There is no reason why this patient and have five stars it is a little Filipino place in the middle of Concord but it has really good Filipino food. I am Filipino and I grew up eating Filipino food and I love this place the sweetest little lady works at the counter and the food is amazing

I love the food from Oriental Food Market. Real authentic and reasonably priced. Maybe not as good as grandma used to make, but it comes very close to it! Fresh tasting, not overly seasoned. The vegetable lumpia and lechon are my favorites! I’ve ordered to serve at parties– always a big hit, even with Filipinos who really know how to cook their lechon and lumpia. The service is always friendly, perhaps because it’s a family owned store. Very personal unlike the big stores.

This is a great place to grab some fresh filipino home cooking. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. I actually purchased my ticket to the philippines here last year and they had the best price. Now when I want to feel like I’m back in the philippines I stop by oriental market for a bite and a smile by the way the lechon roasted pig is off the hook. I highly recommend and support this business and the kind staff and owners.

My family and I attended an annual fiesta last Sunday in Walnut Creek and these guys were the caterer hired to provide the food and serve during the event which I thought was a joke! Let me get straight to the point by saying these people should not be allowed to cater any parties or big events. The food wasn’t that great and the portion size were tablespoon size portions. When my father in-law asked for an extra serving, the other server whispered to the other server not to give out too much food… REALLY? But then I guess it’s good thing that they served small proportions because I wouldn’t have the stomach to eat anymore of their food. After we left, my 6 yr old commented how bad the food was and asked if we can stop somewhere to do a take out LOL.

My go to place for lunch! Great selection on food and drinks! Love their beef kaldereta and lechon paksiw! Great price for a 2 entrée, and the servings are always generous! Great customer service, ate Sherrie as busy as she is, greets me by name, always! Thanks for everything! Now, I’m craving for some paksiw!

Best Filipino food in Concord! It’s like eating a really good home-cooked meal. Me and my husband loves to eat Filipino food that tastes like home. This is a legit place if you are looking for good Filipino food! Their Lechon is the best, the ratio of skin vs meat is really equal and still crispy even the day after!!! Caldereta is the best too, actually everything tastes good. I wish I work next to this place so I can just go have lunch here everyday! They catered my son’s first birthday and every dish is a hit! I highly recommend Sherrie and her husband Alex if you are looking for really good and affordable Filipino food catering!

Looking for a home cooked Filipino breakfast? This place has the best longanisa. Only $ 4 gets you longsilog with garlic rice! Looks like we found our new favorite breakfast spot.

We ordered a Lechon pig for a company party I was hosting. Sherrie and Alex were super friendly and helpful with ironing out the details of ordering/delivery of the pig. When the pig arrived, it looked/smelled amazing and tasted even better! It was a huge success and we were able to feed 45 – 50 people on the one pig! The sides(Chicken Adobo, Lumpia, Chicken Apritada and Veggie Stirfry) we had were delicious as well. I would highly recommend coming here, well worth the travel from SF to Concord for! Thanks Sherrie!

If you want simple Filipino food true to it’s origins, this is the place to go. It reminds me of food from carinderias in the provinces back home. The Grocery has tons of unique Filipino products. I got aligue(crab fat) in a bottle, and created an awesome aligue fried rice to die for(litterally) :).

Came in here after eating at the Chinese restaurant next door. Seems to have a small selection of items but they offer a lot of services. Worth a visit to support their business.

Oriental Food Market is a great place to satisfy your Filipino breakfast cravings. For $ 3.99, you can get 2 eggs, garlic rice, and a meat choice(pork or chicken adobo, loganisa, tapa, tocino, hot dog, spam). While you wait for your food, peruse through the aisles of the store for some Filipino groceries and snacks. I found some chicharon to bring back home… yum! They also have a lunch menu and offer other services such as catering, movie rentals, cargo shipping, and money remittance.

Trying Filipino breakfas(with Danny) for the first time! «Tapa», and«Tocino». It was good. They also have a few good grocery items, and prepared foods. I liked the fried tilapia, and ube. Want to try their ube milkshake!

I wish we could give half stars. If I could I’d give this place a 2 ½. My Filipina friend brought me here and I think it was only her 2nd time. We ordered several items so we could share and eat family style. We tried: Pork lumpia — small, tasted okay but nothing special Beef steak — it looked and was a little dry but the flavor was good and the meat tender Dinuguan — if you don’t know what it is, I’m not telling but I will say it was quite tasty. It doesn’t look so good either but it was good. You must like vinegar and eat with rice. Menudo — I enjoyed it but my friend didn’t because of the raisins. I didn’t eat the raisins. Chicken Adobo — chicken was tender and pretty good. All in all it was okay. I would go again and try some of their other things I can’t pronounce.
