Not only is this retailer in a death spiral but they are also as dishonest as the day is long. june 2009 Purchased a $ 3000 60″ LG Plasma with 4yr extended service contract. TV died this June 2011 6^th Ave service tech came out to fix then never came back. I finally spoke to Maria on September 27. Since all of the NY and Long Island stores had bee closed she told me to come to the Paramus store immediately as it was about to close told me the tv would be replaced no charge with a similar plasma model. Drove 3 hours to NJ and Instead of getting a replacement tv as was promised was told by the owner that he would «do me a favor» and sell me a cheaper (all of the 60″ plasmas were allegedly sold”) LCD TV for 1200 $. I took the TV and immediately stopped payment on my AMEX. These guys are thieves GE sued them in August for millions. The paramus store has been picked clean. If you purchased a service contract from these guys with a credit or debit card STOP PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY. Your extended service plan is worthless.
