Bulls has the best happy hour in town! ½ price bottles of wine!!! They also have really good food, the tapas are quintessentially Spanish(very little of the fusion thing you see in other places). I normally get the pan con tomate, simple toast with tomatoes and olive oil, it’s fantastic. The salpicon de mariscos is ok, everything is cooked well, just nothing to write home about. Croquetas are really good, too.

Had my birthday dinner reservation here for Tuesday 6⁄28. I called to make sure the reservation was a go and spoke to a lady manager. She assured me everything was good and that another reservation had cancelled and that we will have one of the private rooms upstairs and that she will move the reservation from 6 to 6:15. No problem. My friend gets there first and gets sat. I get there and noticed that we were seated downstairs in a very uncomfortable space. It was a reservation for 16 ppl. And they put us in their booth areas, mind you 7 ppl seating in the booth area and when one of us had to use the restroom half had to get up for that person to get out and get in. I should of complained but gave them the benefit of the doubt. My friend tells me she’s been sitting for 20mins and no one has gone up to her. 2nd clue this is not going to be fun. The waitress gets there and tells us she is in training. Ok no problem. Almost everyone on the table is in the restaurant industry so we know how that is. We have patience. She takes our drink order and some food. About 15 mins go by and we get our drinks. Again, understandable it’s happy hour and the bar it’s packed. Food comes out quick and it’s amazing. Great now where is our waitress? Looking around no where to be found. We see her talking to what seem to be her managers at a table across from us. Ok… You would think she will turn around and come to us since she is right there, nop. She leaves to not be seen again until 10mins before HH is over. So we order multiple drinks, since she is going to take forever to come back around again. We had a great time. Eating, drinking and talking. The food is truly amazing. We were going to go out after but the girl took so long to bring dessert out(30mins) and then to took forever to swipe our cards and we sober up before we left. So that was a bummer. I’m giving two stars because management let us down two times. First by sitting us in that uncomfortable space and then giving us someone in training. Which I found odd, since someone in training shouldn’t be taking a 16 top and multiple tables after that. Food was great but none of us will go out of our way to come here because service was truly terrible. When service is bad everything else is overshadowed.

I’ve been here 3 times. You know I like a place if I bring my mother here, and I did. I have nothing bad to say about this place, so here is the good: * It’s clean. Dining room and bathrooms. * The menu is perfect. It’s focused, and it’s not too long. It’s easy to find something to order. * They have some things you don’t see everywhere. Huevos Bulla is their take on Huevos Estrellados. Their Pan con Tomate is awesome. Pimientos de Padron are my favorite. Their Croquetas de Jamon are the creamy bechamel kind. It really gives the impression that someone thought long and hard about what people would like, whether they know Spanish cuisine or not. * The décor is nice. Not distracting, but definitely well done. The marble on the stairs and in the bathroom is beautiful. * The service is great. Tim and Isabel are fantastic, attentive servers. Not too fast, not too slow. And they’re friendly. * Even without a reservation, I’ve never had to wait very long for a table, even though it looked pretty full. * The atmosphere is fun, and it’s always been full of people when I’ve arrived. It makes people friendly. I have had conversations with my table-neighbors there. If you don’t like people or noise, this might not be your scene. It’s louder around the bar, which is near the front, but they have plenty of tables in the interior/back that should be more quiet. * They have an upstairs area. It looks really nice for events. I’ll update this if I get the chance. * They CARE. If anything is wrong, tell your server, ask for a manager. They’ll make it right. THIS is the most important thing. I’ll definitely be back soon.

