We have been to every sushi place in The Woodlands and we really like this place. And since we are from Santa Barbara California, we are experts in sushi. haha just joking, we read that in another review. Anyway, we sit and order at the bar and have been there three times in the last two months. if Brad is behind the bar he is very friendly and knows what he is doing. Service and sushi was always good. The price is equal to the other Woodland spots, but the sushi and the different rolls they have just tasted better. We will be back.

So very impressed. I am in town from L.A. and am used to great quality sushi and this place did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that lives here or is visiting. Also amazing and quick service during lunch time with a great lunch menu

This is by far the best sushi place I have found in Houston without going Downtown. My husband and I are from California so therefore we are picky when it comes to sushi. The quality is so good in CA that we had trouble finding really good sushi. We tried this place and everything we tried was fresh and delish! The service was a bit slow but otherwise we love it!

I really enjoy going here. The food tastes good. Slightly higher priced than other sushi spots but not expensive. Totally worth it because the decorations are really cool. Low light, good music. Good place for a casual date, or just hangout with friends.

My family and I love to come here and the food is always great but the service is less than par. Every single time we’ve come we’ve always waited. A lot longer than we should from the drinks all the way to the check. If the food and atmosphere weren’t so great, we wouldn’t be back.

Absolutely love this hidden gem! Amazing food and classy lounge atmosphere. Service is always prompt and long extended happy hours make it a worthwhile dining experience.

Just had their scorpion roll, tempura veggies and apple sake last night and I was a very happy customer! The waitress was fantastic and the food even better. I can’t wait until my next visit!

Over the last several years Chi has been a regular haunt of ours, good sushi, love the bento boxes and the tempura — then the happy hour martini’s etc. Then add in the dark but inviting ambience and it’s proximity to our home — I was(am) the Duke! The last two visits have been disappointments. About a month ago we got a «to go» for the first time ever. Sadly they missed my rice and all the important flavor items like wasabi and ginger :(Even worse both my wife and I got sick shortly after eating. We ascribed this to «take out» and so decided(against our better judgement) to try for lunch today. Big mistake. The salads were all watery and unappetizing, my wife peeled back the Tempura and found uncooked white flour underneath indicating undercooked again. Let the manager know, and his response was that the GM was on vacation and he would tell him on his return. Hmmmmm Won’t be back for a while. They are 4 star worthy if they can get their mojo back! let me know when they do folks and I will be there

I sometimes forget this place exist in The Woodlands. They have great happy hour specials and best of all it’s all day happy hour on Sunday. Came here Sunday with my family, the vibe is nice and the place is pretty spacious. I absolutely love their oyster shooters, we ordered a dozen of them, yum! Their bloody sake is delish, comparable to a bloody mary. Only $ 2 on Sundays, and $ 5 on regular days. The regular menu has some great choices as well. One of my favorite there is the seafood curry. My order this time around consisted of items from their happy hour menu. I enjoyed the tofu, nice and lightly crips on the outside and soft on the outside garnished with scallions and broth, very tasty. Calamari was great as well, the chicken and short beef rib satay were okay. Octopus was also tender and tasty. We also had the Conroe Roll, which I believe was 3 diff. fish rolled together. We finished off dinner with their raspberry cheesecake, amazing, def. recommend! Our wait and the service was slow, only b/c they were short handed. The manager also pitched in to help. Check out this place if you want some good sushi and drinks and a change of atmosphere from Uni. :)
