Awesome delicious fresh made subs, the food here is superb, the staff great. Wow, I travel all over the country for work and found this place accidentally. Impressive. Do yourself a favor and eat here. I just wish they were in dallas area.

This Grinders has all other Columbus Grinders beat! I couldnt believe their dessert selection! We both got the pecan caramel cookies which were amazing. My husband and my sandwiches were delicious and fresh. The service was fast and friendly. The place itself was clean. I will definitely be back!

Love Grinders… this location is excellent. The employees are very young, I would assume from the locat high school, but always polite and my order is always perfect. Very clean, polite, and fast service. I drive from the eastside of Columbus at least once a week to eat here :)

Haven’t had grinders in awhile and completely forgot how good it was!!! I had a 10″ club sub with ham, Turkey, roast beef, honey mustard, mayo, and lettuce toasted to perfection! It definitely hit the spot ! Their sizes for their subs are 6″ 10″ and 20″ lol(holy cow!) They prices aren’t that bad either! Definitely worth getting if you’ve never been!

I tried so many subs overtime from here and don’t like it. I found out from a friend(not sure if it’s true) that they use sourdough bread. That’ll explain it because I think sourdough is nasty. That’s my opinion.

The food is very consistent and good. The place has been clean every time I’ve been in. Great prices, they have coupons in Valpak, and they have a daily special! The outstanding part is the service! Every employee I’ve talked to has been great and seems to put in extra effort to make sure you’re taken care of and happy with your order. Just an example… I called in an order and the lady on the phone says«no green peppers, right?» She was right! I usually do and this time I forgot to ask. Not to mention they are all super patient when you are indecisive. :)

For a sandwich place this is deff pretty good. Choose this over subway or the new fire house subs. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been to a couple of their locations, but this one the most by far. It’s a pretty good place for a good sandwich, though it’s hard to review a spot like this for me, I go in usually for the same sandwich, I don’t get sides, and that’s about it. So I don’t have much I can say. The staff is fairly friendly, the food is great, as long as you don’t mind not having plates, and I don’t really mind that. There’s not much else I can rate it on. I’ll keep coming back when I get an urge for a nice hot sandwich.

A little hard to write a review when they hand you your bag of food and tell you to have a nice day. You then get back to work and see that they didn’t put your sandwich in the bag. I called the to see how they would remedy the situation. It did not seem to be very important to them and it also seemed they wanted to put the blame on me. I was told it takes time to make the sandwich. I understand that but when your handed a bag of food and told to have a nice day you kind of assume your order is complete. Plus the fact that initially she put everything on a tray as if i was going to eat in when i told her it was to go. So it did take a few minutes to repack everything. There remedy is to give me a sandwich next time I go in. I guess I get to go hungry today. Considering they deliver you think they would have offered to drop my sandwich off. I guess one customer ins’t as important as a large business. I ordered the soup and sandwich combo and only received the soup. The cup was only about half full and the flavor was okay nothing impressive. I will go back at least once more only to get the sandwich they owe me.

So good so good… Oh my goodness this is good. So good you would be caught chewing with your mouthful. who has time to talk when they are chewing this stuff. I mean Its all a hit with me. The sides are delicious. Calories you must watch it here. All because it is so good. Hits the belly so lite too. could overeat really good here. Now seriously, like a great hot sub. So good.

Agree with all the other Unilocalers on this location– Best WG in the 614! Been here many times, food is always great and the service is wonderful! I love there Chicken Salad– I know, its Grinders, but it might the best chicken salad i have ever had at a restaurant. I love there Cheddar Mac as well! I have been coming to this location for almost 8 years now and they never disappoint.

