I really liked seeing the owls there and walking the nature trails. It was very beautiful and I enjoyed my time. Not too far from the Audubon is cool apple picking farm!

Love this place. Make it one of your stops in New Hampshire. One of the things I like most about it is that it’s very educational, it has a large room attached to it, and there are plenty of hiking trails.

Wish we had more time here to hike some of the trails, but we enjoyed visiting the large shady enclosure housing re-habbed raptors — peregrine falcon, red-tailed hawk, bald eagle, barred owl and screech owl. Most had permanent wing damage from getting hit by cars — sad, but a good opportunity to see these wild creatures up close. The building has classroom space and a group of very young naturalists were preparing to go on a walk — complete with bird-shaped nametags, small binoculars and water bottles. There is a nice gift shop with books on New Hampshire and birding, t-shirts, bird feeders and nature-themed gift items.
