This has to be the WORST dining experience I have ever had. First I ask for a table, with not a far walk(my father and I are using canes to walk), the host takes us to a booth half way through the restaurant.(Should have stayed there.) Finally get to the table and instead of pushing two tables together for a party of five, they make my father sit bitch(the odd one out on the end of the table). Dinner started out ok, waiter was personable(it seemed) drinks came promptly, and salads did too. But then when we had been there for an hour, we still didn’t have dinner. Now I know when they get busy it delays things, but by this point I had asked our waiter where our dinner was, and two parties that were sat next to us had already gotten their dinners. I know they had less people in their party, but the one party of three had only been there for 20 minutes! Sometime after I asked our waiter about our dinners, he had quit and walked out. SMH So when the food finally arrives, and not all of it, my food was cold and over cooked. My Mom’s was late, and under cooked. So we both sent ours back(Mom just the steak). It takes over 20 minutes for them to even come back with it. By this point I ask for mine to come out in a box, everyone else in our party was finished eating. By this point they had already taken 50% off the bill. When the district manager brings my food and not in a box, I ask him what took so long. He says the kitchen was backed up. I’m sorry, they are backed up??? I’ve been there for over an hour & half, and I still don’t have my dinner. So I’m yelling at him to explain to me why the kitchen was working on orders that just came in instead of my order(this is poor managing, not necessarily a poor reflection on the kitchen staff) because he should have made sure it was a priority. Needless to say, he had no good explanation. He tried to appease is with free appetizer coupons, which do my aunt & uncle from Louisiana no good since they are only good at that location. And they will do me no good either as it will be a VERY long time before I go back, if ever. Now if you don’t mind, I need to go eat my cold dinner that I brought home to eat.

Food was good, I had the BBQ Chicken and Ribs. The meat fell off the bone and was very tender. The chicken was tender and the BBQ sauce was just the right amount for the chicken. The waiter was attentive and kept replacing my ice tea as soon as the glass was empty. I never had to waive him down for a refill.

Not sure why this store has such a low rating. We went for dinner last night and it was wonderful. Server was friendly and polite and fast. Got the rib eye steak ten ounce and it was perfect. Appetizers we got was the combo platter and loved it. Food came out quickly as well. Clean store and friendly staff. New favorite place to eat! Hopefully Unilocal will publish this because half of the time I leave a review they don’t? Great job guys.

My husband and I will NEVER go back to this one ever again. The hostess at the desk was super sweet but the women that brought us to our table informed me that she would move us to a larger table because my hips were big. SERIOUSLY?! We left and will not be back.

I love Texas Road house and have been going there for years. But I must say, we will never be back to this location… We literally just got home from there and I still cannot believe how terrible the service was. First, we walk in and there are two girls standing up front. Doing nothing. One is standing there looking around. The other is staring directly at us, her arms folded and sitting on the ledge, with her head laying on top of them. I tell her hello and that it’s just the two of us and she just kept staring. I again tell her two. Finally she snaps out of it when my boyfriend stands right in front of her. She still keeps her head on her arms and goes«Just two?». We confirm, and then both girls continue to stand there, I’m finally about to say something due to the awkwardness before one of the girls finally takes us to be seated. She then bolts off. We had no silverware, only one menu, and didn’t even know who we were waiting for. The waiter finally arrives after a few minutes to ask about our drinks. He seems impaitient and keeps looking over the wall, only glancing at us once or twice. It takes awhile before our drinks get there. He finally takes our order and not once looks at me as he rushes me through my order. Interupted me twice, and keeps looking over the wall. Then as soon as I’m done he flips around and rushes my boyfriend. He doesn’t write down a single part of our order and comes back twice to confirm it. Now this whole time he hasn’t been concerned about checking our table, but now he keeps popping in every two minutes. I’m serious, I can barely get a word out to my boyfriend before the waiter ask again if everything’s ok. My salad arrives and still no silverware, luckily I caught the lady that brought my salad before she went missing because she bolted off too. My boyfriend’s drink has been empty awhile now, and so has the bread/butter. But now we can’t seem to catch our waiter. Our food finally comes after a very long wait and I’m missing two sides, and in place of them I get a single side I never asked for. My boyfriend’s Mac and cheese looked and tasted disgusting. His mashed potatos were old and he wasn’t even given butter for them. His ribs were edible but not very good. When I got my order of fries it was skimpy and undercooked and over salted. We sent the Mac and cheese back and were still charged for it. I’m surprised at how terrible the experience was at this location. I’m actually very irritated. I have always loved Texas road house and have never, not once, had an issue in service. No one wanted to do their job, the lack of communication and personability of the staff is baffling, and the food was just slapped together. I will continue to go to Texas road house, but we will never be back to this location.