This is a great restaurant. Both brunch and dinner are excellent and the food quality is very consistent. It is on the pricier side, but the food and service meet the value paid. Their brunch is excellent and they have the option of a predetermined menu. That menu gives you the option to choosing three plates. This is great for sharing! My boyfriend and I each ordered an egg dish and then we got a small tapa. Now the croquetas aren’t on that preset menu, but they’re SOGOOD! This time around we ordered the coca which was flavorful but the sauce was a bit too much and made the flatbread a little soggy. We ordered the Huevos Bulla and Cochinillo Hash. The Huevos Bulla never fails, the crunch chips, saltiness of the prosciutto and the infamous truffle oil makes for a savory dish! The Cochinillo Hash is also great. They give a great portion of pork and the potatoes are well seasoned. The trick with the hash is that this meal, counts as 2 of the 3 plates. We wanted to try it so we didn’t mind paying the little extra. The last, but certainly not least, is the unlimited mimosas or sangria. I can’t remember the price per person if you don’t do the present brunch menu, but if you get that menu then the cost is $ 15 a person if I’m correct. The white sangria is the way to go. It’s served with blueberries, strawberries and blackberries. They just opened a location in downtown Doral and it offers all the same specials. Their happy hour is one of my favorite in the city — 50% off all drinks. Can’t beat that!

Walking the Mag Mile at 6:00, it’s easy to find the popular restaurants. A few are full to the gills and most are wastelands. I had my mind in Tapas, so I went exploring. Bulla was one of the«in» places although, as I walked in, I wasn’t sure that I belonged here. W Two hostesses greeted me at the door, but(presumably) since I was single, I wasn’t offered a table or any greeting. I enquired bout bar seating, and was assured that the 2 open seats were available. While greeted promptly at the bar, my bartenders attention quickly turned to the attractive brunette seated next to me.(Go figure) Hello? I’m still here… Once we were able to discuss the menu, my bartender was a great help. He made some recommendations and the food was delicious. In Spain, you usually go from place to place to find some great tapas. At Bulla, I had plenty of time, if I had choose, to walk a few laps before my server would reappear, despite the fact that he was 5 feet from me at all times. This place would be best for groups or perhaps for the beautiful people to linger. On a special note, the chocolate deconstructed dessert is to die for…

I have become a semi regular to this place, what can I tell you, I like eggs and they do eggs well. Service might not be the very best in the industry but you can find a good server now and then. The hostesses I do not like, but the cooks I do, so there you go. This place can be LOUD so be wearing your Cuban or Brazilian hat and don’t be bother by it, just enjoy your meal and move on with your life. Their flat bread is the only thing I wouldn’t recommend, it doesn’t suck but is just not great. Their mimosas need some improvement too, I love mimosas but here they are simply not good, no matter how«endless mimosas for 15 bucks(I think)» might sound. Parking is on the street, coral gables is notorious for this, but as I have mentioned on a review before there is a great public parking nearby almost everything. Enjoy guys, I will come back here at least once per month, it’s a fun place indeed«bulla» :-)

Bulla provides you with everything you could possibly want when it comes to a dining experience, until you get there and get your tab. At best, Bulla is an overpriced and desperate attempt at capturing true Spanish cuisine. Truth be told, you’ll enjoy your time there, but the next morning you will undoubtedly say«Yeah, it was good, but I’d never go again.» It’s a staff of egotistical pricks that feel they are a notch above the rest of the world. They serve tapas but charge you prices equivalent to full course meals, all because they truly think they can. Don’t get me wrong, the food and drinks are great. But you’ll never go back for a second time, unless you’re an idiot, because they’re an over-charging and egotistical, money hungry group of assholes that are professionally trained to put a smile on their face to lure you in. Save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. Bulla is a joke and they know it.

I was looking for a restaurant that had an original Spain cuisine… I reviewed a few places until I found this one … Brunch Menu had a variety of tapas and drinks that pleased our appetite and quenched our thirst … Keeping traditional Spain cuisine flavors throughout whole meal… we had white sangria… that was excellent … On Sunday’s they have unlimited sangria and mimosas… you can have as many as you want or can drink… Ambience and décor A++++ Our server Anastasia had delivered great service… We met Manager Shelly she was very friendly and attentive… super professional… Place runs smoothly… She takes care of everything alongside with staff members, everybody works as a team and have the Rigth attitude for a great customer service experience… Overall this has been a great first experience. Thank you BULLA… This is one place that you can’t have enough… You will come once, twice and many more.

