Responsive, nice work, reasonably priced. My bathroom fan caught on fire, and we used a dry chemical fire extinguisher to put it out, then had the fire department come out to make sure it was out. The fire was small, but a fire nonetheless, and it burned the joists in the crawlspace leaving a semi-​strong burnt smell.
We contacted two other contractors and went with this one. They called us back the fastest and sent someone out that day to give us an estimate. They were courteous enough to call when they would be five minutes late.
The estimate covered parts, electrical work, general labor, and repainting my entire bathroom. We were particular about the parts we wanted, so bought those ourselves and they removed the allocation from the quoted price.
They confirmed the appointment and parts the day before starting the work. They arrived on time and had all the necessary tools. They brought blankets to cover my floors and surfaces before starting the work. They consulted with me on the things that were variable to make sure it was the way I wanted it. They did a great job and when they were done, everything looked as clean as before they arrived, and they took away whatever trash and packaging was generated during the project. They kept true to the quoted price.
Afterwards, I asked about other repairs I was thinking about. They were honest enough to tell me when something didn’t need work, the reason it didn’t need work, and the associated pros and cons.
Overall, highly recommend this company for all kinds of home repair and project needs.

We found GreenTech through Exec after the bathroom exhaust fan caught on fire, burning a hole in the ceiling. We spoke with Yuri initially over the phone, and he was friendly and helpful in determining the scope of work and getting a project manager to come out.
Ivo came out the next day to give an estimate — he was running 5 minutes late and called 5 minutes before the scheduled appointment to let me know he would be there in 10, which is really polite and conscientious for a contractor!
Our estimate was totally fair (expensive compared to replacing the $ 30 fan before there was a fire, drywall damage, insulation damage, etc.), but about half of what I feared it would be. (Don’t defer maintenance! You’ll end up spending a lot more eventually…) Our quote from GreenTech was only slightly more than the quote from ServPro just to clean up (which I did myself).
Ivo and another professional came on two separate days to do the work — initially mounting the fan, doing electrical, and patching the ceiling, then letting the drywall compound dry overnight, returning the next morning to paint the bathroom.
I have nothing but praise for how they handled the initial contact, estimate, and work, and would recommend GreenTech for any repair, remodel, or construction work in the Bay Area.
