just bad. dirty, filthy salon. no flip flops or drying station after mani/​pedi so i had to go over to the facial station in the same room (more like a closet) to sit and let air dry while they brought in someone else to sit 2 feet away from me to start her pedicure… really relaxing right? Then my nails chipped the next day. Even though i only paid half price, it still wasnt worth it. never go. never will return.
In reply to Dawn S (owner): i wasnt making any attacks to you or any of your staff. I simply stated 4 different things about your salon that was unacceptable. Im not sure how you constituted that as a personal diss. And if you are assuming that, then you are also saying that I am dealing with my own feelings beliefs, and opinions… maybe i am because i believe that a salon should be clean, pedicures should be relaxing, flip flops should be given for sanitary reasons, and paint should last for more than 24 hours. I was not «trying to send poison to you» I was simply warning any other future visitors of the disgusting experience I had in your salon. It was not a personal attack. A personal attack would of been me stating that the owner came into the salon during my pedicure with her loud child (assumption), both sloppy in appearance and did not speak to a single customer but instead huffed and puffed around for 5 – 10 minutes before leaving… child whining loudly along behind, BUT i didnt. THAT would of been a personal attack. What I stated was about your salon and my experience… i guess it could of been taken personally since its clearly from your lack of management or knowledge of how a business should be ran… emphasis on cleanliness and appearance. I give this 0 stars. THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! I picked up a Faveroo coupon thing, which was $ 30 for a mani and pedi (originally $ 65). Boy was this the biggest mistake of my life! This honestly was the worst experience I’ve had at a salon in my life. I used to work at a local salon, so I know what the standards should be. My appointment was at 12:30pm on a Friday and the girl doing my nails did not come and get me until about 1pm. When I walked in I noticed the salon being filthy. The chairs in the waiting area had various stains on them, so I chose not to sit down. There were stains everywhere on the floor, hair on the floor, shelves were dusty, and the technicians all looked a mess. They did not look professional at all. One woman had on a short jean skirt, cowboy boots, and a top that was too small for her, so she had a muffin top. The girl that was doing my service did not come say to me that she is running behind or anything (great customer service, NOT!!) She then proceeded to the desk to look on the computer and grabbed a kit kat bar on her way and said, are you Lisa? I said yes, she said «I’ll be with you in a sec», then played around on the computer and shoved the kit kat bar in her mouth right in front of me. She then said «Ok, I can take you back now.» This was after she shoved the candy bar in her mouth. Back at the pedicure bowl, everything in that room was disgusting. Things were thrown everywhere, nothing was organized, I think I even saw some waxing strips with hair still on them. The technician that was doing my nails was very young. After talking with her some, I learned that she normally does not do nails. She is a stylist and her manager taught her how to do nails??! Wow… horrible…just horrible!!! She also mentioned that she is looking to go back to school. When she was finished with my pedicure, she then told me that someone else is using the manicure station and that she had to do my manicure at the pedicure bowl. Ummm, are you freaking serious!!! Oh it gets worse, while doing my manicure at the pedicure bowl, she then asks me if I was ok with walking barefoot to the sink to wash the scrub off of my hands. She said «I’m sorry, but we just ran out of flip flops, do you mind walking barefoot over to the sink to wash your hands?» Ummm really!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! I should have just walked out at that point, but I stayed and finished my services. Needless to say I will NEVER BE RETURNING and intend on telling anyone and everyone I know to steer clear of this salon!!! State board really needs to go into this salon and check it out because I am sure there are several things that they are not following sanitation wise! Also, my polish chipped the very next day!