Great Spanish style restaurant on Miracle Mile; went for late lunch on Memorial Day. Ambiance is nice – they have acoustic ceiling tiles so the noise level is low even when restaurant is full. Comfortable seating. Service is friendly and efficient, and if you order several tapas they are brought out as they’re ready, so there’s a continuous stream of food. The food is delicious, especially the potato tapas and the side truffle fries! Sandwiches are large and the bread seems homemade. Lots of flavor in everything. Would definitely eat here again!

I came to a Miami for the weekend and one of my friends wanted to come here. I’m familiar with the area since I was raised in Miami and recently relocated. Their food and drinks were, as my friends husband would describe«OHMYGODDDD!» The only reason why I couldn’t give them 5 stars was because wait time to sit was over an hour and a half. We actually found seats at the bar faster than they were able to get us a table… And it had already been an hour of waiting. So this is really a 4.5 star review with the recommendation to make reservations on a Friday or Saturday night. The bartenders were on point! I have never been flagged by a bartender to take my order, usually it’s the other way around so I was over the moon to give this guy my drink order. They were so friendly and happy to do their job, that we were just as happy to keep ordering. Their tapas are seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. Pan con tomate– looks like bread with jelly, tastes amazing! We ordered 2 of these Albondigas– these were ok. Not bad, not great. To be fair I married an Italian and meatballs are not to be taken lightly. Croquettas with fig– so delicious! Pintxo Moruno– this was amazing– beyond amazing! Perfectly made grilled pork with mojo and Greek yogurt. I wish I had this right now. Definitely try this place if you’re in town.

Other than being popular, I don’t understand why this place is popular. The atmosphere was nice, service was OK, the food meh. My experience, in order, was as follows. Wine — looked like a decent wine list. We asked the server for a recommendation and ended up with a mediocre $ 48 bottle of Ribera del Duero, which is a region I typically love. We then received a dish of Patatas Bravas. These are squares of fried potatoes with an aioli and some hot sauce on top. How was it? It was like fried squares of potatoes with an aioli and some hot sauce on top. Next up was two different charcuteries with some goats cheese. The charcuterie was supermarket ok. The goats cheese was delicious. They can buy and slice good goat’s cheese and put it on a cutting board. Then gazpacho. It was pretty good if you like the slightly creamier style. Last, and definitely least, was a dish highly recommended by our server, seriously. It is like something my son makes in the microwave with our leftover baguettes. He melts cheese on top of leftover meat and sticks it on top of a slice of baguette, maybe drizzles some sauce on top. Voila. He knows enough to toast the bread first so that it doesn’t get soggy. They do this with shortribs and serve it as a restaurant dish, only it IS soggy. Not much more I can say really. Approx $ 100 plus tip for two.

Food here is pretty good! Friend about 6 – 7 small dishes. Lose a star for only average-level service; waitress was kind of slow to check on the table throughout otherwise a good enough place to grab some bites.

Dinner is just as great as their brunch! I am so glad I finally went to dinner at Bulla and even more glad I brought my family along to experience how delicious their tapas and entrees are. We had the ham croquettes, the chorizo cantimpalo and Mahon cheese, the pan con tomate, tortilla española, dates with bacon(filled with goat cheese and walnuts), pinxto moruno(tender pork skewers), chicken canelones, short rib and churros — phew! That was a mouth full. I’m pretty sure we would have kept eating if we hadn’t gotten so full! Everything was delicious, but I’ll specifically comment on the pinxto moruno and short rib platter because the meat was so extremely tender. It was juicy, soft and melt in your mouth delicious. We also ordered drinks — cerveza sangria and red sangria — that happened to be half off because Bulla has happy hour prices on Saturday until 7:00PM. I cannot visit Bulla without ordering a cerveza sangria. It has a wonderful unique taste. All in all, another amazing experience at Bulla.

