SRM – ServiceMaster Recovery Management

Be afraid… Be very afraid. We had a gutter downspout come apart and put less than ¹⁄₃ of rain water in my daylight basement. Mainly a small carpeted bedroom & den area was affected. Yes they were fast to come out and extract what little rain water was in the carpets, they left a de humidifier, and a fan humming. They were to come back 3 days later to pick up their equipment but didn’t. We called them, no problem we will come tomorrow, No problem, we will come tomorrow. Do I need to repeat myself here 4 times. Needless to say well after 18 days they came back packed it up and left me with a $ 1,550.00 Bill. I did not receive any kind of an itemized statement, just a 1 page invoice «Due on receipt» Even though they did fully understand this was a extraction & de humidifier job only. Talk about getting the shaft. And did I forget to add that they gave me a discount, oh my, how nice of them.
