Every time we go to Farmers Market my daughter and I have a routine. She knows we get her bag of Churros and she loves it! It’s almost like every time I go I have to get a loaded baked potato at Julies Roasted Corn and Potato. Lol. The Churros are delicious but the wait can take a while since they are cooked to order. The last time we were here we waited more than 10 – 15 minutes, but we didn’t mind because my daughter likes to watch them make it.

Great churros and funnel cake. it is fun to watch them make it. They have a batter dispensing machine that dispenses it straight into the oil. The funnel cake with strawberries and whip cream is to die for! Yum!

If you live in the Concord area or happen to catch their Farmer’s Market, please make sure to stop by the Churros & Funnel Cake stand which is usually by Mt. Diablo Street, next to the Lumpia and Empanadas stand. I have not tried their funnel cake, but their churros are by far the most tastiest desserts ever! Cinnamon is already mixed in the batter and they top it one more time with cinnamon before they hand it over to the customer. I always tell everyone, the first bite makes you say«Uh-oh» because you really do not want to share with anyone else. For $ 6.50 for 15 sticks, it is well worth the price. What is not so worth it, is the wait. Hence, the four-star review. If they up the ante and got faster, I would definitely change my tune.
