I go to this Dollar Tree for one reason and one reason only and that is to load up on $ 1 boxes of candy for the holidays. It is a serious mad house trying to find parking at this location. Trader Joes is always busy and the Dollar Tree shares a parking lot with them as well as a mexican place next door, always chaotic. This store is usually very messy, especially during the holidays. They have a big christmas section in terms of candy and goodies, not so great in the decoration department. I recommend coming here for candy stocking stuffers and cheap serving trays and utensils. The staff is nice here but the lines are always very long.

How much is this? A dollar. What about that? Also a dollar. Hmmm… and this knick-knack? Also a dollar. You’d be surprised what you can find here. As others have mentioned, you’ll find gift bags and other items that are often more expensive elsewhere. Scotch tape is 2/$ 1, and for a recent project I was teaching — a life/wallet saver compared to getting it at Target or wherever else. Also good for all that holiday wrapping that I have yet to start, and yes — rolls of X-Mas and other holiday paper is also a buck. I also picked up other random teaching supplies here, totally cost-effective. Sometimes they have neat stuff, other times not so much. Yes, it’s often messy. Yes, the lines are often long, but they tend to move quickly. But dude — it”s a dollar tree. Where yes, everything is a dollar. Or two for a dollar. Though the candy at the check-out is .79. So even CHEAPER than a dollar! Plus, it’s next store to TJ’s. Which is where I often stop off at next to stock up on groceries for the week. And thus, another Sunday shopping trip is completed.

I am in this store at least once a month — and almost always leave with a full bag for very little money. Its often busy but the lines move quickly. The parking lot gets busy because of the Trader Joe’s just next door. I think this store is a great value and fun too!

You will find your cart quickly filling at a dollar store. I cant count how many times I said«ah for a buck who cares». As a result I have around 20 paint brushes, 20 packs of gum, 10 assorted mismatched glasses etc. But the unsung hero of the places are two items, greeting cards and gift bags. Most cards are 50 cents! how can you beat it. Why spend 3 – 4 bucks. And the bags are great at holidays. All in all a nice place to pick up good useful things. Only drawback is the location — insanely crowded due to trader joes next door. There have been times I couldnt even find a spot. But that area is a madhouse to begin with.

It’s all $ 1, really! HTF dollar stores around here. Not like it used to be. With so few left I’m glad we have this place nearby even if the parking lot is a total zoo and the store is messy. Worth going in, I can’t imagine anyone coming out of here empty-handed. I got some wine glasses by Libbey glass that are so pretty it’s hard to believe I only paid $ 1 each. Better gift bags than the drugstore, and those are usually $ 3+. Good for crafts, seasonal décor, a whole aisle full of candies, toys, and some food items. Pre-inflated helium ballons. Dollar Tree is a national chain and the DT stores I went to in AZ where my Mom(dollar store diva) lives are so much bigger and nicer but for LI — where we hardly have any stores left where you can get stuff for a buck, this is pretty good. You can also shop online Good source for coloring books too, got two of them for less than the price of one elsewhere. Same parking lot as Trader Joe and TJ Maxx, Larkfield Road and Jericho Tpke(next to Sears). They do accept credit cards here, I used my Visa so I’m sure of it.

I am now chomping away on one of the 4-for-$ 1 packs of Bubble Yum I bought there this weekend. Along with the $ 1 Fruit Rollups my fiancé made quick work of and gift bags and irridescent shreddies I used in said gift bags — the trip was totally worth it. Yeah, the place is a mess… but hey, everything is a dollar, so who cares?

It is what it says, a dollar tree. Everything you would expect, for a dollar. Sometimes you can find stuff that is good. The store is usually a mess though. Pros: great for gift bags, they have a huge isle of just gift bags, offers a large selection of teachers stuff, scrap booking stuff and they have a big selection of toys — although they all look very cheap and might break after one use, oh and they usually have helium balloons which have become quite pricey now, so a balloon for $ 1 is a good price Cons: the store is usually a mess, things are pick through and messy on shelves, the lines are always huge, they never have enough staff They don’t take credit cards but they do accpet debit cards, checks, and cash

This is an extremely large, extremely well-stocked Dollar Tree. I became obsessed with finding glass containers to use as tea light holders for my wedding and there was no way I was paying $ 1 each holder because I needed a crap ton of them. And they had the absolute most perfect thing here and they were a package of three for $ 1. I also became obsessed with finding floaty things to stick at the top of vases filled with water and guess what they totally had? Six in a pack for $ 1. There were tons and tons of things packed neatly into every aisle. I didn’t have time to explore much, but I saw enough to know that this Dollar Tree is amazing and, if I know I need a lot of things, totally worth schlepping to all the way from Fresh Meadows. And it’s right next door to a Trader Joe’s with plenty of other good shopping in adjacent shopping strips.
