Julita S Patil, DDS

If you don’t like going to the dentist than you haven’t been to Julita Patil’s office. When I go to her office, she and her staff make me feel like family. The staff is incredibly welcoming, the waiting room is cozy, and they truly listen to what you say. When you first go to their office as a new client, a hygienist takes the time to see what is important to you about your teeth, your smile, and your overall dental hygiene. She then relays the information you shared to Dr. Patil in front of you showing that she was paying attention and genuinely interested in providing you with the service you desire.
I take care of my teeth, but had the misfortune of breaking a tooth; they rearranged schedules to get me into the office sooner than later and eased my discomfort. Because of the technology they have onsite, a crown was made within a few hours THE SAME DAY!
I was referred to her by a co-​worker when I relocated to the East Bay and have referred her to friends and colleagues. I enjoy going to the dentist twice a year and wish you the same pleasant experience when you visit Dr. Patil’s office for your dental needs.

My experiences there started off well, but I’m not sure if Dr Patil was just having a bad day or what it was, but the last time I went there something seemed different and while most of the staff is nice enough, she can come off a little abrasive so if you’re a sensitive person, you can leave there feeling really badly about yourself. Especially if you suffer from anxiety already. Other than that, the office is nice and the front desk staff is friendly and they’re super attentive. I think that sometimes it’s just a bad fit with people and it’s easy to hurt people’s feelings if one isn’t careful with how they come across.

This review is long overdue!!! Without a doubt the best Dentist and team I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I continued to see Dr. Patil even after I moved to Pacifica. That’s more than a hour away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I actually have had some very bad experiences with Dentists in the past and can say they brought back my faith in the practice. I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist, even for cavities and other procedures. Dr. Patil takes her time and is a skilled professional. Kathy is a master of her craft and will make sure your teeth and gums are well taken care of. They also paid close attention to my personal needs and were responsible for bringing my gums and teeth back into tip top shape. I would bring my kids, wife family and friends here.

After looking for a good dentist for many years, I thought I would give Dr Patil a try based on a friend’s recommendation. I no longer will be looking. This was the best experience I have had at a dentist’s office ever. When I walked in, I was greeted by the friendliest staff, and was taken in pretty quickly to a chair. My hygienist, Kathy, was so friendly, was very thorough and really painless. She took her time with me, and I didn’t feel like she was rushed. She gave me some god tips on how to keep my problem spots clean. Dr Patil, then examined me. I felt like she was thorough, knowledgable and went over my xrays with me. I had a cavity, and she went over all of my options with me patiently, and came up with a treatment plan I was happy with. My whole visit was painless, and they made me felt like they cared. Overall, a quality establishment, and I would recommend them to everyone.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Patil yesterday, and it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m a partially disabled combat veteran who suffers from both anxiety and PTSD and Dr. Patil and her entire staff are so incredibly friendly and attentive that all of the dread and anxiety that I was feeling just dissipated with their gentle and effective care. From the helpful and friendly people at the front desk to her lovely assistants to her informative, kind, and gentle nature, I really feel like I lucked out and found the best dentist ever! =) She called me a few days before my initial appointment to ease some of my concerns and talk about how it would go, she called right after my appointment to make sure everything went well, and I have never felt so incredibly happy with the level of friendly service anywhere. If I could give ten stars, I would. The exam itself went well and her assistants did a wonderful job too! I brought my girlfriend along and they were super friendly to her too, letting her sit in the exam room with me to alleviate some of my tension and anxiety. I don’t think I’m ever going to go to anybody else ever again, regardless of where I live! It honestly was that comfortable. I know I’m not the only one who’s sort of nervous and anxious about dentistry, and for others who feel that way, there is literally nowhere better that you can go than to Dr. Patil’s office. The assistant that I had (Catherine, but I’m not sure if she spells it with a C or a K!) was super friendly and patient even though I was having a terribly difficult time with some of the X-​rays for the back teeth, where it was difficult to keep the films in place long enough to get a clean X-​ray. All in all, I’ve never felt more taken care of or more accommodated anywhere, and this former «anti-​dentite» (for you Seinfeld fans!) can’t wait to go back! =)

I just got my first crown today and Dr. Patil made it easy! She has new technology that allows for the crown to be made right then and there so I didn’t have to come back! Being a busy mom with 3 kids this made my life so much easier. I hate the sound of drilling and she had head phones I could plug in my phone when I forgot mine! She explained the whole process and was so kind. She let me take pictures along the way so I could show my class at school! She chatted with me and made me so comfortable! Her staff was super friendly too! I’ve seen her for years and I have a very low pain tolerance and she has worked with me to find what works for me. My kids love going there as well!

Dr. Patil and her entire staff are amazing. The office is extremely clean, relaxing and professional. I am a very busy person and they were aware of my desire to start and finish my appointment on time while providing quality care. The Doctor herself listened to everything I had to say and we had a real discussion about the treatment I needed and what I could put off for later. Overall, I can’t recommend her any higher.

And… forgot to mention. They send a picture card of your little one congratulating them on their first dental visit. My little girl loved seeing her picture of her in the dentists chair!

Can you say ‘A GOD SEND’? That is how I feel when my whole family started seeing Dr. Patil. Dr. Patil and her staff are wonderful. They make the whole dentist experience something you look forward to. I highly recommend her for all your dental needs. Dr. Patil will educate you about your overall dental health and you will be more inclined to take better care of your teeth and gums. Once again, Dr. Patil is a wonderful dentist so contact her office and make an appointment to see her.

I came to Dr. Patil today for my first consultation and checkup… a referral from my fiancé, who has been going here for years. What a WONDERFUL experience (and I hate going to the dentist with a passion). They could not have provided better service. The receptionist stopped what she was doing, came to the patient room from behind her counter to shake my hand and explain the necessary paperwork to me! That’s a first. The place is spotless, new equipment, friendly assistants all around and Dr. Patil was really nice and gentle (it had been 18 months since my last visit). Great advice about how to move forward with good care. No wait, which is considerate as we all work. Their hygienist was very friendly, gentle and concerned about my experience and how she could make it better. Anyway, I’d go on, but this should be enough. To finish it off, Dr. Patil gave me a followup call after her last appointment to make sure I had a great experience and to see if I had any questions or if there was anything else they could do. Wow. All dentists should be this good, but then again we’d actually like going.
