Let me start with: I wanted to open an account with FNB because I had heard from a friend of mine that their online banking was a really good option.
I opened my account with them over a year ago now. When I went in I spoke with someone about what I needed and at the time I wasn’t going to school but the person said «Don’t worry, no one will ask you for a student ID» when they opened up a student account for me. I tried to refuse but they said it would be an easier plan and all of that so I said I’d try it but I didn’t want anyone getting into any trouble and all of that.
One of the rules of my account was that I had to use my debit card 5 times a month. I said, okay fine because I did have a job (at a restaurant) so I usually bought lunch right from work so that wasn’t a problem. However, when I went to do the whole online banking setup it was kind of disastrous. I had to call customer service because there was a «secret question» that I had never set up. It’s not one that I could answer because I’ve never been married and it asked for my husband’s name.
The customer service representative lady told me that I am not supposed to press the enter key, but use the mouse only. I thought it was weird but I went with it anyways. I set up my account, wrote down my password and kept it in a secure place.
The next day I went to deposit my check from work and two days later I checked my online account. Hello more problems! :D I didn’t use the enter key, I typed my password as it was and even my HP sign in thing had the same password so it was time to call customer service again. The person on the phone reset my password and I still couldn’t get into my account.
The following week I went to close my account and that was 6 months ago, they gave me a check with my money from the account. I’m still getting bank statements and no one can answer my questions. I know I’m young, but I’m not stupid, avoid this bank.
The only positive thing I could find was that they cover the ATM charge from non FNB banks about 3 – 5 times a month. Other than that, this bank really needs to work on HOW it works.

One of the worst banks ive been with i mean all over with all of them in general. First off they love screwing around when lits time to put my pay check threw on pay day it takes them forever because they dont care! Second off everytime you end up negative just alittle bit they are sooo quick to jab you with penality fees which add up to be 37 bucks a pop because they only care about money and not there customers. Worst bank ever!!!

This is by far the worst bank that I have ever been to. I opened a business account there this past year. They couldn’t even get my address right or give me a few starter checks. The manager Brendan never spoke to me when I went in to close my account and the bank rep. didn’t know how to fill out a cashier’s check properly. She also threw the previous mgr. Jeff under the bus and said that «he dropped the ball». In addition, I was handed a cashier’s ck without ever requiring to give ANY security info. like driver’s license. When I had asked her to correct my acct 3 wks previously, she didn’t request anything at that time either. I only had a copy of my statement. Scary! This would be the bank that scam-​artists will be milking with employees like this.
