Used to love this place but the service has been poor our last few visits. Today I ordered the corned beef hash as I normally do. The waitress brought me something different but insisted it was corned beef hash(it was something covered in gravy and cheese) and left it. I then found our original waitress and she took my meal and brought my hash, AFTER the others at my table had eaten. I took my bill up to pay and told them what had happened. They took the wrong meal off my bill and replaced it with the hash. When I said I shouldn’t have to pay, one of the waitresses(a gaggle of waitresses had gathered by now, ensuring others were getting poor service) said«well, did you eat it?» in a not so nice tone of voice(I ate half of it since the rest of my table had already eaten). I guess it’s more important to lose business than comp a meal to a regular customer.

Breakfast was excellent today. I tried the Veggie omelet and it was very tasty. Our waitress was attentive and we seated right away on a Sunday morning at 11:30.

I have been here four times and every time the food has come out fast. I have had their poached eggs, grilled cheese, chorizo chili, grits and pancakes. Nothing fancy just really solid breakfast food! The location is clean and well lit. The wait staff is attentive. Best of all the menu items are really well priced!!!

The food was decent, our service was great. After a long night out, my girlfriend and I just wanted some comfort food to wake up to and ease ourselves back into reality. I’m typically a healthy eater, but this meal was 100% NFG. I had the stuffed biscuits and gravy with two biscuits, and a side of bacon, and a buckeye smoothie. My girlfriend unleashed her inner basic white girl and had a couple of the pumpkin pancakes alongside of her eggs Benedict. Her pancakes were delicious, with just the right amount of pumpkin spice. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good, although a little lacking in flavor. They just didn’t feel quite as hearty as I had hoped they would. I’m very particular about my bacon; when I take it off of the grill most people would ask, «You’re going to cook that for 5 more minutes, right?» No, bacon is perfect at that«medium rare» range. Kudos to the server(and the kitchen) for making it just how I like it and not bringing it out as crispy or burnt. The buckeye smoothie was a real disappointment. I expected it to be sweet, but the entire time I drank it, I didn’t taste hardly any peanut butter flavor. When I think«buckeye» I need that combination of PB&C, and this was just an overwhelming assault of chocolate on my taste buds. There weren’t all that many options open when we went, so given what was open I would go again, but if there were more options available I would explore them instead.

Great brunch spot, fairly busy on sunday morning but we were able to sit outside. Pancakes are amazing, everything else was pretty typical for breakfast. It did come with fresh fruit which was actually fresh for once.

Great food! The wait wasn’t long at all — about 5 minutes. We were a table of three adults. We got the Chorizo Tacos, Breakfast Quesadilla and the breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious. Good flavor. Generous portion sizes — we were all very full when we left. OJ was good but definitely not fresh squeezed. Iced coffee had coffee ice cubes!

What a wonderful healthy omelet that tasted better than any I have had. Service was exceptional and owner, Earl, made a point to ensure we enjoyed the meal. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes.

Finally decided to try this place again since it opened close to me. This time I had the Belgian Waffle and Sausage links. Belgian waffle literally had no taste and was not even hot not to mention kinda tough, not sure if this is how they always are but I won’t be ordering it again. The sausage links on the other hand were delicious! My mom ordered eggs, grits, and toast. I tried some of her eggs and they were very good as well. She said that the grits weren’t but tasted more like cream then anything. Although I didn’t like most of my meal the first two times I went I will be going back for the sausage eggs and hash browns. They seem to be lacking in other areas like pancakes and waffles but thats just my opinion.

My husband and I have gotten takeout from here three times. The first time they got our order wrong and it took forever to place it. My order had hash browns which they forgot and they also put so much ketchup in our bag that I don’t think I will need to buy ketchup all summer. We called and they offered our next order free and didn’t even take our name. The next time we ordered we mentioned this and it was comped but wrong again. This morning he went again, on crutches and they offered to hold the door and offered a cup holder. He had to ask for help to the car. One person carried the drinks and one person carried the food and dropped it in the parking lot which made the person carrying the drinks laugh. The food boxes were dented and torn and the over easy eggs yolks had burst. This place employs children who were raised with no manners and managers that need customer service training and etiquette classes.

This was a good last minute choice in the area! The place is clean and everyone is super friendly! I highly recommend this place!

Hairs in my grits. They messed up our six top pretty hardcore. Two out of six orders were wrong and one just didn’t come. When that order came out fifteen minutes later the eggs were raw. They did take off my grits and the order that didn’t come so that was nice. I’ll never go back mainly because it was a pretty terrible dining experience.

