A British Touch

We recently found these reviews and we have been clients for many years. That being said I would like to let my thoughts out– the work has always been great and costs have been reasonable. I have never had an issue with honesty and yes I will say that employees change but I do feel that is not due to the company as much as the employees moving on, and or using this as a stop gap job. We have a very large home and it takes the current team of two approx. 2 hours to thoroughly dust, tend to floors (mix of carpet, wood and tile) and change linens, clean all bathrooms and the kitchen. We do not have cobwebs everywhere nor do we have dirty baseboards as they are spot checked and done as needed. Ceiling fans are also taken care of. When I point out certain things that need more attention– (by notes left) it is handled. End of story– I love the service and highly recommend this company.

The cleaning staff they sent over seemed okay, but this company has a revolving door of employees, it seemed like every few visits it would be a whole other crew, and they would tell you that the previous crew had left or been fired. Each time the owner would tell us she had an even better crew for us, who would be regulars, and then a few weeks later, same thing all over again.
The work they did was variable, the promises made by the owner could not be relied upon.
We think some items were stolen, but how do you prove it if you don’t notice at the time?
But the biggest problem is with the owner who (in her mind at least) is never wrong. When I contacted her about a couple of issues we were running into she spewed out a multi page insulting email rant that led us to believe that perhaps we’d be better off looking elsewhere. The email included assertions that her staff had secretly photographed our home without our permission, and if we withheld payment for the work that had not been completed we’d be sued by her attorney (!)
Whatever the goals of this business, and their lofty promises, they are unable to deliver because they cannot retain staff, which I think has a lot to do with the owner, who swings violently from almost normal to irrational.
