for overhead. i totally get it… but i just don’t want to pay almost $ 80 for shellac manicure and a regular pedicure plus tips. It’s just borderline abusive. i’ will periodically go back and visit and enjoy it, but it’s not my weekly manicure place anymore. sadly. I’ve also looked up to see if they have any offers like groupons, but sadly they don’t. :(

My husband and I have both been very happy and loyal customers at Camelot Salon & Spa. Their professional staff and friendly environment is always a pleasure to experience. They provide a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Their hair colorist, stylist and full staff are helpful and always have you leave satisfied. Fully recommended!!! Mabel and Pierre Galoppi

I was looking to treat my Mom and sisters with mani/pedis in the Miami area. I found them via google when I typed in best mani/pedis in Miami. Well, Google is not wrong. We had a wonderful time and they were nice enough to get some yummy champagne for us to enjoy. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff. They have the latest colors from the major nail lines. My manicure lasted a week and half and I’m still enjoying my pedicure. This is a terrific place that I will return to when I next visit.

Camelot is amazing! Such a wonderful place, where no matter what I am getting done I feel welcomed into a friendly, professional environment. For hair(trims, up-dos, blow-outs, etc.), I highly recommend Shawni. She is as skilled as she is sweet; always worth the money. She cut my hair for the first time when I donated it, and was super understanding and helpful in her suggestions. For nails, I love Haydi. She is obviously excellent at manicures and also very kind. I love Camelot!

I loved the people working here. I’ve only been going for a year, but I’ve found my spot for nails and hair coloring.

i went into camelot last month and was really impressed. i was able to cash in a couptessa deal for a mani and pedi. it was awesome. haydee attended me and she was so sweet and really good with cuticles without going overboard or cutting me(like so many other ladies do). all the prodcuts were top of the line, essie and opi polishes and all the latest fall colors. they use great care and hygiene which is very important to me. i also saw a stylist that i know from elsewhere, shoni, who is awesome. i will most likely make it back to camelot. i really liked it! and my mani pedi lasted forever!

I have been coming to this salon for over 20 years. Whenever I need a amazing facial with an experienced and professional esthetician, I never go anywhere else. Very relaxing and you leave looking brand new. Awesome place!!!

I was really stressed out at my job that I HAD the day before. I came in to relax and enjoy my one hour massage, manicure, and pedicure.(Travel City voucher that I used on Friday, April 13th.) First it was the massage. I’ve had a much better experience at other places and this lady made me feel bad about my body. My body is very much in shape but she was complaining a couple of breakouts that I had on my back and literally counted them(5) and then a few minutes later she said«yeah…it’s all over your whole back like one big rash.» I said«what!?» and then she said«yeah I’m not going to massage your back.» I was pissed off and just got up to go look in the bathroom and I didn’t see anything! I looked really closely and I see like maybe 5 like she said in the beginning. They were so tiny and I knew where it was from because I never break out on my back. I told her«I barely saw them and my back isn’t one big rash like you said. And that you made that sound a lot worse that what it really was! My back isn’t even red. Those tiny breakouts are from sunscreen when I went to the beach the other day. Even though that kind of sunscreen makes me breakout, I’d rather breakout for a few days than to have skin damage» But still gave her a chance because I was determined to have a good experience. Throughout the massage she pointed out stuff that’s wrong with my body. And asking me about my birthmark saying«what is that?» She made me feel really bad to the point that after I left the«spa» I went home and googled dermatologists. I use very expensive products on my face and take very good care of myself and my body and eat very healthy. And I am very well aware of my imperfections and do strive to be perfect but I know that’s impossible. I’m a very nice person and tipped her anyway because I would just feel bad on top of feeling bad about my body. Overall, I thought during the treatment. «I am never coming back here ever again.» Also, I don’t like to say names but her name is Ania. Or something like that. On top of that I had to ask for a drink… twice. No one offered and on the voucher it said«enjoy a glass of complimentary wine.» Luckily, I didn’t care about the wine and I just asked for water. I have a blog and posted my review on my page since it talks about skincare products. And now gives reviews on spas. I’m going to the Mondrian next. I hear that’s the best place. People forget that the majority of people own computers and know how to type about their thoughts and feelings.

I’m been going to Javier for years to get haircuts at Camelot. I can’t comment on the other stylists but Javier is one of the best and I wouldn’t go anyplace else.

I got a mani, pedi, and eye brow wax on a recent Friday afternoon. My nail specialist was good, although she picked up her cell phone and carried on a full conversation while painting my nails! She also could have spent longer on my pedi– it felt rushed. Perhaps she knew I was using a groupon(although I always over-tip anyway!). The eyebrow waxer didn’t speak a word of English though, which made me nervous as I do not speak Spanish. I know this is Miami, but all clients should be made to feel welcome regardless of language. Because of the language barrier, I wasn’t able to have a real consultation with the waxer and just had to prey for the best. CONS: staff smoking in front of the door, staff shouting across the salon, spanish-only. I wouldn’t go back if I had to pay full price– it’s just not enough of a «salon» professional experience.

I went here to get a bad haircut fixed. In no time, I had a new haircut better than I imagined. This place is cute and the service is great. Everyone is so welcoming. Highly recommended to anyone looking to get a haircut worth the price.

Just had the full body facial that I brought from , the daily deal site for locals in Miami. I wasn’t too sure of what a full body facial was but it sounded enticing… It was a hit, absolutely loved it. Virginia who is the masseuse for Camelot, scrubbed every inch of my body, leaving it smooth and my skin feeling baby fresh. I then entered a very cool looking cocoon which steamed my body for about 20 minutes, it was extremely relaxing and just what I needed! After that the vichy jettees sprayed a series of hot and cold water all over the body… it was awesome… felt like I was in a car wash… then Virginia moisturized all my skin with this nourishing cream that was oh soooo incredible… i fully recommend this treatment, it was totally different from anything I have ever done before. While I was there, I also got a new haircut and color with Luis… overall, it was a great day at this salon and spa!

This was a really fun and classy place. My hairstylist was Mario and I adore him. He really helped blend my choppy layers and was really fun to talk to. Plus the yummy red wine didn’t hurt. I’m going to make this my regular hair place!

I am a client and have been cutting my hair at this salon for roughly ten years. Once I began going, I realized that several of my friends had already discovered this secret and were attending as well! Although I don’t cut my hair all that often, I have to say they do the best job I have ever seen! My stylist knows how to cut my hair adequately so I can wear it both curly and/or straight… and when he irons it, it’s as if I never had curly hair to begin with. Perfect! I am also able to pluck my eyebrows here; I don’t wax, but they do a great job with the tweezers. All wax/tweezing services take place in the back room(the spa area), which is incredibly relaxing. You can definitely fall asleep there; and if you’re interested in spa services, they offer plenty of these as well. Prices are reasonable, I would say, overall, especially for a salon in the Gables. And the staff goes above and beyond the call of duty; they’re extremely friendly! Great place to visit… watch out for Gables cops giving tickets on the street.