I’ve been here twice now for brunch and lunch and look forward to coming back again to try their dinner menu. Bulla has a beautiful ambiance that makes you feel like you’re in Spain. They also have an open kitchen, which I always love seeing. We made a reservation for brunch on a Sunday and were seated immediately. Then for lunch we had no reservation and the place was pretty packed, but we were still seated immediately. My waiters both times have been phenomenal, running us through the menu and offering suggestions. What I really loved about this place are the portion sizes, they’re not too big so I feel like I need a box to take food home, but they’re also not so tiny that I’m left hungry when I leave. As for food, I’ve ordered: Croquetas de Jamon: Excellent! Definitely the best croquetas I’ve had in Miami. I personally do not like sweet things, but the fig jelly they offer pairs nicely with it. They’re a little smaller than normal croquetas, coming in a square shape when I first went there, and then a more spherical shape last time I went. I think this helps the ratio of filling to outside crust because I’ve noticed that other croquetas I’ve had have too much filling inside. My only complaint with these is that the last time I went for lunch, they were a little overcooked. Delicious regardless, and I would definitely recommend ordering these! Arroz a la Cubana: I had this for brunch. It was good, with a nice fried egg on top with a yolk I could cut into. The bananas were a little too sweet for me and I feel like the dish could do without them, but that’s just my personal preference. But overall a decent dish, I just think there are better entrees to order. Patatas Bravas: Yum! I could not get enough of the aioli on these! They were gone within the first 2 – 3 minutes. Truffle Fries: These were homestyle fries with shaved truffle on top. I loved that I could smell the truffle when the fries came out, but it didn’t seem like the truffle actually stuck to the fries. So some bites I had an adequate amount of truffle, and others I just had a bite of potato. Good, but there are a ton of other places in Miami where you could get better truffle fries. Bulla Burger: The real star of this dish is the piquillo pepper put on top. It adds another dimension of flavor. Without it, the burger would lack some much needed character. My friend who ordered this as well thought it could use a little salt, and I personally thought the bun should have been a little toasted on the inside. The bun is already very soft, and then the juiciness from the meat makes it a little soggy, it partially fell apart at one point when I was eating it. That being said, the patty itself was delicious! It was astoundingly juicy and I enjoyed every bite of it until it fell apart in my hands. Overall, a great place to grab a meal! There’s so much on the menu to choose from and I don’t think the price is too bad. I’ve spent around $ 20-$ 30 each time, and that’s with 1 – 2 tapas and 1 entrée. I look forward to trying their dinner menu.

I finally made it here to Bulla with a friend on a recent Monday night. We were seated right away, and I must say the service was spot on all night via a fun and cheery waitress who really made this meal for me. I especially found her personality and level of care and service refreshing when South Florida in general isn’t always known for its customer service! We had the Juevos Bulla to start, which seems to be their signature dish. I thought it was good, but for me, it was a bit heavy on the truffle oil… It was overpowering the rest of the dish just a bit. We also had the croquetas de jamon with jelly which were very good, the ensalada de pulpo(the grilled octopus was excellent), the datiles con beicon, and we both had 2 beers. We split the bill evenly and it came to about $ 41 each before gratuity. To be frank, I normally find most tapas/small plates restaurants a complete rip off, charging more than they should for small(but usually tasty) portions. In this case, we paid about what one would pay for a good meal in a traditional restaurant with drinks, and I actually walked away full, which isn’t always the case with tapas places.

Bety nice place, We enjoyed our dinner on the 2nd floor, the ground floor was really noisy… The food was amazing, but the plates are quite small for the price. They ran out of tartar de atún after we ordered Overall, I felt that I was in Spain again.

My visit here was beyond my expectations. Crowded and noisy but all in all, my experience was amazing. The Moscow mule actually came in copper and was perfect. Started the food journey with some Manchega and some Pan con tomate: oh so good. All gone within 5 minutes. Next up was the Huevos Bulla, a house favorite, and became my all time favorite out of all the tapas I ordered. It was without a doubt a unique mix but perfectly combined. Each tapa was a new experience, every bite was a party for my tastebuds. Service was smooth, waiter was on point! On the downside, the music was way way too loud but is okay because the food made up for it. For sure I will be back and I am so looking forward to it.

Great spot in the heart of the Gables. Excellent Spanish tapas bar. Nice ambiance with bar dining available. Without question you must get the tuna tartare and the short rib montaditos – phenomenal flavor. The gambas(shrimp) al ajillo were OK. Reasonably priced drinks(the Estrella Dam beer that cost me $ 5 here would be $ 8 – 12 in SoBe). Attentive service and a nice professional crowd.

