Horrible service, if I could they would get«0» stars, after waiting for 30 mins for our food to be served, my food was super cold to where the fish and chips were soggy. The waitress said she would bring me a new one, and I’m not sure if she reheated that quick but it was about 30 secs from her walking back and she was bringing out the plate again. I told her it was ok I didn’t want it. The manager wasn’t even trying to help all they said was they would take it off the bill. I will never eat here again.

Worst place I have ever had the unfortunate experience to land myself, but then again I don’t expect much from ghetto. Customer service 101: May attention to your customers, greet them and assistant them. Without your patrons, you wouldn’t have an establishment, nor would you have a job. So rub that nasty look off your face and get with the program. I don’t care that you hate your job. You either do it well or leave. I’m dining out to enjoy, and I use this term rather loosely, the food, and some socializing with friends. I’m in customer service and hospitality. It can be annoying, frustrating and you want to stab people in the neck with your pencil. But stab them with a smile. I’ve been there and done that, pushed my way through it because it’s professional. Professionals are what separates the great employees from the lazy ones. We came to this joint as a quick meal with a group of friends. I will say it was a large group, maybe like 8. No one at the podium. We stand around and wait. A waitress walks up, punches things around the podium then leaves. Another employees comes, messes around and then leaves. All the while, no acknowledgement that there are people standing waiting to be served. Are you that busy and mindless that you can’t say, «Hello, we’ll be right with you.». Okay, it’s been 15 minutes, I’ve lost my patience for being ignored. We round up our troops and leave. Good bye, I won’t be back. I don’t recommend this place, you’ll probably go hungry before any one bothers saying hi to you.

When I was a kid stuck shopping at the mall with my mom, I loved this place… It’s gotten so bad that it pains me to write this review. Last time we were here a girl who was very confident in demeanor took our order then left us hanging… For 40 minutes. Then acted like everything was okay… This time. I got a flat tire then called in a to go order. The same person took my order saying«great! I’ll tell the bartender!» When I got there 20 minutes later, the bartender had no clue what was going on and the server was on her cell phone. And talking about how the old bartender was incompetent and drunk all the time… Really? So disappointing. Please tighten up red robin.

Great service, Great food one of my favorite spots. Plus I get to watch T. V and the fry’s are endless. Food service can be a little slow but that’s normal to any business when busy.

Our waiter made very bad jokes. We were never asked if we wanted more fries. Beer selection was horrible. Red Robin has just gone down hill.

Went in today to get a salad on my lunch break… yeah, I know it’s a burger joint. What should I expect right? First off, the bar where I ordered my food smelled like an old dirty sponge or even more vivid of a description: one of those pee pee smelling corners in a dark alley in SF that you walk past in the Tenderloin… gross right? I should have turned around and walked out, but people were eating in there so I overuled my judgment as overreacting… Fast forward to my food: ordered an «Insane Romaine» to go. It was supposed to be an open faced fire-grilled salad wedge with toppings… when I opened the box it was a sad romaine lettuce head split in two and dipped in olive oil; it was so oily it was inedible!

Apparently, Red Robin wants to join the long list of restaurant chains that once burned brightly but fizzled and are dying a slow death. Coincidentally, SLOW would also be the operative word for service and efficiency at this location. It took 10 minutes after being seated to be greeted by a server. Another 7 minutes for drinks to arrive. An additional 20 minutes for the appetizer to be dropped off, and entrées arrived roughly 45 minutes after being seated. Clearly, food expediters and runners are scarce here as the food arrives barely warm and a bit ‘aged.’ Odd, since some woman in the kitchen can be heard screeching and barking orders every few minutes. Pick up a frozen burger at the convenience store and nuke it — you will be better off and save time.

Stopped in for lunch today. Had a burger with straw type onions. It was very greasy and soggy, the fries served with my meal were lacking as well. The long one sticking out of the cone was brown, due to it being from a bad potato. The cook should of caught this. As well as the server. The lady seated next to me had the same issues. Server brought me additional fries which were crisp, hot and were the redeeming factor of the meal. I can’t say that I would return to this location since there are so many options in the area.

My boyfriend and I had a date night here the waitress was very nice and attentive I forgot what her name was but she was Hispanic and very humble. Besides the waitress going beyond her duties the food was excellent. Thank you so much for making our date night the best.

