Do you feel like getting your shove on today with carts? Come here. Want to almost get ran over by someone’s car or get honked at for trying to park? Come here. The only friendly people around this big box stores are the cashiers. And that’s only sometimes. At least the pizza is huge and cheap.

Hey It’s a Costco and a pretty decent one at that, I agree with a lot of reviews it seems to be busy always… Parking lot is awful. I used to frequent Costco in general for a lot of our homely needs and spend a lot of $$ on stuff you need and then some more but Lately we have controlled going inside Costco and stick to what we absolutely need(in bulk of-course). If I’m in the market for any electronics or a high $$ item I check Costco first.Period. they just can’t be beat the extended warranty returns policy and everything about customer service even after purchase is what makes them my 1st choice not even Amazon… The Costco in San Ramon does not have a Gas(cheap gas) station so I try to fill up when I’m in WC area… I don’t like one of the customer service lady at this location who is not exactly color friendly(my experience)…hence the loss in 2-stars

What a waste of my time coming here. Employees that works here is a joke. If I can rate it negative stars. It already lost my business. I rather go to SAMs club. Way better service.

The more and more I come here, the more this location grows on me. Location: I really hate how out of the way it is for me. Literally exiting 680 to get to 2400 Monument takes me an eternity. Wish it was closer to the freeway. Products: They always have what I need. ALWAYS. And they carry a wide range of local products, etc. I love that I can get my A’s tickets here too. They’ve increased their line of organic products, from produce to breads, etc. Gas: Never ending lines, but they seem to have a lot more pumps than the other Costco’s in the area, so it’s generally quick. Parking: Sucks. I always park close to the gas station area, people hate walking far. I hate wasting time looking for parking. Chose your battle. Customer Service: Probably the best and it’s been getting better. This is the standout factor because if the employees are still able to be friendly & helpful even with the busy crowds, that means a lot. Samples: I’ve hit up this location are various hours during the weekdays & weekends and maybe I’m just lucky, but I can always find at least 1 – 2 samples still lingering around Overall: Customer service & availability of products are enough to keep me coming back every single weekend.

What do you say about Costco that has not been said? I do like that Costco has started to carry more options for natural and organic foods. Especially in the fish department, where fish is not antibiotic and hormone free The down side? $ 20 here and $ 20 there. It adds up quickly. What did I learn today? Save money, don’t get a cart. You can only purchase what you can carry.

Trust me. Don’t buy sausages. I have bought sausage recently and wanted to eat but when I opened the package to found it is mold. Be careful.

I love Costco so much but I am giving this location only three stars because they hawk the executive membership so hard at the Concord location. Even after I say no when I am approached(ever.single.time) they ask why I don’t want to save x percent annually. I don’t spend enough at Costco to qualify for a rebate and even then it’s none of their business why I don’t want the damn thing. I just want to scream no means no angrily in the store. This hasn’t happened on this scale at the Danville store. Also, the manager at this store has been one of the main pushers at the register to the point where I contemplating never coming back. Culture is off here.

I would rather go to the optometrist, the dentist, and the DMV over going to Costco, especially this one. The only 2 things that make this place worth it is the $ 10 bottles of generic Claritin(name brand would cost 10X that for 365 pills), and the $ 1.50 Polish Dog w/Soda deal(except you still have to go inside). If they would just rename the store Pills & Sausages, maybe all of the other people would go away and I could shop in peace. It doesn’t matter what day of the week, or what time of day — this place is going to be slammed full of people. Where are they all coming from?! What are they buying?! Why are they buying so much?! I’ll never understand. Collecting the free samples like Easter eggs is a fun pastime for the kids. Avoid the tech deals here — you’re not getting a deal(go shop around online and on Amazon). Also, compare the meat prices by the pound to other grocery stores — you’re not getting such a hot deal there, either, unless you’re buying 1,000 hot dogs for some godforsaken reason. I’ll stick to my more modest consumption rate and shop elsewhere for my necessities. Unless you’re a hoarder and a hermit that shops once a month, a 2-person household should have no use for this place. Great if you’re going in with someone on a 30-pack of toilet paper or some other gargantuan stockpile of whatever, otherwise, steer clear.

I’m a Costco fan so take my review with that in mind :) I’ve been to this Costco a few times now and have to say it seems less busy after work weekday hours than the ones in the peninsula. Their pharmacy line can move slow but hey, it’s a pharmacy line. The staff isn’t super friendly but that’s pretty much par for the course. The rest of the store is well organized, stocked and the employees are friendly. The food court is pretty standard as well, everything tastes as it should. Berry sundae is sweet and overflowing the cup, churros are gigantic and sugary :) Pros: Less busy Costco Cons: Pharmacy employees are on the cold unfriendly side Bottom line: Yay for Costco

I LOVECOSTCO! Such a money saver in the long run, amazing holiday options and fantastic organic food pricesand options(one of the largest nationwide organic retailers)! My kids love to go and try all of the samples which keeps their little fingers entertained and from getting bored and being a disaster! On top of that, they offer disabled carts, large pallet carts and double seater carts(seats for two kids)!!! I love buying in bulk and when you get an item on sale you get even more for your money!!! Their wine and cheese selections are of a wide and international variety — as a wine and cheese lover — I LOVETHIS! They have a huge selection catering to many different cultures and specialty items! They offer services beyond in store, including vacations, more affordable cable options, sporting events tickets, and free online shipping to valued members! On my executive membership I get cashback for every purchase which results in a big check at the end of the year and if it does not pay for my membership itself, They make up for the difference! They are amazing about returns, the customer is always right, even if you are returning it a few years later or half open/used. They pay their employees fairly and I find them to be good people, for the majority. This particular location is super busy, yet they manage to keep their lines down and their sheleves stocked. They also have wonderful deals and discounts for local gift certificates! I love this place and their gas prices are always the best! You cannot beat the kirkland signature products, they are designed to be better or comparable to the top nationwide brands at a better price! Yay for Costco!
