Publix

The store is clean and well kept. The staff are friendly and helpful and they seem to actually enjoy their job, something not seen a whole lot these days. The quality of their items is very good as well. The produce is fresh and the deli meats are too. You can even have them make you a sub and eat it in the little dinning area they have set up if you want to. Yes the prices are higher than some other places but as I said the staff are friendly, unlike some «Super Big Box» grocery stores where the staff runs from you when you have a question. If you are looking for a store with good quality and where you feel welcomed then give Publix a try.

For a new store it is not clean. Bakery sells canolis prefilled, they get soggy that way. I really don’t care how many hours the bakery employee worked that day, can I have my stuff please.
Outdated potato salad at the deli. Poorly trained employee making sub with meat on the cutting board. Rude person working the self check out area. She raised her voice to me when I told the self check out station was dirty. Do I have scan my food over the finger prints?

I’m so happy Publix has finally made it’s way to my home state. I lived in Florida, where Publix is based, for years and loved shopping at Publix.
Other reviews have stated that prices are expensive at Publix but I believe you get what you pay for. Service is ALWAYS amazing. Quality has never been an issue for me but if I ever had an issue Publix would gladly resolve the issue. I know this is a new store but EVERY Publix store I have been into has been clean and a pleasure to shop in regardless of its age.
I enjoy shopping at Publix so much that drive 4 miles out of my way, passing two other grocery stores on the way, just to shop at Publix.

Like most people around here, on Dec 2^nd when they had their grand opening I checked it out and yes the store is new and clean and they were giving out free samples but the prices were scary expensive. Don’t get me wrong, there were some deals like the buy one get ones but overall I’d say Food Lion is cheaper by far for the same exact thing. With stores like food lion, aldis and trader joes I just don’t see them doing that well here. Sorry I just can’t afford almost $ 2 for a yogurt and expensive wines and cheese. Pretty disappointed when I saw how inflated the prices were… No thanks.

My house is a Publix Household Now! Let me tell you why:
Quality. The freshness of produce you find at Publix is second to none. It actually reminds me of a CERTAIN grocery store chain that has their roots in Charlotte, that unfortunately have slipped over the years in freshness of produce. The meat department and deli also has the best selection and quality I have seen.
Service. Blown away by the staff here. It is an absolute pleasure to talk with the people in this store. Helpful and friendly, the staff I have talked to are also very knowledgeable in their department.
History. Publix cares about their brand, people, and community. Unlike virtually every other chain in the Charlotte-​Metro, Publix is an Employee-​Owned company. Whereas the other major grocery stores in Charlotte are publicly traded and your average shareholder has no interest in the actual business, only the profits it produces. Publix is so passionate about their business because they put their money where their mouth is and are truly invested in their own success!
My career path gives me a distinct opportunity to see what every major chain is doing, and Publix is above and beyond the competition; in fact, they set the bar and put it on the shelf where the kids cant reach it! Congratulations to Denise and your Team, looking forward to many visits here!!!