I’m sorry this place sucks majorly, I’ll never in my life eat at this place again burger was terrible and the fries were cold. Couldn’t get my order correct as well. Maybe if I drank a few beers I’d think it was better. LOLNOT

The above rating takes into account my previous experiences – based on today, it would get one star. Quickly, the pros are the food and the comfortable seating. The cons are the customer service and soda quality. I came in on Christmas Eve day and it was busy. The computers had just shut down so they were kinda in a mini-crisis, having to write everything down. I had my usual Whiskey River burger and a Dr. Pepper. The soda was off. This seems to happen every other time I’m there. I’m not crazy or a soda snob, but I do know what properly carbonated and flavored soda should taste like. One time they took a new one from a different line and it was fine, but this time that trick did not work. And by the time I got the re-issue, the food was cold, so another long wait… the burger was spot-on and the fries about average. I just went with ice water though I had to belly up to the bar and ask it for myself. I would also have to ask for more fries. So from the time I said the second soda was not up to snuff, I was completely ignored by my server. Someone else came with the re-issued burger. In fact the entire area(the table portion of the bar) seemed to be largely ignored. I was never once checked on by anybody to see how the food was, if I needed anything, etc. Several times I saw my server and/or other employees gathered together, standing or sitting and chatting. No one seemed stressed out(they did have to close the restaurant to new customers temporarily due to the computer issue), all I heard was one complain to another about being open on Christmas Eve. At the conclusion of the meal I spoke to the manager. He comped part of it and apologized, but more so he was defending the staff, blaming everything on the computer issue and on the fact that the waitstaff is young and is so used to computers that they don’t know how to compensate by writing everything down. He was trying to teach them, but it’s very difficult for them, he said. I work in a restaurant and I know that events like the computer crash can mess everything up, combined with a busy hour, but… the servers can still go around and check on people, see if they need anything, and be friendly. It’s customer service 101. Of all the times I’ve come here, I don’t know if I’ve ever been greeted(or warmly, anyways) by the hostesses or hosts. One of the women who works the bar is about as friendly as a fence post. Typically plenty of servers are present but they like to group up in certain areas. It’s a shame because this could be and should be a 5-star joint. It’s a little on the expensive side for me, and it can be hit-and-miss. One time my partner got cold fries. I’ve had a stale bun before. Another time they inexplicably cut the burger in half. Despite such glitches when it’s right the food is so delicious that I have always forgiven. After today’s experience, however, I’m not sure I’ll ever be back.

if I can give this –5 I definitely would. I mean c’mon, we decided to come here yesterday to have dinner. We came and sat down and waited to get some service. The lady came to us and she said she will be right with us, we said ok. 10min later, still no service. we were still waiting, then 5min she goes to us and said the same thing but those times she kept helping and assisting other customers even the customers that came right after that. for me that was really rude. she could have taken our drinks or something but instead she kept ignoring us. we were gonna leave but finally the other lady came to us and apologize then took our order… after 30min of waiting our food finally came, and guess what. the food was cold, my burger and fries was not cook at all. so when we got our food we asked for ranch the guy said he will be right out, and he never came back out. I was so aggravated and disappointed. worst customer service and food service ever! we will never come back here again.

What a mess! I don’t expect a whole lot out of restaurant chains like Red Robin, but what I experienced here was a total letdown. I made the mistake of deciding to come here on a weekend. This Red Robin is attached to the Sunvalley Mall and with it being the holiday shopping season, it was packed to maximum capacity. Upon entering the restaurant there was a row of strollers practically blocking the doorway. That could be very dangerous if there was a fire or something. Not a good start to the evening. Once seated we were quickly greeted by our waitress. She was very nice and helpful. I noticed not such a great attitude from the other waitresses I saw. I saw several glaring at people and rolling their eyes as they«helped» their tables. The food was okay. We ordered some onion rings to start and when they arrived we were told they were out of plates. Like, what?! How can a restaurant be out of plates? We waited and waited, and when we finally got some our rings were cold. I had a chicken burger that had cheese on it. Well… kinda. The cheese pretty much slipped right off the burger as soon as I took a bite. The atmosphere was terrible. They had a Warriors game playing on the TV and while I do get that they have a bar section, it’s still a restaurant too. People were hooting and hollering the entire time. It’s a restaurant people, NOT a sports bar. It was pretty much impossible to have a conversation with all the noise going on. Red Robin has recently implemented a table side touchscreen device that I personally do not like. You’re supposed to order appetizers, bar drinks, and pay your bill on it. I would just rather order through my waitress and pay her directly. It just seems like a silly extra step to go through. The bad atmosphere and underwhelming food of this Red Robin has left a poor impression on me. What saved them from a one star rating was our great waitress. I will not be back though.

