Nope. Sugary soggy crust. Toppings were so so. That’s not what the worst part was though. We went as a table of two. We asked the server what size pizza two people getting salad usually order. She said medium or sometimes large. Ok. We ordered a medium. Due to the fact that they only sell salads in side or family we got a family Caesar. It came and was WAY to much for two people. It would have been nice if the server to elaborate.(We later saw a family of 6 order the same giant salad.) At a «nice» pizza place the Caesar is usually made in house. Not the case here. Bottled nasty tangy dressing. «Tasted like spoiled spiced mayo» was the response from my better half. Yuck. When the waitress came back and asked if it was all going well we let her know we were surprised by the amount of salad. She asked if we wanted a box. No thanks. Ok I’ll take it away for you. Awesome. We didn’t even eat half. Then came the medium pizza that was appropriately sized for two. Nope. Way too much. The bill was the best part. Waited for a minimum of 30 minutes for the check. Won’t be back again on our own. We’ll keep Skipolini’s reserved for 8 years and under birthdays like it should be.

Seriously gone downhill. Our house salad reminded me of the midwest in the 70s. Canned veggies and iceberg lettuce. We ordered a mushroom and garlic pizza. There was enough garlic for a hundred pizzas. Absolutely inedible, and I’ll eat just about any pizza there is. Never going back. Two stars because the server was cool and comped it, even offered to make us a free pie to go. Good job.

Tasty food and nice location! Good place to eat. The service was lacking and slow. We asked for the outside table but after 30min became really cold and we requested to be moved inside. The waitress did not help us at all with the plates and we carried everything inside. They were no busy at this time.

Come here and enjoy the lunch special. Service is excellent!!! Monster pizza is really monster sized. Garlic bread sticks are yuuum! The cookie is ok, kinda tastes like chips ahoy. The Cesar salad is just right to balance the meal. But there are tv’s everywhere(football nfc/afc championships on every channel right now) which doesn’t bother me. Adjacent to the parking garage and not a far walk. Ambiance is relaxed. Need a break from work/office? Come here!

Love this pizza. It’s definitely on the pricer side but the ingredients are always fresh, delicious, service is great. I love their Cesar salads. They are to die for. Great place for kids and families too!

Came here for the Prego pizza for my daughter. She loved it! The rest of us ordered our own pizzas and they were good too. Service was good and the place started to get packed! The restaurant was clean and the location was great. Now let’s just hope the Prego pizza helps my daughter have my grandson

We have always loved Skip’s but usually go to the Clayton store. We went downtown today with the office to celebrate a birthday. Big mistake! The six of us were seated and ordered a couple of Caesar salads with chicken. A couple bowls of minestrone, a wedding soup, a panini, and a house salad with a slice of pizza. The food came out after a long wait in dribs and drabs. The soups were nothing short of gross. They looked and tasted like someone added warm water to the soups to extend them. They were watery, lacked taste and the liquid was separating from whatever else was in there leaving a layer of clear liquid above the dismal excuse for minestrone soup. The wedding soup was cold. We told the waitress to take the soups we didn’t want them. She said she would remove them from the bill. She didn’t and I had to ask the manager to remove them. He did. He was at the cash register. While at the cash register waiting, this dirty, scroungy looking guy came up to the cash register. He had an apron on and I think he came out of the kitchen. Honestly, if I had seen him anywhere near the kitchen before we ate, I would have walked out. After about 15 minutes I finally got my cup of coffee, but was never asked if I wanted a refill. The service was horrible — horrible! Later in the day both my wife and I got gassy G.I. issues. I’m going to call the health department. I won’t go back to Skips in this location. This place has gone horribly downhill and I wonder if the owners know. It was awful.

This was my first visit to any Skipolinis. I was taken there after a movie date and we ordered a combination pizza with the cheesy garlic bread. We were kinda full from eating popcorn at the movies and only ate a little of the bread pizza and asked for the rest to go. Sadly, we forgot our leftovers which was pretty much the whole pizza minus a couple slices. :-(I was bummed. But it was good and the staff was efficient and friendly.

I got the dooks of hazard from this place. No bueno. Tasted great, but did not agree with me. Not the case with the Antioch location, but something happened here and ruined the old g.i. tract.

Service was horrible. Pizza order was wrong. I asked for extra sauce, none! Ask for sliced tomatoes on whole pizza came on half. Asked for basil i could not find any! Barley any sausage on pizza. Edge of pizza was like 2″. I will never go back to any skipolinis. I understand they have to make money, BUT i work hard for my money and when i pay $ 40 for a pizza expect it to be hardy. I had five Big pieces before I even filled full. Totally not worth the money bad quality bad service no thank you!

The service was excellent although one of the pizza was made wrong. They gave us the incorrect order(for free), and the correct pizza came out a little later. Since the waitress was very polite and friendly, I am giving 3 stars for great service, but the pizza didn’t impress me. My son enjoyed his chicken wings, and pizza did taste fresh but it lacked flavor.

