Fantastic campground on the Colorado River just outside of Columbus (a little more than an hour west of Houston). Two acres with RV hookups, adorable cabins, and tent camping, right along the river. Swim, fish, kayak/​canoe or just stick your toes in! Gorgeous views of sunrise/​set, moonrise/​set, and stargazing. Two spacious, stand-​alone restrooms with inside and outside showers. Open porch next to a fully furnished event room, fire pits, pier, boat launch. The owner, James Prichard, is a gracious host with lots of information about things to do in the area.
