The Buckeye Corner

It is what you think it is, a store loaded with Ohio State apparel. Bigger than your normal fashion stripmall spot, Buckeye Corner is easy to navigate and spares the customer the self awareness smaller stores give. My last visit found a store not so loaded with stuff as usual. Whether this was purposely done to minimize inventory, or because it has yet to snapback from holiday shopping plus the sudden influx of sunshine fans bandwagoning the national championship is your guess as well as mine.
I came Sunday to purchase a NC themed tee, baseball cap, and a shot glass for a friend that collects them. I was lucky, for the shirts was near gone in my size, large. But they did have plenty small and children sizes left; This is the official Nike one the players wore after the game, they had plenty other NC themed ware. The prices are premium, marked up by the dual brands of Nike and Ohio State. In all, I paid $ 70 total for the three items.
The selection is diverse in style: tees, long sleeves, pollo, sweatshirts of many school colors. Football, hockeye and basketball jerseys are plentiful. They have Ohio State themed purses, belts, scarves, bennies, caps, smartphone protectors, ear buds, flags, banners, posters, art, signed memorabilia, and kitchenware. I use to buy gobs of media here before YouTube blew that all away. It is the best place for team junk anywhere outside of Conrads.
The staff is very helpful and kind, though when the store is slammed they all get called to cash registers leaving no one to ask for help at times. Generally a well mechanized store, can be a little messy after high traffic days.

One of the top 3 places to get Buckeye apparel, accessories, & memorabilia. There are a few locations in town, but this one is closest to my home & office in Dublin. Great, friendly staff. Good selection.
However, I think that the Polaris location probably has a LITTLE more choice when it comes to clothing… but this location is probably best when looking for non-​clothing stuff.

Now this is what I’m talking about! After being a bit let down by some of the other Buckeye apparel stores around town (including some other Buckeye Corner locations), I stumbled across this huge store on Sawmill Road.
Along with a huge selection of apparel (including some unexpected items), the store carries a wide array of OSU-​related merchandise. Bar lamps, tables, dog collars and cookie jars all found their way into the store. Of course, many other items managed to get OSU logos slapped on them. My personal favorite was a bag fashioned from a football jersey.
Some of the prices seemed a little high ($ 30 for a t-​shirt), but not too far off from what I’ve seen elsewhere. You can’t expect much less with officially licensed stuff. Go Bucks!