This Grinders is amazing. BEST grinders in town hands down! Same owners for as long as I can remember, the staff barely has any turnover. Great service, super, super clean store. They offer more sides and more deserts then any other Grinders in town. They even have coffee and can make various coffee drinks. Lots of room to sit, great food quality, great drink service, the soda was never flat, never tasted wrong. I spent 10 years going to this location, and once my office moved away from the area, I realized just how great this location was. Won’t spend too much time talking about the food itself, its Grinders, same menu, they just do everything right at this one. It deserves 6 stars.

My honey has been wanting to try Firehouse Subs due to the commericial they do about how amazing their meatball sub is, but when I looked it up on here it sure didn’t look very promising so instead of going out of our way to Hilliard Rome Road we just suck with W. Broad and stopped at W.G. to give them a try since the reviews on them were much more positive. We were so glad we stopped there to eat! I give it 4 stars because while they are very tasty and good, the prices are teetering on high to me. Now why are they so good. The place is clean, the employees don’t jump on you a soon as you walk through the door and they let you look as they know by looking at you that you are new here, but they watch you and let you know they are ready when you are. What makes it stand out above places such as Subway, well they have pasta, pizza, stromboli, basically a bit of something for everyone, oh don’t forget the amazing pasta salad selections, mmmm we got Stimpini it was very tasty… lots of choices here which makes it great if you are going out to eat with several people with differing preferences. Also they actually brought our food out to our table I expected it to be more like Panera where they call you since they took our name for the order. Now what we ordered I got the Classic Italian sub, the bread is sooooo good, not fat, perfect in size and amount of bread you get to the ratio of filling, great flavor, toppings very generous too, they bake the italian dressing with the sub so it really is flavorful all the way through and mmmm so much cheese… so ya I liked it… He ordered a Meatball sub and it was cut differently to form a pocket type sub, and they placed slices of cheese on top of it all and let it melt down the sides, he loved the sub, but he feels that the texture of the meatballs is too soft. So for 2 – 6 inch subs, 1 side of Stimpini pasta salad, and 1 small drink we walked out spending 15 bucks, less then 5 guys and more food and ya we will go back and if you haven’t tried this place yet you really should give it a shot!

These grinders are excellent! This hole in the wall is one of the best sandwiches in Ohio. Amazing selection from cajun chicken, pizza and an amazing Italian grinder. The sides are very well made with red potato salad, pasta salad and excellent cappuccino. Never dissapointed!

Honestly, compared to the other Grinders in the area, this one is one of the best. Hands down. They never go wrong here. The employees behind the counter are always friendly and the place overall is bright and clean. I’ve been to another Grinders location in the Arlington area and the service and the location wasnt very friendly. I believe the owner has been here forever and makes sure his people do a great job. Easy location to find with ample parking!

This and the Grove City store are my favorite Grinders locations. Fantastic food, best service ever, and yes, they have the conveyor belt ovens. Brad’s right; if it doesn’t go through an actual oven on a conveyor belt, it’s not a grinder. That’s sacrilege, blasphemy, bad ju-ju, whatever you want to call it. For the record, the pickles and the pasta salads = YUM. Don’t forget dessert! I grew up on the West Side, so I’ve watched everything go to hell, but Grinders is a constant. It’s comforting to know that while so much has changed, some things have stayed the same.

I’ve never been a big fan of W.G. Grinders, but after they posted a woot coupon i decided to go to this one for lunch. As it turned out it was a corporate coupon and not supposed to be used at this location but the owner was very nice and talked to me about some stuff and ended up accepting the coupon which i really appreciated. I understand what its like to run a business, and anytime i interact with store owners with good customer service skills it makes me very confident they care about their product and want you to have a good experience. Anyways, i got the italian stromboli and the stumpenali(no idea how its spelled) salad. I thought the salad tasted a little dry, but it was my first time having it so maybe it tasted exactly how it was supposed to and i’m just not a fan. The Stromboli however was great. It almost tasted like idealized rolled up pizza, and i quickly ate the whole thing. All in all i was very happy with the experience, and glad i got the chance to connect with the owner. I’ll return, groupon or not.
