Warning do not bring your business here! I did not go here for myself but for someone who needed assistance with getting an eye exam and purchasing glasses. The person that seemed to be in charge treated us like garbage. We did not have one of the insurance cards with us but we had the number available. We were running back and forth to the patients home to try and get the card but to no avail. We tried to plead our position and she told us «No, the card is needed and you will need to get the card and make another appointment. Not only that, you will be billed as a no show». I have been to other appointments where the card was not available but they still accepted the patient. I can understand a business having policies but this woman was completely out of line. I think because she knew that the patient had a small budget to work with and is disabled, she felt she could get away with this sort of treatment. We went to Costco just down the street, we were seen immediately, they apologized for this person’s behavior after talking about the treatment. Costco doesn’t accept Medi-Cal but their eye exam is $ 54 and we were able to stay within $ 8 of her budget. In my opinion, whether someone is on assistance or is well off finacially, businesses should treat everyone with respect.
