taqueria la tita is across from McD. address on register receipt reads«108 sun valley mall».not 1053 sun valley blvd typical taquera menu. tacos seem reasonable. other options not so much eats: lengua taco(1.85) –tender small cubes, bland, slight hot sauce noticed. no salsa al pastor taco(1.85) –dry, crunchy meat, hot sauce present. not good a few free chips-freshly made. frijoles refritoes: –service ok, just line up, order, pay, wait for food –food inconsistent 2.5 stars.

Giving this place even one star is a shame. Walked in and ordered 6 tacos, chicken, carne asada, & fish. When my food arrived I bit into my taco to find cold, dry meat. No lettuce, no cheese just meat & salsa. I touched my daughter’s chicken tacos and they were also cold. I ask the lady at the counter why the meat would be cold and her answer was, «she probably served the meat from the top.» Wtf??? No service recover not even a damn was given. I asked for my money back and she had no problem doing that. I thought this place wanted business. The sad thing is I’m Mexican and I’m embarrassed they call this place a taquiera, It should be called a porqueria.

I agree with the reviews for the most part… but the food was good and so was the horchata. The best option is to order to go so you don’t have to deal with the dirty tables and the disorganized atmosphere. I would go back and get take out.

WORSECUSTOMERSERVICEEVER!!! I work at the mall and I’m always trying to get decent food here since there’s nothing really in the mall. And I ordered a burrito with no beans. But the lady that was working there put beans in my burrito. So I went back and was nice about it, I told her that I think she accidentally put beans in my burrito. But she responded back very rudely and said«NO you didn’t. You said you wanted beans» As I tried to explain it to her she RUDELY cut me off, and gave me an attitude. She totally ignored me and then finally I said«are you going to remake my burrito?» And she Rudely said no. So I asked for my money back. And she gave it to me. I walked out very mad and hungry. Like seriously, honestly all I wanted was for them to remake my burrito. I wasn’t even trying to argue about it. But no, she was totally being a douche bag. She felt the need to be right. What ever happened to customers are always right? I totally know how it is to work with food because I’ve worked in food before. So I was being nice about it because I understand. But she had to be such a douche. It ruined my day. I’m NEVER going back here again. They totally lost all my respect and lost me and a couple other friends as a customer. Douche bag lady.

Here I enter the store;by looking at the other patrons I was able to pretty much tell what my experience was going to be like .I approached the counter and the girl cashier was facing her back to me chopping tomatoes so probably didn’t notice me .I waited for about 40 seconds and Another lady employee who was cooking something in the other corner about 12 feet far from this cashier said«You ready»? I said«Yes». Then that lady turned to this cashier and looked for about two seconds and then this cashier turned around without a smile and said«I take your order» I placed an order of chicken burrito and asked her the price difference between two different sizes of drinks she told me the prices then I asked her if refill was free for I was going to eat in and wouldn’t make sense to buy a bigger cup. She said yes refill is free. Now as I sat at the table waiting for my food, as I look around I notice food crumbs and scraps on all the empty tables. After about two minutes she said looking at me your food is ready. I saw her putting tortilla chips(about 10 pieces) on my plate with her bare hands. I got my food, Size of the plate, it could barely even fit my burrito, she could’ve rather kept the plate to herself. I started eating my food. In my tiny plate which at first I thought was napkin the chicken pieces were black and smelled burnt and hard to chew. About 4 minutes went by I needed to refill my small cup of soda so I got up to refill my soda, the cashier looks at me and rolls down her eyes as if I wasn’t allowed to get a refill. She had told me explicitly that refill is free and I also saw other customer getting a refill but he didn’t get a stare down from her probably because he was also their relative or a friend . as I sat down after refilling I am sure as hell she told her colleague something about me in their lingo because I caught her staring at me while jabbering. No salsa or any other dip to dip tortilla chips into. I ate two and threw away the rest. I felt the environment around me to be hostile. You will not see any classy/sophisticated patrons here. Only those who think and believe that more food is better for your money, meaning people of that sort only visit this place. There is little to no quality in their food. Customer service 1 out of 10.(For making me wait to take my order, rolling eyes at me when I refilled my soda cup etc.) food taste\quality 3 out of 10. No napkins provided. Just tortilla chips? no dip? Plate in which I got my food was extremely small about half an inch of my burrito on either side was dangling off the plate. Here’s the rating I would like to assign specially in the customer service category. The cashier charged me 1.65 for small cup of a drink. The only five star review on this site leads me to believe that she is either employee or a good friend of an employee at that store. I hate that it is located inside the mall bringing down the value of mall. I like sunvalley mall it has many classy stores, I would hate if someone judged mall by visiting this store cause that would be insulting to many other stores.

