My friend and I were only making a brief stop in Concord to visit some literary historical sites on our way to Maine and we needed somewhere quick and low key to stop for lunch. This place had excellent Unilocal reviews, so we gave it a shot. It did not disappoint. The menu is simple, and the food is good. Everything on the menu is under $ 10 and most of it is locally sourced and organic. I ordered the BLT on 7 grain bread and a chai latte. The bread was soft and chewy, the bacon was crispy, and the latte was slightly spicy and just sweet enough without being cloying. I also ordered a matcha coconut scone to go, which I haven’t eaten yet, but it looks great as well. My friend ordered the Cabot cheddar grilled cheese on sourdough bread. She said it had the perfect amount of cheese where it was melty without being too gooey. The service was also very good. I’d definitely recommend!

Yummy and worth the wait. The signature coffees are pour-overs, which I have no patience for. They slow down the line, but I think it’s worth it. If you’re lucky, they will have hot scones.

Ok their veggie sandwich on sourdough is sooo delicious! The employees are so friendly and the place has the cutest vibes. Minus one star because every time I get an iced latte the espresso grounds somehow end up at the bottom of my cup.

This place was pretty well perfect for two visiting Aussies. Good coffee, healthy snacks(avocardo on grain bread — yum!) Very pleasant staff who did a great job under(usually) busy conditions. Nice atmosphere and good for reading or conversation. Music was nicely quiet. For some reason the fresh coffee in Australia has a better flavour but this is not a criticism of Haute as is a general thing we noticed in the US.

Wasn’t expecting this place to be as cute and cozy as it was. The avocado toast du jour was incredible. Still thinking about it. Coffee was really good as well. Will be back next time I am in town!

It’s a bit expensive, but worth it. It’s really good. They had lemon cookies which were amazing, and egg sandwiches which were small but good too. Their coffee(specifically their lattes) are the best in the area for sure. Wifi, outdoor and indoor seating, ACd, cute.

Went on a whim with a friend for brunch over the holiday weekend. Café was busy but a nice atmosphere. Ordered avocado toast which was topped with tomato, olive oil, and red pepper flakes — delightfully tasty. Cappuccino was lovely. We also shared one of their cupcakes as a dessert, which did not disappoint as it was sweet and light. Everything was reasonably priced for the quality and atmosphere. A great place to have a coffee and to catch up for a few hours, or even study or to read a good book.

Excellent coffee, great staff, quality food… I especially love that it is organic and all that. It is a cozy place to sit.

Ordered a latte with an extra shot and it tastes oddly like green beans. Hubs ordered the Haute Latte(cinnamon and honey) and it tastes like a vegetable cream soup(butternut squash-like). Being from the Seattle area, and not a fan of Starbucks disgusting espresso, I’d like to think that I know good coffee. I would say avoid this place. If it’s the best in the area, find a different area. Lexington has great coffee at Ride and they were brewing Kumo earlier today — score!

Great espresso drinks and breakfast sandwiches all presented in a cozy atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. We also tried a terrific glass of lemonade – a perfect combination of sweet and tart. Bonus: great wifi and some outdoor seating.

This complaint is only for the tiny egg sandwich and their prices. You pay too much for what you get. I loved their overly simple but delicious and very fresh avocado sandwich, however I am not going back. The place is worth a try if you are in the area.

Delightful coffee and breakfast spot. Cappuccino foam was thick enough to cut with a knife and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. The breakfast sandwich did not disappoint, although I recommend eating it in-house

This place is in a great location close to the busy main street area of Concord, but tucked away just enough to get a private, cozy feel, has decent hot and cold beverages at best, and pretty nice ambiance with both inside and outside seating options. The only egregious thing about it are the rude cashiers(or one specific blonde girl) that seem to feel it’s a large burden on them to serve their customers in a timely manner. Ordered very simple non-caffeinated drinks that required little to no prep work and waited 20 minutes plus while 6 people whose orders were taken AFTER me and my companion got their drinks. When asked how much longer it would take, we were met with a snappy, blatantly passive-aggressive reply of «It’s being prepared now.» If you’re in the area looking for a nice café and can withstand poor customer service, this place is great.