My family and I have been coming here for years since they offer gluten free burger options for my wife. We have always enjoyed the staff and food here. The reason for 2 stars is their new«Ziosk» tablet at the table. My 3 year old started playing a game and then we were hit with a $ 1.99 «entertainment» fee. I think it’s pretty shady that the Ziosk doesn’t have any parental controls at all. My son can’t buy apps on my iPhone without my approval, so why is it he can charge $ 1.99 without our say so. $ 2 isn’t much, and I don’t mind paying it, but to have no parental approval needed at all is shady and possibly illegal. How many families just pay the bill without even looking at the itemized list of charges. I think Red Robin should be ashamed of themselves. This is a horrible tactic to get money from families on their night out. I rate them 4 stars as far as staff and food and 1 star for the Ziosk.

Staff is nice, but not very attentive. We were seated promptly and the kids’ food came out pretty fast. Problem is, they couldn’t start eating for another 10 minutes while we waited for utensils. I was also not so thrilled to see an «entertainment fee» on my bill. Apparently if you let the kids play on the cool tablets they leave at the table a this fee is added to the bill. The manager took it off but still, I feel like they tried to nickel and dime me(OK, several nickels and dimes!, LOL). Food was OK, may return someday, but certainly no time soon.

I love Red Robin. I love the fact that they offer gluten free buns for their burgers! Thank you! The bartender at this location, however was not nearly as attentive as others have been at other locations. We chose to sit at the bar and the staff seems to utilize this area for pick up orders, dirty glass racks and an «employee whining station». Shame. They were not busy but managed to forget my friends sweet potato fries… :-(

Tonight we came in here to have dinner. We weren’t greeted upon entering and quickly noticed that a couple parties in the bar hadn’t gotten any service yet. We should have known at that point that we probably wouldn’t have a good experience. A few minutes later we were greeted by the host and seated. After looking through the menu and getting really excited about what we wanted(pumpkin spice milkshake? hell yeah) we realized that no one had bothered to greet us. Servers, and even the manager, would walk right by us and no one seemed to care that we were sitting there. After 15 minutes of looking around like idiots we finally got up and left and went to Chili’s, where we we had drinks and an appetizer in under 10 minutes. I get that restaurants can be busy. I was a waitress for over 6 years. But the least someone could have done is walk up to us and let us know they’d be right with us. Since no one bothered, we went and spent over $ 60 at their competitor. And we won’t be back.

What in the hell has happened to you Red Robin? You used to be so freaking amazing. You were a place where a burger lover can go to actually get a decent burger. That ship has sailed apparently because my last two times at this location the burger has been way underwhelming. The problem lays in the actual burger patty itself and not any of the condiments that cover it. The burgers are absolutely flavorless now. A little salt and a little pepper would do freaking wonders for the burger. All the condiments in the world can’t mask the taste of a tasteless burger. Even though the service is usually quite good here, sometimes it can be spotty. Case in point: The last time we came here there was a new guy bussing tables. He was trying pretty hard to clear the tables in a timely manner and in the process accidently banged a few classes together which were a little loud. It was no big deal and nothing was broken. The woman standing at the hostess stand however thought differently since she had to loudly make fun of him. The guy paid no notice to her and kept on his way. The hostess however needs a serious attitude adjustment. I really hope this location can get it together and soon because I as I stated before, I love Red Robin. I want to continue loving Red Robin so please fix it.

This location delivered SHOCKING disappointments tonight. After contacting corporate to discuss previous bad experiences, we returned with the generous gift card to make good on the offer to make it up to us. Instead I had one of my all time worst experiences. 1) We ordered the small size buffalo boneless wings appetizer. We found a single slice of deep fried pepperoni in the basket. I don’t know of any items on the menu that include pepperoni, but nevertheless, buffalo wings certainly don’t. 2) As I tried to cut a wing in half with a fork, I was unable to cut it. I looked closer and saw the inside of the chicken was completely raw. Thank god I didn’t just have a bite, you can kill people with chicken this raw. 3) As we were getting ready to leave, a bus boy carrying a tray of dishes went to put the tray on the table next to us to clear it, and instead hit the chair, rattling the dishes. It startled us, but no harm done. We were sitting in the bar very near the hostess stand. We heard the hostess turn to the bus boy and say«Is this your first day?» VERY loudly. He looked embarassed and nodded yes. She replied«GOODJOB». I assumed she was teasing him but I turned and looked at her, and her face was filled with rage towards him. This girl’s name is Stevie, and she was definitely the same girl who did the thing with the menus from my previous review. She is unbelievably rude and unprofessional, it’s mindboggling. She is cruel and heartless to coworkers shamelessly in front of customers. In my estimation after repeat visits, she is a terrible employee that should be let go. I had high hopes that this experience would be better, after being told my feedback was given to this location’s management. I don’t know if that’s true, or if they care, because this visit was among the all time worst. Raw chicken and cruel unprofessional employees are unforgivable offenses. This Red Robin can officially go straight to Hell, because that’s what eating there is like nowadays. The corporate company and founders would be ashamed to know this is what their business has come to.