I work in the Sunvalley Mall in Concord and if anyone’s ever been to this mall the eating options are few and far between. When La Titas finally opens I was overjoyed to try them out. I have been there MANY times and I have never had an enjoyable experience. On one visit I walked in and the owners of the business had half of the restaurant essentially closed off with their children’s toys propped on it and the kids running all around in front and in the prep area. One almost every visit one woman in an employee apron is always sitting at a table and essentially setting up camp there having a ridiculously long phone conversation. The seating is also laid out awkwardly, if there is more than 1 person in line it is impossible to move around. As far as their personal touch on the restaurant having the straws and napkins still in the manufacturer box simply with the top ripped off is not a great way to market yourself. They also use styrofoam plates to hand you the food which easily break as they hand you the food over the employee entrance to the«kitchen». I have basically refused to eat there again due to the sheer lack of professionalism and the obvious lack of business knowledge going on which is unfortunate because I genuinely enjoy the food.

Idk why everyone is complaining about this spot but they probably have the best food served in the mall. I’d rather pay a few extra dollars for a meal here then put nasty Mcdonalds in my body. I tend to always order the spicy chicken meat which is yummy, I’ve seen a lot of ppl order the fluatas and they look super good. Staff can be a bit friendlier but this isn’t breakfast at Tiffanys so it’s ridiculous to have super high expectations any ways. This is definitely worth trying!

Ok so this the best spot to have for a Mexican restaurant you have thousands of people going by, I wanted to try this place before so we did and let me tel you taco bell is better, and iam saying this so they can fix it maybe, we order a gordita andit was not cooked all the way, we didn’t say anything because they were busy talking and cursing in Spanish, and they were the owners, food was bad and service too… so I definitely not recommend this place

Me and my hubby tried this place on Monday, we walked in and only 1 person eating there, we should’ve taken that as a warning. But anyways we stayed. After we ordered, we sat down to wait for our meal, as they were cooking, they were talking about their personal life… we did not need to know why the husband left her. So anyways the hubby got his meal first after a few minutes after I got mine I ordered a gordita which came out raw!!! He wasn’t impressed with his either. . I noticed she turned the grill on as we ordered our food, well no wonder my food was raw… not willing to spend my money on that place again.

Totally rip off!!! The cashier(the women in the photo) doesn’t not know how to ring up! Got over charge almost 5 bucks! Ordered 2 drinks(1.75) 2 tacos(1.85 each) and a reg burrito(5.85) charged me for 19.89. That should have been at most 16 bucks with tax!!!

This place is a thumbs down all the way. It’s located right across from McDonalds in the concord mall. Customer service and food was horrible. I purchased the horchata and it had way too much cinnamon so I asked if I could get a fountain drink instead. The young girl asked her«boss» or whoever she was and started to tell me I would have to pay for a fountain drink. After getting a few dirty looks from the«boss» she gave me a fountain drink. Then my husband ordered fajitas which came about 15 min after I got my food and they served it to him without tortillas. My husband questioned why the tortillas weren’t on his plate(you need those to eat that certain meal duh!) and she said they were being warmed up. After another 15 minutes my husband got so frustrated he told them to cancel the tortillas. I got a stomachache when I got home as well as my husband. If you come across this place I would suggest you run as fast as you can!