I was in Concord early one day working on the wayside house and forgot to grab breakfast. I saw there was a café and hopped in to grab a quick cup of coffee and an egg sandwich. I didn’t realize it was a place that did pour overs rather than drip coffee so any complaints I’d have on time are on me. Honestly, for the style of production they were quick. The staff was polite and helpful, and yeah, they made a good cup of coffee. Is it how I’d get my coffee every day? probably not. Is it how I’d get my coffee on a weekend when I had some time to sit and read? definitely. The egg sandwich was decent if a bit small. Overall the place was good, and perhaps it’s just my expectations that mismatch. I’m generally of the opinion that an egg sandwich and a cup of coffee shouldn’t really need anything particularly fancy about them, the best ones are simple.

Amazing coffee. I am a coffee snob and love blue bottle in SF. Until now, I had not found a coffee shop which rivaled it. Haute Coffee makes amazing pour over coffee! And the peanut butter cookie was also outstanding.

I’m so excited to have such a great coffee shop near my house. When I moved here I thought I would only find really good coffee shops in downtown Boston but this place is everything I need. I had some breakfast here and it was delicious. All the sandwiches they make in house are great but the real highlight is the baked goods. The Orange Olive oil cake was insane and the scones are always great. This might be one of the coziest coffee shops I’ve been to with the exposed and beams and brick walls along with the nice décor they added. The coffee Itself is the real star here though as they use Counter Culture coffee and the Baristas here are very well trained. I love the specialty stuff they do like the Haute Latte. This is everything you would find in downtown Boston but in cute little Concord.

BESTHOTCHOCOLATEEVER. Made with molten chocolate. I love some hot chocolate, and this place gives Burdick’s a run for it’s money. My other half vouches for the Coffee here too. An intimate well themed shop. Perfect off the beaten path feel and delicious!

This is exactly what I look for in a café! The coffee is terrific, and the mocha has a nice, bitter, dark flavor to it. The pastry are incredibly well made. I went to Haut on a Sunday, so I did not try the sandwiches(I think the kitchen closed mid-day on Sunday, or perhaps all day). Haut has a room with 7 or 8 comfortable tables for relaxing. The room feels a little like a pub, and the music is well suited for hanging out. The people working there seem great. I highly recommend this coffee shop.

Pricey, higher-end drip and espresso drinks that seem a bit weaker than one would expect given the care they seem to put into everything. Similarly $ baked goods and sandwiches. The small seating area is «charming» — but way too quiet. The soccer moms could talk less self-consciously in a whisper if the owners played MUSIC in the dining area. Was a small thrill to finally show up on a Friday while it’s still briefly open during evening slog of a commute through Concord. Do 6 pm EVERY weeknight! The market potential isn’t just stay-at-homers whispering about yoga and intrigue about their neighbor’s teenagers! Double that revenue by extending hours, yo! Always courteous friendly staff. I hope it isn’t discovered and overrun by people who’d use it as a home office with their laptops. It’s too small.

Coffee was great, can’t lie about that. Decided to go for a sandwich too after seeing all the local vendors they worked with. I got a mozzarella and tomato sandwich and my friend got a turkey sandwich. I decided to look past the high price point(of $ 8.95) for the reason above and the fact it was a small business. I’m never all that surprised places like up charge for their items, but you usually get quality in return. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. My sandwich was VERY greasy. It was a pinini, so obviously you need to slightly butter the bread to get that nice crispiness. But on mine, so much was used that the bread had changed color from its oiliness. Made me feel really gross eating it, especially on a hot summer day. The turkey sandwich in construction was also very very basic. It was something I could have made at home while half asleep. No extraordinary flavors or ingredients that stood out as key players. Just turkey, lettuce, tomato, mayo. Might want to stick to the coffee when coming here and save your appetite for another local shop.