Awful! I used to love this place but the service is slow, and isn’t very good. The steaks are awful. I think they precook them and reheat them… Gross. I like the rolls and the potatoes but that’s why they get 2 stars instead of 1.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Didn’t wait too long for a table on a Friday night. But once we were at the table we ordered drinks from the bar and probably waited close to 15 minutes for them to even come to the table. The appetizer was gross and greasy and barley cooked. Also waited longer than normal for food. Food was horrible. Chicken was fatty and the fries were greasy and seemed like they were microwaved. My husband had a steak with cheese on top that were little kraft singles and I could easily tell because they were little squares barley melted on top. He used the steak sauce at the table which was disgusting. It tastes like the burnt edges of a steak you cut off but in liquid form. We have been fans of Texas road house but will probably choose somewhere else next time. Waste of money and time.

I must say, even though I am not big into chain restaurants this one consistently impresses me. This location is our go to restaurant anytime we don’t have dinner planned and we’re tired, or we want a good steak and don’t want to grill at home. We also always sit at the bar because the service is great and no one with kids sits at a bar ;) Most of the time when we go here I have the grilled chicken salad — and yes, I’m one of those pain in the ass customers. I ask for my chicken to be grilled on the flat top instead of the open flame grill, no egg, no croutons, and my dressing on the side w extra bacon. They know us so it’s rarely an issue unless we have a new server and even then it’s just a slower process. Sometimes I even have them toss my chicken in their house made hot buffalo sauce, I highly recommend it! Anyway, I’ve had a great many of items off the menu and almost every one of them is great! They almost always get our steaks cooked perfectly and on the very rare occasion that they don’t they always make it right. Their salmon is really good and the ribs are also fantastic. Plus, they have a nice selection of sides, although if I have one true complaint it’s their broccoli. It’s typically overcooked and tastes weird. I think they put some kind of seasoning on it and when I have asked for it without it still tastes slightly off. I wish they just would make me plain old steamed broccoli because I really do love broccoli. Obviously the broccoli thing has never really been an issue for me because we stop in here at least once a week. We’ve even gone to a few of the out of state locations and their food is consistently good. I highly recommend stopping in here and having an on the rocks margarita with a grilled chicken salad. Try the chicken on the flat top, you won’t be disappointed!

I tried to give the Texas Roadhouse, another try last Friday. Had a bad experience with the service and food previously with a group. I ordered take out, the ribs were hard tasted horrible. The Bake potato was dry & hard. Sent Complaint to there Website. But just like my previous experience with them, no answer. Don’t think they care what you think or how bad the food is. Who Knew!

I seriously come here for the salad! That darn house salad is sooo good! Rarely do you get a side salad that has eggs, tomatoes, croutons and cheese in it!

SUNDAY(Memorial Day)) 7pm, Sunny and 65 degrees. SEVENWORDS: Steak and Potatoes, Service Saves the Day. With the weather being so fantastic, we decided to use their open air patio. Beyond the darkness(which is perfectly Okay), the ambience was loud and obnoxious — like an MCL Cafeteria on Acid. I ordered the NY Strip and my mate ordered a sirloin, both medium rare. My first bites were overdone, BUT — the main portion of this 1″ 14 oz steak was done to order(it’s DAMNHARD to cook thick flanks of steak evenly, esp. with the high temps of most resto grils). The steak was what you’d expect, nothing fancy — but mostly because the cuts themselves didn’t seem pre-marinated; the taste reminded me of Bonanza or Ponderosa(although Ponderosa usually beats their steaks into total submission before serving, so you don’t get that denture-riendly soft-chewyness). We didn’t complain about our meals; there was no reason to. However, our server was FANTASTIC. I didn’t get her name, but she was rewarded for her efforts: 25PERCENTER! Can this experience be improved or solved? Not unless the Mgr. does two things: work on the quality of the cuts(or pre-marinate/salt-pepper to fix the comparatively bland taste. 2) Turn down the music. It’s too damn loud. Otherwise, the patio area was fantastically clean and so, too, was the restaurant. I enjoy Texas Roadhouse mainly because of it’s convenient location. TIP: Try Logans or Longhorn on 256. The upgrade is noticeable in both cases.

I’ve been here many times over the past few years. Stopped in for lunch since it didn’t appear busy and we could get a table quickly. Multiple teenaged hostesses, too annoyed to be interrupted from their personal conversations to greet and assign a number to their seating chart. Was led to the back and sat among tables full of children. Food was as expected. Overall, though, it’s gone downhill. Customers look a bit rough, greedily inhaling the unlimited butter and rolls. Likely won’t be back, unless I forget how dirty I felt today.

Certainly not new, but it’s a chain so I don’t expect The Ritz. Decent food, over crowded. Too noisy.

As a big fan of the Texas Roadhouse on Bethel Road I was expecting more of the new location at E. Main and 270. At 6:30 last Wednesday it was jam-packed — good sign for a new restaurant — and we waited over an hour for orders to be taken and the food to arrive. The manager was dressed very casually and was not very professional; although she seemed apologetic, she did not offer any discount for the inconvenience. The atmosphere was, on the whole, disorganized, chaotic, and sloppy. Perhaps that’s to be expected of a new restaurant, and thankfully the quality of the delicious free rolls and juicy steaks was certainly up to par. I might try this location again but will give it more time to settle in.
