Should have known when I arrived and the person behind the counter was behind bullet proof glass, well worn bullet proof glass. Paid for the room and didn’t stay the night.

I have stayed here a few different times! The service staff is amazing! Every time I make a reservation the day before they have a room ready for early checkin! They are friendly and let you stay in peace!

First off, book your hotel reservations somewhere else. Don’t bother staying here. Rooms are not up to date, densely furnished, and comforter and blanket felt and smelled aweful. The room was missing alarm clock, coffee pot, lighting in the bathroom, iron and board even hangars. =(I’m really not high maintenance but lights and coffee would be nice. Save yourself some time and money, go somewhere else. Not to mention, parking is a bitch. Hotel needs a complete face lift.

This is a pretty decent motel for the price. We stayed here for an interview at Touro Bay Shore since it’s a pretty short drive from campus and less shady than nearby motels. The motel room was clean and somewhat new. We felt safe in our rooms and driving to a fast food restaurant at night. The area surrounding it does look a little rundown, but the motel itself is clean and up to date.
Cons: Finding the place off the 27 was pretty difficult.
The dining options are very limited at night so we just ate at Popeye’s. Not exactly something unique to New York, but we were desperate and hungry.

I recently stayed at this Days Inn during an impromptu trip booked via
less than 48 hours before. The location is unusual, situated down a side street off of Sunrise Highway. However, once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the level of quality at this hotel. Both the room and the grounds were impeccably clean. The Queen size bed quite comfortable, with ample fluffy pillows. The hot water came on instantly. The two gentlemen at the front office were very polite and service oriented. For the price I paid in a package deal, it was a bargain. This was my first time staying at a Days Inn. I’ll definitely consider this hotel on a future trip.
