9am on a Wednesday … Not bad for fast breakfast. Piping hot!!! Simple but decent choices. Lots of customers but no waiting line. Drive through if you want; booths and tables with table service. The worst I can say, low on table supplies — ketchup, jellies.

So I go to farmers around 11:00pm because it’s a 24 hour restaurant and it turns out it’s close. This is not the first time I run into the same situation here at this farmers. Why do you advertise that its a 24 hour restaurant when it’s not.

I was helped by Guadalupe and she must have been having a bad day. She kept rushing me to order and I was asking my son for what he wanted to drink and ahe kept interrupting me if it was to eat there or to go. I got so upset because I was in the middle of a sentence and she kept interrupting. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager said she would speak to her about it. As O walked away I saw them both laugh about it and the ma ager made a gesture with her hand as if it doean’t matter to keep the customers happy. Never returning to this location!!##

Great food if you eat there in the dinning room. The food is not good when you take it home. It doesn’t travel well.

Conveniently located in commerce by 5 fwy. Very crowded at lunch time. Their burgers and fries are way too salty. Recommend to sodium lovers. The salads were good though.

As always, I hate to write a bad review but this place earns it. The main 2 items that keep me away are the wait times and the incorrect orders. If we drive by and see 2 cars, it’s an automatic no. I took the risk today with 2 cars today and i’m sitting here finally getting to the window and it has taken 15 minutes. The orders have been correct about 2 out of 10 times. I love the food when it is prepared correctly. I have to double check the food every time it is given to us. It’s sad to see this location is so bad at the basics.

Driving out of this location as I’m typing this. I waited in the drive thru for over 10 minutes. I ordered a coke and at the window they tried to give me a Diet Coke because they ran out of regular. Second thing, once I finally got my order a burger was missing from my bag. After several attempts to get the cashiers attention somebody finally came back to the window and we let her know that the burger was not in the bag. She came back after checking with the cook to let us know he was making it but that he had already put it in our bag, which he did not! I was able to hear the cook saying he put the burger in the bag so I made sure to tell the cashier that it was not in the bag and that I was not trying to steal food! The cashier was not rude but the cook was very unprofessional by shouting out that he did put the burger in the bag.

Things I liked: They’ll make burgers protein-style with a lettuce wrap instead of buns The variety of sides, including Zucchini & onion rings(yay!) Ample, free parking. Things I didn’t like: The sun blinding me through the windows at sunset(my bad) Things I thought: Holy crap, that fried zucchini is HUGE Wow this zucchini is a million degrees and a little hard to eat That burger was just OK.

Farmer Boys did right by our family of four on 1÷23÷16. If it weren’t for the price, I’d probably give them 5 stars since they got our orders correct, it was hot ‘n’ fresh, and the service was nice. NOTE: I did not say service was fast. Be prepared to wait a tad longer for your food than you would at other much cheaper burger chains. I tried the Barn Burger. If I can add jalapeños to my meal, I’m generally a happy camper, but this burger also comes with pepper jack cheese, dill pickles, and some«fiery sauce.» The burger itself looked nothing like their photo, but the patty was of obvious quality. I also enjoyed the flame broiled scent. I’m pretty sure it smokes Burger King’s «flame broiled-ness» out of the kitchen. Being able to have a half & half order of onion rings and zucchini sticks instead of fries was cool. The onion rings weren’t my favorite, but the zucchini sticks were great. From the kids menu, we ordered the chicken«tenders» meal($ 5.29) with fries and the turkey sandwich meal($ 4.09) also with fries. Next time I would opt for something other than the chicken«tenders» as they weren’t all that tender or juicy.(Neither child was eating them so I had to find out why.) I asked the cashier if there was an upgrade charge to sub milk for our girls’ soft drinks — and there’s not! The milks are gargantuan, too, at 14 fl. oz. Most other fast food places supply us with those little 7 fl. oz. bottles. And sometimes they charge for an upgrade. Not sure how baby/toddler-friendly this place is since we got our order to go. It was mostly clean, however, when we went inside to order. TIPS — located at Telegraph & Washington near a Costco Business Center — drive-thru window available — open 24 hrs — there is a veggie burger called the«Market Burger» & other stuff too… not just burgers — breakfast is served all day — the scarecrow is kinda creepy… just sayin’ Review #447 ’16 Challenge #10

On an early Sunday morning, you would think this Farmer Boys would not be busy, but you would be wrong. I figured that since the adjacent Costco was closed that no one would make their way to this eatery, but they have. On this visit, I opted for the simple, yet satisfying Bell Ringer(combo). Cooked to order, the burger is seasoned well and all its added components are fresh. Staff is warm and friendly, making regular rounds to refill people’s coffee cup.

