It pains me to write this review. Why? Because the people who work for this company are all the nicest people I have ever dealt with and the moving crew busts their butt. There is the owner, the moving crew and the office help. None of them knows what the other is doing. If you talk to the moving crew and tell them something the owner approved etc, they have no idea what you are talking about. Talk to the office people about something the drivers did, they have no idea. The movers themselves are great guys, but there are way more damaged items than I would have expected. Also some missing boxes. They completely broke my washing machine so that it didn’t work any more. When I called the owner, he was more than willing to take care of the problem, but this stuff shouldn’t happen in the first place. He picked up the washing machine and took it to a repair shop, the machine came back fixed almost two weeks later. Meanwhile I couldn’t do laundry. This was a sizeable move for sure, but years ago me and a bunch of buddies moved my entire life in a huge truck w/out anything damaged, and that was just a bunch of amateurs. The moving crew was incredibly late on arrival. The owner told me around 1pm, the guys showed up at 6 or so pm. They claim to have not known the time the owner gave me and they came from another job that day that held them up. When bringing this up with the owner he said he never told me 1pm. Later that day I pulled up his email showing his promise of 1pm and forwarded it to him, I never heard back from him regarding this, nor an apology. There were other problems too with communication by the drivers with the owner and with the office help. They finally sent someone out to view the damaged items and take stock of missing items etc… that was two weeks ago from this writing and I have still not heard anything back. Are they paying for the items? What is next? I have no idea, and after calling their office today, they have no idea either. Edit: the owner calls me weeks after all this stuff is going on, tells me his guys will stop by the next day or two for sure to fix a bed for me that isn’t right. They never called. It is getting worse with this guy each time. He also brought a furniture repair person to my home to look at all the damage. He gives the repair guy my number last week, still no call. And I am doubting that the owner has followed up in any way. Awful.

My wife heard about Country Picker from a friend. Throughout the process Phil and his team were true professionals. Working hard to gain our trust, and also going the extra mile with customer service. We had a move cross country so we had our concerns with all going well. Phil and his team assured us that all would be safe and sound. They quoted the exact day they would be coming in to unload; whereas some of the other carriers don’t provide that information. We couldn’t have been more please with the service. We found them to be fair, and professional. A true positive experience. We were very grateful for a fantastic move! Thank you Country Picker!