I was so excited to try out Bulla for the first time! I have heard so many good things! I did my research and knew exactly what I wanted. I walked in super excited but somehow had to wait for like 15min before being seated while there were ample tables available. Somewhat upsetting but I could get over it! I ordered a Moscow Mule and later ordered an appetizer– the Huevos Bulla! I ended up getting the appetizer before my drink which was pretty heartbreaking because I really didn’t want to begin my appetizer without my drink. After finally getting my drink, it was amazing. Perfect Moscow mule. It was served with a ginger candy and lime on a skewer– YUM! As for my huevos bulla– PERFECT! Eggs and prosciutto on top of homemade potato chips. One they all come together with the egg yolk, it really just melts in your mouth! For my entrée, I ordered the filet mignon– wanted to treat myself to something delicious and full of protein after a long full day of work. Very excited about this one as well. Unfortunately this entrée took an extremely long time receive. Once I finally got my entrée, it was delicious– very flavorful. The steak is served with polenta fries which are phenomenal. The fried crispy chips with the well seasoned steak make a great combination. One thing I have to include is that although extremely tasty and well-seasoned, the steak was overlooked. So disappointing. Very simple, simple part of preparing a dish. I would like to conclude that I had an AMAZING dinner. I had very high expectations for this restaurant. The dishes were very tasty. Food was wonderful. The service was just completely unacceptable. As well as the overcooked steak. I give Bulla Gastrobar 4⁄5 stars because I do feel that it could have 5 stars. However it is extremely important to take into account the customer’s all around experience which just was not there.

I’ve been coming to Bulla since it opened and I cannot say good things about it. The food is consistently good and the drinks are delicious! We don’t ever come without getting an order of huevos bulla, do yourself a favor and try it at least once, I promised you’ll be hooked. Not only do they have a great happy hour until 7pm, they also have an amazing brunch on the weekends where you can drink all the sangria your heart desires. You can even mix and match between the different kinds. I’m partial to the sangria de cerveza myself. Always a lively crowd, great drinks and food, what else could you ask for?

This review is based on the private dining room upstairs. My niece’s bridal shower was held here. What a great spot for a private event. The room was spacious enough for the group and we had our own bar. The service was excellent. Our menu items were delicious. The appetizers included ham croquettes served with guava jelly, codfish fritters served with tartar and spanish omelet. All 3 were yummy! For the entrée, we were given a choice of a pork loin dish or a chicken salad. I had the pork loin and it was perfectly seasoned and tender. The portion was appropriate for lunch. The dessert deserves a gold star. We were served a coconut flan with passion fruit sorbet. Simply amazing! The combination of flavors was just right and so tasty! I would definitely make a return trip based on how delicious everything was. My only complaint was at the bar. I ordered the same drink and they were served 3 different ways. I was also charged differently for the same drink. Oh well, I’ll know not to order Hendricks and tonic next time.

Bulla is one of my favorite tapas place in the gables and Miami. The décor is beautiful and as a restaurant I feel it’s pretty intimate. I love the lighting here. The vibe is great. Lively and fun. There’s two floors with high top seating as well as more traditional seating. The staff is very nice. And the food is out of control. You must try some of their staples and my personal favorites: — huevos bulla — pan con tomate — corquetas de Jamon with fig jelly — and for dessert you have to try el cremoso de chocolate. That’s heaven on a plate — and their white sangria is amongst my favorite I’ve been going to bulla for the past three years and I’m never disappointed. It’s definitely a must try.

I love everything about this place. We’ve been coming here since it was Por Fin Restaurant years ago. I think the owners are the same as Bulla because the menu and concept are very similar but I’m not sure. However, it doesn’t matter because the food, service and decorations are great. Last time we visited we ordered several sharing plates including Huevos Bulla(my favorite), ensalada de pulpo(octopus salad), frituras de bacalao(cod fritters), tortilla española(egg & potato omelet), meatballs, torrejas(spanish– style sweet fried bread) and churros. On other occasions I’ve ordered the large plates like cochinillo(roasted pork) and seafood rice but I generally prefer the tapas. Everything was excellent and will definitely return again. I recommend you call ahead and make reservations, just in case.
