1 Nail Spa

Just went here for the first time today and had a lovely experience! Kim the nail tech did my nails and I absolutely love them! I had previously went to nail trek for acrylic with gel polish and they did a very poor job. The acrylics there was too thick and was shaped very poorly. This isn’t the case here! Kim did a great job and I will definitely come back again!

I went in for a gelcolor application, which is listed as being fifteen dollars. I live nearby, so the price and location is why I originally tried this place 2 weeks ago. I should mention that on my first visit I waited 20 minutes, then the nail tech had to stop halfway through to fix another customer’s botched job (hey, mistakes happen). However today I had a different tech who quickly applied the polish with minimal words exchanged, per usual. After the job was done, she tells me, «It’s twenty dollars.» Of course I asked why the mysterious change in pricing, to which she responds, «because I filed.» Mind you, she did a brief rounding of the edges as was done the previous week. Five minutes later I called (I did not want to make a scene) and the response was different – because I had the previous polish removed, which is in no way posted or was stated beforehand. It boils down to her thinking I am either stupid or that I was not going to tip (which I did, anyway). If you want to charge twenty dollars for the job then by all means, but have it posted. Do not dishonestly try to take money from your customer for an ambiguous reason because you can.

I have been going here for years! Love this place. Kim is my eyebrow tech and has gotten to know me on a personal level. The prices are very affordable as well. Sometimes they can be very packed so definitely recommend making an appointment prior to walking in. I love getting pedicures done here they are so relaxing. If you are in the area stop by and give them a try!

I always have a great experience here. Clean, friendly and the ladies give a wonderful leg massage with the pedicure. One Christmas they even gave me a free bottle of lotion just for coming in. Their prices are very reasonable. $ 30 for a great pedicure.
