This is the worse cardiologist I have ever dealt with in my 40 years of being a congential heart paitent. No one knows your body, and heart like you? Right!!! I kept telling Dr. Kavanaugh I feel a tight pressure in my chest (it felt like 200 elephants sitting on my heart), I had been rushed to the ER @ Mt. Diablo a handful of times, to be released stating I am to complex, and there’s nothing wrong with my heart. I was born with Hypo-​Plastic Left Ventricle, have had a ASD repair, and 3 Aoartic Valve replacements… So I knew something wasn’t right, my heart hasn’t felt like this in many many moons. It finally took a Cardiac Rehab Nurse to see I need real professional care and sent my records and myself to UCSF to the Congential Heart Defect Department… I was seen right away, and given a catherization and found my mitral valve was going south, and my pulmonary hyper-​tension was getting worse and worse. I’ve had the work up done for a heart-​transplant, but my with cancer in my medical past has prohibited me to recieve one. But now I am being heard, and not being pushed aside as I know nothing of the cardiac-​thoraic needs of a congential heart paitent for 40 years…
Plus, it takes 5 – 6 months to get a appt anyways, to be pushed a side.
