I hadn’t been to this place in years due to the fact that the last time we ordered from there it was a huge disappointment, which was shocking because it is under the same ownership and it used to be amazing! This past weekend I was home with the a sore throat and fever, so I decided to give it another try since the last thing I wanted to do was drive anywhere and they usually have speedy delivery. I ordered there won ton soup and fried rice. I was a little taken back by the price of $ 23 for soup and rice and when I got my order and started eating it I started kicking myself. Ugghhh, It was awful! None of it had any flavor, the rice tasted old and the worst part, almost every time I ate one of the wontons from the soup I bit into a little piece of bone or cartilage, so disgusting!!. It was so awful that I ended up tossing out a third of it. I don’t know what happened to this place since it is still under the same owners, but I will not be returning.

I ordered here for the first time and I was left very disappointed, the Mongolian Beef was alright but the Chow Mein was not that good and I’d say it’s the worst I’ve had in a while, it was very dry and the same can be said about their Chow Fun so judging from this experience I probably won’t ever order from here again but I hope they can improve in the near future

Really good, flavorful Chinese food. We had the hot and sour soup(which they made without pork for us), veggie chow mein, and 5 spicy tofu with broccoli. It’s been a long time since I’ve had Chinese food this good. Prices are also affordable and food comes nice and warm. We will definitely be back!

This little whole in the wall is the bomb! The food is ALWAYS hot & fresh. Servings are more than enough. To those who say soup is too bland better that than ruined with too much salt! Add your own salt! Delivery time is not bad pretty fast unless they are super busy. Would defiantly recommend for delivery or pick up. Staff is nice & friendly never get the order wrong or forget anything.

Great Chinese food! Favorite place to go by far. Online menu is way off. Its a lot more expensive than it says. Definitely a bummer. They need to update it.

This is exactly the type of restaurant located in a strip mall in Concord that I would usually drive right by without giving it a second thought. But I have a friend that has been trying to get me to come here for a while to try their Chinese food. Today I relented and went there for lunch«to give it a try.» When I walked in, it was exactly as I would have imagined, small place, limited seating, one other customer sitting there, and no ambiance at all. This can’t be good, right? I ordered the Mandarin Fried Chicken Rice Plate Lunch which came with Hot and Sour Soup. To my surprise, the soup was very good and the chicken was delicious, and there was a lot of it as well. Another reviewer said the food was bland? My food was quite spicy! The ingredients were also very fresh. Service was reasonable but our water glasses could have been refilled at some point. All in all, I learned a lesson today, or «relearned» a lesson. Never judge a book by it’s cover. I’ll be back in the future to try their other dishes. Wow!

First off I have been to a lot of Chinese restaurants so I know what decent chinese food should taste like. This place was no good. The food was greasy for every item I ordered. Greasy mandarin chicken, greasy chow-mein, greasy fried rice. Also the flavor was lacking. I was totally disappointed with the quality. I had never been here before so I was taking a chance but I feel like I wasted $ 26 on food that was lower quality than cafeteria. Go somewhere else to eat chinese, I’m sure it can’t be worse than this place. Don’t listen to the other reviews.

I have been hear before and had a Menu from a year ago, I went to get the lunch special(Mandarin Chicken) for $ 5.85 and got there and there is a new Menu and now $ 6.95 which comes with steamed rice I wanted fried rice then add another dollar now at $ 7.95, I look at the fried rice and it was just steamed rice with very little flavor and had about 10 peas a little tiny bit of carrot and very little egg C’Mon I can make better Fried Rice. The chicken was ok but it is bone in wings which I like but many people may not! Might not ever go back!

Very fresh, and very good. This is a great place to try for cheap Chinese food. The are impeccably fresh and quite busy. Don’t be fooled by the location, or size of this establishment. I would not dine in, because the ambiance is lacking, but for take out this place is fabulous. The fried rice and chow mien are very good. We also enjoyed the Orange chicken and Kung pow chicken. They do not skimp on portions, and everything is cooked to order.