I came here for lunch with colleagues and I noticed how clean and nice the facility was. For Commerce, this is a nice place right next to costco and the coffee bean. I ordered the cobb salad and it was okay. I think next time I will either order breakfast or a sandwich. I would come back and try their other food for sure. The burger next to me looked pretty good!

I was meeting a friend for lunch, and wanted to try somewhere new. I’ve heard good things about this spot, so I said why not?! We ordered a chicken club combination and a patty melt combination. The cool thing is that they allow you to get either fries, onion rings, or Fried zucchini, or you can mix them up and select two. I got fries and onion rings with mine. The chicken club doesn’t look anything like the picture. It tastes really good, and it is cooked real chicken(unlike many places where I question what I’m eating, LOL). But the presentation is really bad. My friend said the patty melt was good as well. The onion rings and the fries tasted really really good. I can’t say much about their service because we didn’t really deal much with their employees, but it was nice that one of the workers asked if we were finished and threw away our plates for us. Overall, it seems like a good place, they seem like they have good food and I would want to try their hamburgers one day. I would recommend trying this place out!

Prices are pretty good. I enjoy the natural burger which I found to have great flavor. I have also had the chicken sandwich and it was just okay. If you get the combo with fries or zucchini just know that the fried zucchini is very large, we are talking about like a quarter of a zucchini large. The place is not the cleanest but the staff are very helpful and seem to walk around and try and see how people are doing. The single largest complaint when I go here is that they seem to be very stingy with their napkins. They have them behind the counter and there are a few that are left on the tables for others to use. Not sure what the deal is but it always seems to be the case that when you run out of napkins you have to ask or go hunt. Not a fan of that. Place is pretty cramped and the food is decent.

It might be fast, but don’t call this place«fast food» — with a surprising ‘farm to mouth’ slogan, a great variety of options(including healthy ones) and an overall emphasis on using locally sourced foods, this place is a great alternative to your BK or McDonalds run. I’ve had their burgers and their new salads … both very filling and both taste(at least to me) pretty fresh. Prices are a little more than what you’d find at some of the larger chains, but the difference is totally worth it. Stay Cheerful ;)

1) Drive-thru is 24-hours. 2) Food is excellent. 3) Prices are a little steep, around $ 9-$ 11 person if you get most combos.

Another Burger food chain, what is the big deal? In my small circle of friends I have some people that were ecstatic when they found out this place was being built in our area. So of course I had to go try this place out. Now I have had Farmer Boys twice a couple of years ago but it was nothing I would get excited about. I also remember that they had one in Pico Rivera just a few minutes away and it got closed down. So on an afternoon that I was actually home alone I decided to go to McDonalds next to Costco. But to my surprise Farmer Boys had just opened and there was no line in the drive thru. So I changed my mind and went in for a different flavor. I looked over the menu and the prices made me look in my rear view mirror and consider backing out. But I kept on trucking and asked for the Farmer Boys Burger and fries with a coke. Oh snap I just blew $ 15 on this lunch and I am not even that hungry. Now that I have my meaty treasure strapped in to the passenger side I sped home so I get to enjoy the full experience. 2 minutes later I think because it was a complete blur I open up my package and set it out in front of me with ketchup and ranch ready to go to town on this burger. My first though is wow this is a big meal so kudos on portion. Once I went in for my first bite I realize that it was a tasty burger and the fries are not too shabby. Now I know a thing or two about burgers since it is my weapon of choice and even though I eat at fast food chains I usually chose locations based on my budget. So this place prides itself on freshness and I think as long as you put that in the mix it is really worth the cost. So before you compare it to John’s, Tom’s, Arry’s, or any other location, just remember you are paying for quality and quantity. So yes I would come here again and they do get 4 stars because everything was done well and quickly but the prices still won’t allow me to give them 5 stars for a drive thru.

Off of the 5 freeway, this Farmer Boys location is easily accessible. Drive thru is open 24 hours a day and it’s nearby the Commerce Casino and Citadel. It’s a fast casual restaurant. Like you order at the front, get handed a number, seat yourself, and your order is delivered to your table. They have actual silverware or plastic baskets when you dine in. Décor is modern. The lady behind the cash register was a good communicator and even though my order was specific, she got it right. I started ordering a natural burger but she told me those don’t come with tomatoes and lettuce. So then I changed my order to a cheeseburger with no cheese since there wasn’t a normal«single patty hamburger» listed on the menu. She finally understood that I wanted a hamburger with 1 patty, lettuce, tomato, and avocado and punched in that order. It was nice that she made sure that what I was ordering was what I wanted. On the other hand there was miscommunication between her and my mom. She ordered fish dinner with zucchini. She asked if it was still going to come with fries. The lady behind the register said yes. When our order came out it only came with zucchini because on the receipt her order just said zucchini. Workers should read orders the same way. If one worker says there will be fries still in the order regardless if the order says fries or not and the other worker says there isn’t any fries in the order because it doesn’t say fries then you’ll have a lot of confused customers.