This is a really good find. The interior is pretty bland(other than the sunshine –at least the day I was there) but the food totally makes up for it. I had chicken fried steak with hash browns and poached eggs. Great meal. everything…especially the homemade sausage gravy… yum! And I can’t tell you when was the last time I had such perfectly poached eggs… ohemgee…so good! Loved it all. Had a great meal for a little over $ 8 and had to take some home. It was a lot of good! My friend had the big bit which was eggs, sausage, fresh fruit and also ordered a slice of pecan french toast… it all looked really good too!

decided to visit this chain restaurant this morning. it was fairly busy when we got there, but we were still seated right away. there were two coffee mugs on our table, one came with lipstick! the table next to us was dirty, but once cleared off, coffee mugs were also set on that table ready for the next guests… with a little dirt on top. i guess I notice these things more than the next person because i am a self diagnosed germaphobe: p our waitress jenn was great. super friendly and patient while we took our time with the menu. the food was brought to us by another employee. when she asked if we needed anything else, we said«no» before we realized we didn’t have any silverware. food tasted fine. i’ve attached a couple of pictures. i ordered the denver [western] omelette… husband got the big breakfast. husband said the sunny side up eggs were perfectly cooked. my omelette was good… a little on the oily side. prices are fair, but when you compare them to «Greek To Me» which has sadly left the strip mall, you’re getting half of what you could be getting! jenn brought the receipt to us while we were both still eating. no worries there… she did say«no rush.» to pay, you have to take your receipt to the cash register. think«First Watch [in fact, the whole experience was déjà vu]. i suppose it was my mistake for making the last minute decision, but i asked the cashier to add on a strawberry banana smoothie, to go. that seemed to befuddle the cashier, but it eventually worked out. maybe they had to go to the grocery store for the bananas, or maybe hand pick the strawberries out of a field in the back, but it took 20 minutes to get the smoothie. to boot, the smoothie was not good. heavy on the bananas and whipped cream. i did love the delicious infused water that was available as soon as you walked in though.

I’m hesitant to write this review, because it seems like Sunny Street is currently somewhat unknown, and I wouldn’t hate keeping it that way. It was fairly empty when we went, without the waiting or poor service that sometimes comes with a place becoming popular! We were looking for a new breakfast place, and had driven by Sunny Street a couple of times. After seeing the positive reviews, we decided to give it a shot. One of the first things that I noticed was that the interior seemed very new, bright, and light! It’s mostly light wood, with a lot of natural lighting. It had a clean feel to it. We were seated fairly quickly and looked at the menu. They serve breakfast all day, but also have a lunch menu. Lots of things on the menu sounded really good, which is so refreshing! There are several places in the area where we go and nothing sounds all that appealing — Sunny Street is not one of them! Our food came out very quickly. I got the Big Bite breakfast with eggs overeasy, bacon, hash browns, and whole wheat toast. Every aspect of my breakfast was perfect! I loved everything. Everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, etc. My boyfriend got the chocolate chip pancakes, and wasn’t quite as enamored, though they were still good. They were really just regular pancakes with a few chocolate chips, whereas he was expecting pancakes with chocolate chips throughout. I’d like to point out that it was $ 15 for the two of us. That is really reasonably priced! Our waitress did forget to fill up our waters which, in the big scope of things, isn’t a huge deal(I don’t really drink a ton of water, so maybe I’m biased?) She was friendly and efficient. We will be back as soon as possible! Our next 3 weekends are super busy, so I’m already thinking of and planning the next time we’ll get to go back!

I went here for breakfast yesterday, and I really enjoyed my time here. The menu is pretty standard for breakfast joints, but I did notice some unique items like stuffed biscuits and gravy. Everything was appropriately price, and my meal of pancakes, bacon, grits, coffee, and eggs was super tasty. Unlike some other places, I feel like Sunny Street really understands the necessity of seasoning things, which I appreciate. Also unlike some other places, the bacon was actually a pretty good quality and not super flimsy. I’d have to say that my favorite part was the pancakes though. They were fantastic, and when I go back in the future, I’ll probably just stick with the pancakes and bacon. The restaurant was pretty busy, which is to be expected on a Sunday morning, but it never felt overcrowded, and we didn’t experience an especially long wait time for food. The servers were pleasant and attentive, and it was generally just a very good way to start the day.

We were so excited to have an actual breakfast place open up so close to home. We have been here 4 or 5 times, mostly on Sundays. We have only had to wait once and it was for only about 10 minutes. They were super busy but the food and service was still great! Lots of choices on the menu to fit whatever you are in the mood for.

Sunnyside’s new store off Reed is likeable. It took awhile to finally open up having been in refubishment since last spring I think. Breakfast is my favorite meal that I don’t have everyday due to time(re: refuse to wake up for.) So having another joint in my area to chow down omletes and blueberry hotcakes is a gift. Its country clean interior was booming for a new locale. I guess Sunnyside is a known brand and other locals were eyeing to visit too. strangly, they had an outer dining room and a inner one. This harkened back to the days of cigerretes and smoking with a meal. They sat me in inner, a windowed room that seemed kind of weird. I don’t know if this is for renting private parties or not. I was tempted to order pancakes as the couple in front had one – it was huge. But I was yearning for a western omlete which is listed there as a Denver Omlete. With hasbrowns, toast and decent coffee it was enjoyable but unrememberable. The service was awkward and confused. After sitting I waited some time before being served. I didn’t notice though as I fought with the Unilocal app about bring a ninja. When I was finally noticed I was given a warm apology. The lady took my order. But another waitress came by to take it again, and still another check up on me. In all I had three waitresses. Confusing. You pay at the counter here fyi. Good breakfast spot. Just some wrinkles to iron out.

Absolutely delicious. Fresh, and also a wide variety on the menu. Perfect for kids too. I brought my rowdy 17 month old and servers were patient.