This is a pretty consistently good place for takeout – we have picked up food here more than 25 times in the last few years and it has been very good all but a couple of times and it was still ok those times. The orange chicken is incredible. The orange rinds not only add to the flavor but are quite tasty on their own. We also enjoy the chow mien and fried rice – we order the combination with no beef usually but the shrimp is usually excellent as well. It is indeed a hole in the wall kind of place with no real ambience otherwise so, other than a quick solo lunch, I would not recommend anything other than take out.

Decentish food, I’ve driven by a lot and always wondered about the place. Their style of cooking reminds me of eating at someone’s house and that’s a good thing. Much better then the outside would have you believe.

I work every day until 9:00 p.m. I’m aware that a lot of restaurants close by this time, so I don’t have high expectations. But, not feeling home cooked food for some reason or other, decided to seek Unilocal for advice. I put an open now filter and a delivery filter and found this place. The reviews sounded great so I decided to give it a shot. It was 9:15, so I rushed to get an order in so as to inconvenience the restaurant as little as possible. When I attempted to place my order, I was told they were closed. I was disappointed but not terribly angry. If I were in their shoes, I might be tempted to lie to potential business, as well. Even though I was rather hungry and would have given them a fair hunk of my change tonight. But I thought I’d help them out. I tried to inform the one I was speaking to that their Unilocal page says 9:30 and that they should edit it if they do not operate, they should edit it if they care about disappointing customers. Then the conversation took a turn. He casually admitted, «Oh we closed early. Sometimes we just close early.» That did bother me. He was admitting that he just didn’t feel like operating anymore tonight. I was still maintaining calm and still wanted to help these guys out, because saying that to a less even-tempered person would not end well. So I added, «Then you should add that on certain evenings, you may close early. This way, the customer has an expectation and doesn’t feel lied to.» His reply was just, «Sometimes we close early. Sometimes we don’t. We’re closed. Okay, bye.» I kept speaking so he wouldn’t hang up and said, «Closing early is fine. I’m not fighting you on this point. I’m saying that your page presents a fact that isn’t necessarily true and you don’t want to lose business over this.» He said, «A lot of pages put our menu up, how can I find this page, you know? So sorry, we’re closed.» I replied, «It’s . I’m telling you how to find the page. And it even has an option for the owner to claim the business page so things like this may not happen. You’ll lose business if you don’t live up to what customers think you offer.» He said, «Yeah, okay. Bye.» So, since he clearly didn’t care about doing something very small to help avoid disappointing customers when I was being as helpful as I could be, I’m going to just never eat from this place. Anyone with this level of disregard for what they do doesn’t deserve money I work hard to earn. I encourage others who read reviews to make the same choice. There’s plenty of Chinese restaurants who care instead

I’m not a big Chinese food fan but this place was pretty good! Vegetable fried rice was good. Vegetable chow mien was pretty good. for some reason I haven’t had a chow mein I’ve really liked besides Panda Express lol don’t judge. Orange chicken was amazing. I had low expectations to be honest but it surprised me on how good it was. Pot stickers seem like any other pot sticker so they were alright. Fried prawns were the bomb dot com! We had it delivered and the man was very nice and friendly. Delivered all the way to my house that’s by the pavilion. Overall the food was good and filling. It just seemed.clean. That’s the word I thought of the entire time I was eating. The orange chicken had the perfect amount of marinade/sauce so it wasn’t goopy and there were no weird pieces of meat. Definitely will try them again!

WTH !!! you can walk into this place and walk right the heck out based on the smell alone. the place is run down, but that’s not a deal breaker for me, however the food was tasteless, and full of … well … gooey stuff mistaken for sauces …

Food is always good. The prices have gone up lately so it’s pricey now. We always use coupons from the mail. Our favorite if the honey walnut prawns & salt/pepper prawns.

This is the very first restaurant that my family and I really got attached to here in America back in the year 2000! We lived in the nearby apartments and this place was good and convenient. I ate here recently and the only thing that changed is the price. It used to be so cheap, which was the main reason why we went here so often. But now, it’s so pricey! The food did not really change because it’s still really good. As far as the actual setting of the restaurant… they could use some cleaning. The place is in a pretty old building. The walls are a bit icky so I don’t recommend you sitting next to it. Perhaps order take out… But overall, this place is great! I might be a little biased, but if you’re looking for tasty Chinese food, then this is the place.