4 starts because the customer service was lacking. Came in with my boyfriend and luckily got seated right away. Unfortunately, it took about 15 minutes for the waitress to come and even acknowledge us and take our drink orders. We ordered a medium pizza a la carte(about 8 slices) & it was amaaaazing!

Service was slow on a day they were clearly understaffed but the food was as good as always. We arrived and we’re seated quickly then proceeded to wait 20 minutes before anyone even took our drink order. There appeared to only be one server on duty, and when who I believe to be manager started to help they only took care of half of the tables(some of which were seated after us) to the point of those tables getting drinks and food prior to our even being asked about drinks. We were informed the server had an accident so they were behind, but clearly she had been serving the other tables for 15 minutes of our sitting there prior to the accident. Finally, when the manager came to tell us about the accident, we had to ask for our order to be taken. It finally was and everything else went smoothly. I also want to applaud the kitchen staff for stepping up and helping, from running food to getting drinks to even seating people. The delay prior to the accident could and should have been handled differently but the food was delicious.

We’ve been here quite a few times but twice in the last month. Both times we had phenomenal service. Today, 6÷15÷15, out server Jose M. was proficient and friendly which made our visit fun. He was attentive to our needs and made sure we had everything we wanted even before we asked. As for the pizza, it’s pretty good(but that’s based on my personal preferences). They have a great outdoor seating and a semi-private room for large groups. I would definitely recommend Skipolini’s Pizza(Concord).

I ate here last night. This was my first experiences and I anticipate many more. Their black and white pizza was… well there is no words to describe the combination of flavors. It was just so tasty. I love the balanced crust. Not too thick not too thin. It was just right. I was shocked to find that it was a chain restaurant considering how authentic the pizza tasted. The customer service was pretty slow. But the food made up for it.

1st time here !! Great set up and nice out side seating !! Was a little under staffed and had to wait longer for out appetizers to come to our table. I could see it on the warmer sitting there !! The pizza was amazing I would definitely recommend the Bettega! Wow The skip dips are a good starter too but very filling and large could feed up to four people. The service was good the waiter had a friendly nice sense or humor This is a great place to come seat down enjoy your pizza and also catch what ever sport game is on tv ! Nice pizza joint with your choice of inside or out side seating !

Wonderful service, cute and clean interior. The waitress was friendly and service was fast. On a Sunday afternoon, there was nobody there so we had our pick of the seats and we chose to enjoy the day outside. Everything was perfect! — except the pizza itself, which is kind of a big thing considering it’s in the restaurant’s name. It wasn’t bad or inedible, it just wasn’t mind-blowingly delicious. We had a small«Creamy Pesto» pizza and Garlic Bread to accompany our drinking problem. Maybe I love butter too much but that Garlic Bread was DELICIOUS! The creamy pesto pizza, on the other hand, was bland. I really expected to taste some creamy pesto but all I got was fresh veggies on top of chewy dough. I can see myself coming here again one day. Maybe next time I’ll order a classic pizza instead of getting fancy.

I have made a promise to myself. Unless I am buying pizza for a bunch of kids, I will no longer eat pizza from a Dominos or PaPa Murphys. A few weeks back the fam was craving REAL pizza and Skipolinis came to mind. I hadn’t been there since their only place was in Clayton and only for the Preggo pizza as I was 9 ½ months pregnant. Fast foward 16 years and they are in Todos Santos plaza. So quick check on Unilocal and off we went! We ordered the family Ceaser salad and cheesy bread to start. Kids ripped that up. Then we ordered the large pie, half Greek and half meat. Both halves were yummy and fresh tasting. Dough was not chewy but not crispy. I never eat the crust but I did this time! We returned a week later and ordered the same. This time we sat outside. Consistantly good. My new promise to myself. to order a different pizza next time.

Our first date was at this Skip’s 5 years ago — we came back with a couple friends last night for pizza and had a great time. The place was completely full when we came around 8 pm on a Friday, but we were seated at a comfortable booth within 15 minutes. The servers and hosts are super friendly and funny, and added to the overall experience. We ordered the Family Caesar($ 11 w/no meat), which easily fed 4 people. Big on the fresh parmesan! It came with garlicky croutons, and was not overdressed; it was a great salad for a starter. The family-size specialty pizzas run around $ 30, but easily feed 4 hungry people and you can get 2 different kinds on one pie — we went with the O’Chaska(my personal fave — garlic sauce with chicken, garlic, tomatoes, and spinach) and the Pesto Primavera(pesto sauce with zucchini, fresh tomatoes, and other veggies). The pizzas are fresh, not greasy, not soggy, and have a great crust. It’s a little strange that the majority of their specialty pies are on pesto or white sauce, but there’s nothing stopping you from building your own creation. They’ve got great beers on tap(Widmer Hef is always a win), which come in 16 oz, 22 oz, or pitchers. I actually prefer drinking here to other bars in the area — they also have many wines and a house sangria. Also, huge bonus points for not covering the floors of this location with sawdust. Great for a date night, family night, or mid-week pizza craving. Definitely looking forward to going back!
